50 Years of buying business cards = Absolute worse! MINUS 5 Stars One star is far too much for this store. Size 2 font on a business card will not got you contacts....it will make people think you are an idiot. 1. Told to change verbiage...NOT DONE! 2. Told that the font will not look that small on the card....It did 3 I approved under impression verbiage and font would be changed...it was not 4. My photo has lines around it and not placed properly after 5. I started to mention the flaws and the clerk snapped at me YOU approved...no attempt to reconciliate or ask questions-whatsoever 6. I asked for quality stock - and would pay more...the card is so thin so cheap I would not use it even if it were perfect. 7. Summary: They do not listen...unprofessional...poor quality...The font is not legible at all...... on 3 of the most important lines. I have had a long history of bad service at this location. Unfortunately, it's the only game in town. I just left there because my computer crashed last night. I talked to one of their tech folks this morning and they gave me friendly and reasonable advice about it. We decided it would be wise for me to buy a new one. I told him I would be in this afternoon. I went into the store, and I waited 15 or 20 minutes walking around the computers, with the money in my pocket ready to buy one. I found a model that I was interested in, but I had questions about it. I could not see the optical drive, although the description said it had one, for example. Errored enough to see if I needed help and answer my questions. I had money in my pocket, and I need a computer. Today. I am a composer, and my livelihood depends on it. This is only the most recent incident I have had with this location. If upper management wishes to contact me, I have lots of stories to tell, including a dot com order that took over three months to rectify. read more

The local Staples store has always been helpful with my purchases. They offer competitive prices, products, and service.

Once upon a time... Yes, it is a time story. But since I'm not a writer/author/storyteller, I'll be brief. Staples tech has lost a step, no, many steps over 10 years or so. I won't ever trust them again with our business or personal computers. Way too many screw-ups on too many situations. The techs Said all fixed & done when not even close was the fact. I just got to the point where I could not be spending time on repeatedly calling attention to the repairs never done. Software issues were never completed. Programs not able to be used. Besides, the personal have their own attitude problems. Way too sensitive and just don't get it when the customer is losing valuable time & money due to downtime. Staples is way behind the times! While I was on vacation I received an offer letter from the company that acquired my organization. The turn around time was short so I loaded up Google Maps and found Staples while on the road, which looked to be the closest office supply store without having to turn around and go back to Atlanta. So I walk up to the business center and ask "Can I email a document to you, sign it, and have it emailed back to me?" The guy says, "No, our firewalls don't allow emailing." WHAT? Really. So I responded, "That sucks, do you happen to know of anyone in the area that can do this or know where the closest Office Max or Office Depot is?" He responded, "No, that isn't my job to know that." OK granted... It isn't his job to send a potential customer somewhere else but I wasn't a customer since they didn't provide the service I needed. He seemed irritated that I even asked the question. Maybe they have been asked that a lot since we all know their competitors offer this service. Luckily, I remember the UPS store by my house accepted email & scanning once so I looked at the businesses close by and found a UPS store a few blocks away. All taken care of and the day, miles, time saved. The 3 stars is for his attitude - not solely because they couldn't provide the service I needed. However, Staples needs to get with it.
