Visited store to send several boxes, UPS and the "supervisor"(according to his name tag) was irritated that I had not already made out the shipping labels online. Then he claimed the shipping address, which I had used numerous times in the past, didn't exist and did not give me the option to add any insurance to the packing which I knew was somehow incorrect as I have shipped many things with Staples in the past. By far the worst Staples I have ever been to. Their equipment didn't work and the equipment that DID work, didn't work correctly. I spent money on printing the wrong documents several times. The employees are NOT helpful at all and rather than explain how their email to print system works, they simply repeat exactly what I had just read on the instructions. There were numerous employees, yet not one had a clue on how to problem solve nor any customer service ability. I would have given them zero stars if possible. They give ALL Staples a bad name and due to this visit, I refuse to use Staples again. Absolute trash! read more

I have never used staples for anything other then paper which they always have quality product and prices and, of course, the occasion office supplies. For that, it's great! I was approached every few minutes to ask if I needed any help. It isn't a very big store. But after about 20 min of browsing and talking to the employees I was left alone to continue shopping. The employees on this Friday around 4pm were mostly older, a few under 40. Not that age is a requirement to know product history or tech but hardly anyone knew anything about the tech they had on display. Not about the laptop hardware, printer/scanners, or even the input/output hook ups. I had to step in to correct and help explain to another customer. I didn't mind but then it happened again within the next 10 minutes. On my way out I was even stopped and asked by a third customer to help answer some questions about routers. Maybe staples could have one day a month to explain the products they offer and how they work together. Otherwise, paper and pens are the best reason to come to this Lawton location. read more

I hate to ping these guys for the condition of the exterior and interior, but this Staples looks old. As in, tired and worn out. It was clean, so I guess it is a situation of either close the doors and leave, or keep in old worn out building clean and hope for the best. Two worker guys stopped by and asked if I needed help in the first five minutes I was in the place. I have no complaints about this place, but I would not go here for major purchases. read more

Last night my wife and I went in looking for a new laptop. When we asked the staff about the price of one (the tag was missing) and whether or not it was in stock, he immediately started telling my wife how this wasn't the best laptop for her because it was more for business rather than entertainment, a subject we hadn't mentioned. He also told revealed how incompetent he was about computers when trying to explain the i7 CPU, and didn't know the word processor. Finally when we said we still wanted the price, another employee told us there were only two (inadequate for our needs) model laptops in stock and that "laptop season had ended for the year". I've heard of deer season and football season, laptop season is a new one for me. Will never shop there again. read more

I went into the Lawton store today to buy printer ink cartridges. They were out of the type I needed, but offered to order it online and have it the next day. The associate who helped my was very nice and tried to help, but the kiosk at the store was not operable and he was unable to place our order. He did suggest I try it online at home. I had earned some Staples rewards points and intended to redeem them on this purchase. The associate assured me it would be no problem. I found the cartridges I needed and placed my order and attempted to use the rewards points. The notification I got said the number was invalid. I checked it multiple times and finally gave up and called customer service. They were of no help whatsoever. The denied my account had any rewards points although I was holding the mailing Staples had sent indicating I had $30 in rewards due me. The customer service rep suggested I had received a bogus mailing from Staples. I suppose that could be remotely possible; however I think they just wanted to bilk me out of the points I had earned from purchasing a lap top from them. I'm done with Staples. There are too many other options for office supplies to put up with this nonsense. read more

Manager Michael Hall and his horrendous associate Taneisha don't like waiting on people, helping people, or fixing their mistakes. I turned a printing order in and was guaranteed delivery by 10:30 the next morning. The order was done sloppily and when I pointed that out to Taneisha, I told her I needed it redone immediately as I had to leave on business and time was of the essence. Taneisha told me that she had other orders to do first. NO! my order should have been done right the first time. STOP WHAT you are doing and do it over! but, INSTEAD, she went off to answer the phone leaving me standing there for 2 minutes while she chatted away on the phone. So I went and asked another clerk to find me a manger. Michael Hall came back and I explained that I needed to go and that I needed my work redone ASAP and that Taneisha had walked away and WAS STILL ON THE PHONE behind him. He stood there like a buffoon staring at my stuff for almost a minute and finally I said "you can keep staring at it but that won't make it right"....and, HE FLEW OFF THE HANDLE! Told me that I had an attitude and that they weren't going to fix the problem and that they "weren't qualified to handle my business". You know what? He's RIGHT!!! Staples is NOT qualified to handle my business with an attitude like that and a manager that thinks it's ok for an associate to walk away from a customer and answer the phone. So, took my stuff to Office Depot and they did it in 10 minutes and I was on my way!!! Michael Hall is the worst manager...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills! No ability to act as a manager!! A good manager would have immediately cleared out the copier and did my job....not stood there like a fool trying to figure out what to do!!! INCOMPETENT!!! and...total a**hole !!!! read more
