I saw the $69 all-in-one photo printer I wanted (yay sale) which did not have a display model above the tag. Fortunately the salesman searched the store for me and actually found one. The only caveat I had with the whole experience was the usb cables, for $25. I got one from Sears instead for $11. Overall, I think that this Source is a good place to shop when they have sales, with staff who are genuinely friendly and helpful.

I've been in some dollar stores and the shelves were bare and had some iteams sold out, but this one seems to be well stocked. I freqently visit the Dollarama to purchase my gift bags, bows, party favors, hair accessories, cooking utencils, batteries and crafts. They have an excellent scrapbooking/craft section. Sometimes I wonder how they can sell what they sell for only a dollar! I buy all of my household scissors there and have yet to break a pair. They are great quality! I will even buy some of my stationary at the dollar store! For their 'one-time-uses' the Dollarama is a great catch!

Or what I don't need but buy anyways because it is only a dollar! Sometimes when I am on the broke side of things but want some shopping therapy, I will go drop $20 at the dollar store. I come home with many bags of random crap I most likely don't need, but it quells my urge to spend money and I am entertained for a while. I also like to use the dollar store to collect items to cheer friends up. Most recently, my boyfriend ended up with a "bag o' crap" as I called - prime items were a container of play-doh, an emergency mylar shelter and aero bubbles! The store is usually clean/organized and the staff are less than friendly, but I know I wouldnt be friendly if I worked there so it doesnt phase me. I would only suggest avoiding it on a Saturday afternoon unless you like snuggling with strangers while you shop.

Well, you can't always find what you're looking for. The same goes for this little art supply…read morestore. Never mind the colourful sign indicating its whereabouts, you still have to enter through doors prior to the shop and manoeuvre your way through the small halls with low ceilings. But hey, once you've found it, you'll always know how to get there. Okay, difficulty locating it aside, this is a pretty nice little art store. It isn't too big so you don't feel overwhelmed by different gadgets, but it still has all the necessary tools for the true artist. Sadly, that isn't me. I didn't know where to look or where to even start. Lucky for me, it is small so there wasn't much room for getting lost. I ended up finding something that seemed like what I needed, but when I asked the clerk if it would be suitable for my project, he simply responded with, "I don't know." That was all. I was hoping for a little more help than that. I think he could sense I wasn't the artsy type and therefore snubbed me a bit. Even when I asked a couple more questions his response was always the same. I didn't feel too confident about my project after that. At least I know I can find this place again if I ever decide to try another project. Perhaps I'll be given a different answer than, "I don't know," to any question I may have.

Its just a tiny little thing, but packed with a wide variety of art supplies and books of the art related. The store lay out is straight forward and well maintained, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I've found they can run low in stock on special items throughout the school year if there's a NSCAD class requiring specific materials. But most of the time they are pretty good for having things on hand. They have a lovely selection of paper. From Mayfair to more exquisite, textured Japanese papers... certainly a highlight for me! From all the basics to the more nit-picky tools, the NSCAD Supply Store has a well rounded body of product and at reasonable prices. There are also certain items they keep behind the counter, so if you're having trouble finding it, ask an employee! The books are mainly there for classes, however if you're interested in learning some art history or teaching yourself photography, the selection offers a great platform for some self education! I'd recommend this store for all creative individuals around the city!

A great place to visit if you're in need of a piece of furniture with very little credit hastle!…read more I took a stroll into this store one Saturday and couldn't believe the number of people in there shopping! The place was packed!! I didn't know much about these types of furniture stores but after asking a few questions, it seems quite simple....but expensive. With the economy the way it is today, I understand that people do not want to tie up a lot of money unless really necessary. With Easy Home, it's easy to shop, borrow and then give back if you need to. If you're in need of a TV for example, you go in and pick one out, fill out an application (no credit checks required) and then you walk away with a rent-to-own TV! If you decide after 2 months that you do not like that particular TV, just simply give it back. The only catch is that it is quite expensive. You may end up paying 3 times as much for that TV.

Hardly ever see them in the U.S. The place was packed with people during our Sunday visit. Surprisingly clean and organized despite the ton of people here. They had a lot of check out counters, and I believe they were all open with lines of customers. We chose to go to the Express Lane. There were about 30 people ahead of us, but I liked their set-up for the express lane. Customers lined up and would wait for a checkout register to become available. A screen would light up with the register number that is available, and a speaker would also announce the number as well. There were at least 8 checkout registers that were dedicated solely for the Express lane. We waited less than 5 minutes before it was our turn!! Very cool indeed!! If they don't have what you are looking for, rest assured, they will go to great lengths to find it for you in one of their other stores or in the warehouse. Compared to their competition, which is not an equal by any means, they are far superior in customer service and customer satisfaction. We usually buy entire bolts, rather than small amounts, yet it is not a problem. There is always something to be found that is of interest and there are usually hidden treasures among the bolts.
