I teach Exceptional Children, one morning before going to work I stopped at Staples. I was assisted by Christian and Kasey to finalize a yearbook project for my class. I am so glad to have been assisted by them. As each listened to my request, I noticed how well them worked as a team. I was prepared to leave my project with them. However, they immediately addressed my project, after waiting a while the completed yearbook was returned to me. DO NOT GO IN THIS STORE IF YOU ARE NOT AFRICAN-AMERICAN. I have repeatedly been given "the treatment" at the check-out counter at this store, which is designed poorly to sort out people who have simple purchases versus people who require customer service. In the past, I've been toward the end of the customer-service intensive line watching the people in front of me fail to avail themselves of an open POS terminal in which the clerk asked for shoppers. After 5 or 10 minutes, I moved to the POS aisle only to be berated by staff who think I'm cutting in line because I'm white and all these poor people in front of me are being dissed. I guess they'd rather stand there doing nothing than checking out customers. Today I stood in customer service line for over 30 minutes. At no time was a non-customer service-intensive POS terminal clerk available for customers who didn't have a "return issue" of some kind. When I got to the desk, I was told I was in the wrong line. At no time did ANYONE announce that they would take non-customer-service oriented (simple purchases) to the main queue. A time or two a manager came with (elderly) shoppers and then quickly moved off without asking if anyone else had regular purchases. To me it meant that they had no interest in helping customers check out. No questions about helping. It must be a game for them: get whitey to stand at a vacant terminal asking for check-out and be called names for being "entitled" or waiting in line while no one is the simple check-out line because no clerk is standing there and then get called out because I'm in the wrong line. Some annoying woman at the back of the line who had not seen anything that had happened or not happened over all this time started schooling me on etiquette and that she was sorry I didn't get the life I deserved. I will do just that....NEVER use this store (and for that matter, shop) at Camp Creek Marketplace. read more

Came here to get a photo printed out for my upcoming baby shower. I found the customer service to be less than stellar. The staff was not very helpful when operating the computer or copy machine. This caused me to stay longer than intended trying to figure everything out which was an inconvenience. While my photo came out nicely, I would probably not go back to this location. read more

I waited in line for 45 mins with 10 other people to make an Amazon returnbecause the same gentleman who was doing returns was also the cashier. There were 8 people waiting to cash out. The staff member (on 12/14 at 5pm) was very pleasant & efficient. I commend him on a job well done. However, shame on Staples for caring so little about their staff & customers that they do not provide adequate staff. I'm certain theres adequate staffing in Buckhead & it would be considered poor service to have customers waiting this amount of time (yes, its racial). read more

Tech fix I was traveling and my laptops drive was nearing full so I thought I could find some tech to offload files until I got back home. I was totally disapointed with the lack of product selection. I expected Staples would have similar offerings to Best Buy or OfficeMax but they were definitely lacking. I ended up buying a cheap slow usb stick to get me by, but had they stocked more expensive drives or sticks I'd have happily opened my wallet. read more

They've improved a lot since my initial review in 2010. I've used the print center twice and was very impressed with the finished product and the assistance I received from the staff My only drawback is they generally only have one register open when you are ready to check out. Not that there's ever much of a line since office supply stores are probably gonna be phased out completely in out 5 years, but during high peak times, back to school, tax free weekends and tax season, they really need to have more than one register open. I find the staff to be helpful in locating items in the store and they generally will push through any coupons you have. read more

So I called Staples today July 10, 2021 to see if they can laminated and what I got was a male voice saying hello never even saying this was Staples . He sound out a breath at first then it turned into a like a moaning and other sounds now I am not speculating anything but it sounded disgusting. All I wanted was to get a poster of my son who was murdered on June 21, 2021 and all I wanted to get some answers to my question, After stating to the young man I couldn't understand him he put me on hold and never came back to the line. I had to hang up and call back and the young lady answered and still did not say This was Staples I asked her did she know who the young man was who ansewerd she put me on hold and never came back. Well from now on I'm going to suggest that everybody stay far, far away from Staples as possible. I own a very small, one-person business (known as a micro-business). Every couple of weeks I need two or three sheets of labels for products. For 3 or 4 years now we have been going in and printing out our labels on our own high-end label stock. A while back they stopped letting people use their copy machines with their own paper, but the people behind the counter would print them without any problem within an hour. But the people behind the counter today ( 9/22/19 at 4pm) would not even do that. For one they no longer do Express orders for people who walk in. And we would have to buy their label stock to use (which is actually of lesser quality). And we have some specially shaped labels that we got from Staples that they would not use because we didn't buy it from the printing Department. The lady was very blunt and made it clear that there were no exceptions to what she was telling us. This is really sad as Staples was a place where small businesses like mine could go and have things done at a reasonable price. But it's clear now with Staples new policies that they no longer care about businesses that aren't spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month with them. We are now going to broadcast far and wide how Staples treated us, how they feel about small businesses and make sure everybody knows. I'll never step foot into this store ever again. My problem is with the customer service. The employees simply don't have any damns to give the customers. In what alternate hell do customers waiting in line to mail something have to wait while the customer at the register decides that she has the wrong box, leave the register, go pick out another box, take everything out of the old box, re-fold the ish, place it in the new box, and tape the new box? She should have been told to step to the side for all of that. Also, the girl at the register didn't know what she was doing and had to keep calling another girl from the back who came out dragging her feet and scratching her head as if she just climbed out of bed. The employees believe that they are doing you a favor by helping you, manager are none existent and the employees roll their eyes as if you were in the 2nd grade. The WORST ever!!! I spent 3 hours in this place to still be told that my order wouldn't be ready until tomorrow!!! The "Supervisor" in the print department is terrible. She stayed in the back & allowed a young lady "EMPLOYEE" to run the entire print area alone. There were lines at the counter, computers & printers. I felt so bad for the young lady as she went above & beyond to assist every customer without showing any emotion, frustration, etc. I called the "Supervisor" from the back asking if she would come from the back to assist. I order simple business cards for next day pick up. I hadn't heard anything for 24 hours so went at 530pm to see about pick up. I knew I would be only in the area temporarily, that's why order from this store. I was asked if I got an email that they were ready (obviously not) to be told they would email me then. This is coming from an employee point of view. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. I cried everyday before going to work. All of the managers(except 2) were useless, rude and unprofessional. I'm surprised this location is still open. Working here made me never want to step foot into a staples ever again. I quit after four LONG weeks without have a backup plan. That's how much I HATED that place. Only 3 of my coworkers were helpful. Everyone else were disgustingly mean and made my job harder. I had a bad feeling during the interview and i should have trusted that gut feeling because my anxiety became 5x worse after working here. Came in for an ink cartridge and left with an ink cartridge. You thought I was going to leave you hanging like that? Naaaah! So, as I stated earlier, I came in for an ink cartridge and when I walked in, no one greeted me, but that was no problem for me. I don't come into a store to make conversation. They've remodeled and it's definitely much easier to navigate throughout the store and it looks like they've made the signs bigger which is good. When I found what I needed, I went to the checkout line and London was so helpful. She's probably the most helpful employee I've encountered at Staples next to the other guy with the dreadlocks (his name escapes me). She answered every question that I had and she had no attitude! If you read my reviews, you know how much an attitude means to me. I can't reiterate enough about how employees act as if you're getting on their nerves. Now, here's the negatives of my visit: When you're looking for specific products or anything for that matter, you're going to look at the price. I saw the pricetag for the ink cartridge was almost $4.00 cheaper than what other places had quoted me and I quickly picked it up and ran to the register. As London asked me the typical questions (did you find what you need, how are you, etc), I saw that the cartridge was actually going for $26 when on the pricetag, it said $23. I informed her of the mistake and she gave me the cartridge for the price that was stated on the tag. I know it seems petty, but there's nothing worse than getting into line and realizing that the price is completely different than what you were quoted. This store is crazy and the staff need training from the manager down , in copy in print ask can you print yes on the self service machine only to find out I cannt use my own paper and to place an order and pick up after 5 pm the following day , I told customers keep breaking the machine so you cannt use your own machine , never heard of this rule in my life and also I use to work for staples so I know how this goes but ok , let just say go across the street and I use Fedex and they loss out $200 order smh . If I could give this place less than one star I would. Customer service is the worst at the printer desk. Mykele is awfully rude and even giggles at customers when they ask for help. Don't get me wrong the printers are easy to use but I needed help with the orientation of my prints and Mykele was treating every customer like we were all in kindergarten and had 0 intelligence. She is rude, impatient, and has absolutely no customer service skills. I will never visit this staples again because of her. I told the manager about her but I'm sure he won't do a damn thing. Oh yeah and the printers have to pre-authorize your card for $5 before you can even use the damn thing. DONT GO HERE. Make it your last resort. read more

I think this staples is undergoing remodeling as things were still out of place and there were just a ton of stuff laying around that I didn't think should be on the floor for a customer to see. If you haven't seen the newly remodeled staples, think less of all horizontal isles like a supermarket but more bestbuy showroom style with some horizontal isles on the side. Selection of stuff is not too bad. I think they carry more selection of pens now (I'm really OCD with my pens so I have to have a certain one) which I'm always grateful for. When I went, the copy center seemed to be pretty busy, so I guess people were printing stuff and sending stuff for the holidays? Computer showcase was mainly showing high end mainstream laptops such as Asus, Acer, HP, and few Dell's. I'm more of a Dell fan so I would like to see more of their selection such as the XPS series and whatnot. But it seems Staples is pushing the netbook/ultrabook department so you'll see plenty of those. They even have couple display stands dedicated for the microsoft surface tablets. If you wanted to play with one, head to staples. Some other cool things I found of this place was their isle dedicated for kindle e-readers. I didn't think staples had a partnership with amazon or anything to have a dedicated row. The only customer service I encountered was asking where their clearance section was since I was used to them being on the end of the isles, when I found it, pretty disappointing. Just random stuff thrown together. I like finding stuff I would actually use in Staples clearance such as mouses, laptop sleeves, etc for cheap. Overall, typical Staples. Ebony- the print services manager refused to print an order of documents for me despite the store having done so 2 previous times unless I cane back to the store to fill out an order form AFTERR I HAD ALREADY LEFT THE STORE AND GONE HOME!! I called fed ex and they were more than happy to handle my print order without paying in advance and with the same instructions Staples said were insufficient. After a few visits I always feel like there is low energy there. I always have to chase down an employee if I need help who usually in turn treats me like I irritated their very soul for needing assistance. They never seem to have a full staff. The few employees that are there usually show no semblance of good customer service skills. I asked a guy a question today he told me to look it up at the kiosk to see if it was available in store, so I did. They guy literally ditched me. He wouldn't make eye contact with me. The girl at the register just stood their dumbfounded and when I asked her for assistance she couldn't conceal her irritation that I bothered her while she had nothing to do. Then she gave me a very bland blah answer about the item I was inquiring about and did not try to offer any more assistance. She walked away very quickly. I tried to catch a woman that looked like the manager but she quickly walked past me into a room near the ink section. I was pissed. I found my items at target. I won't be back. f I could give them zero stars I would. This is by far the WORST Staples I have ever experienced. My last two experiences with them have been ridiculous. A couple months ago, I ordered some pens and scheduled online pickup. I received an email saying that my items were ready. When I got there to pick up, the MANAGER "couldn't find my order" and, despite me looking at the items on the shelves and then having my receipt, the manager told me there was nothing they could do and to call customer service. This time, I placed an order for a same day print and copy service yesterday. I needed the order for tomorrow, two days later, for a work event that starts at 8 am. My confirmation said that my order would be ready by today @8:30. After not getting any type of ready message, I called the store, and spoke with someone who told me my order would be ready by 8:30 and I could pick up after that and before 9. I go to pick up, and the employee told me my order wasn't ready and asked who I spoke with. Apparently, "the person that was supposed to do my order didn't". That's literally what the employee told me! The only options she had were for me to either cancel, or have them do it first thing tomorrow AM which would be too late. So two days wasn't enough time, but tomorrow morning would work? The employees are consistently lazy, careless, and stupid enough to make you want to punch them. With as many unemployed people as there are today, I say fire them and hire ppl who want to work bc they don't. I told her to cancel my order and I will NEVER be returning. read more

Run! Do not go to this store! First off the employees do nothing but sit around on their phones and chit chat with each other and when you need help they act like they sooooo bothered! The store was a mess seeing as though it's back to school time they should stay on top of that. Came to return 2 items, a stapler and a tape dispenser. Now before I go dither let me say I e worked in retail for years and I know all about return policies. Get to the registrar and with attitude the cashier ask if I have my receipt. I said no then she asked for the last four of the card and my license. I told her it was paid for in cash and I had to chase my mom for her ID. Why? Idk. The policy without a receipts that you get store creditor the LOWEST SELLING PRICE within the past 30 DAYS! that's a month. They gave me $1.99 for an $18 STAPLER! And $3.99 for a $6 tape dispenser! Tell me where that makes sense!? When was a $18 stapler EVVEEERRRR $1.99!? If that's the case i would have bought several of them. They said they have no proof of the price but the items were right there in the store!! I filed a complaint and even the president of Staples Angela Jare was not helpful or accommodating. The employee in store is named Zaylon or something like that. She thinks the customers owe her something. This will be the last time I ever shop at Staples. My money is no good here. Will encourage my friends and family not to shop here either. Just money hungry and don't care about their customers. You think they are gonna resell that undamaged stapler for 1.99!? Nope! I'm not quick to write a bad review, but after 3 trips to this Staples, I really had to take the time to write this. This has got to be the worst Staples on the planet. The first time I came in here to get something printed, there was one person working at the desk and about 3 people in line. After waiting 20 minutes on line, I ended up leaving. The second time I came here to get something printed, again there was one person working the line. There were two people in line. 30 minutes later, I ended up leaving as I still had not been serviced. The 3rd time really was the last straw for me. Again, only one person working the line. I needed to get something printed. After 15 minutes waiting, I went to the desk. The lady showed me how to get into the computer to print out my documents. I printed out my documents, went to the printer but only 2 of 10 pages printed out. I had to get back in the line (now 5 people) to tell the lady my documents did not print. I waited another 15 minutes to get back to the front. The only response from the lady was to email the documents to the store for printing. Granted, the computer had already charged my credit card $14.61 to print 10 pages. I emailed the documents, went back to the lady to tell her. She says, oh you have to wait for an email confirmation number. After 10 minutes and no email, I went back to tell the lady that I need to get a refund because I'm in a hurry and now need to leave. Her response was, A REFUND FOR WHAT. I almost snapped. I received two pages of the 10 pages I printed, my card has already been charged, I need a refund for the pages I don't have. It took her another 15-20 minutes to get my refund back to me. I will never return to this Staples again. Terrible customer service. read more
