After using Staples for over 20 years for person purchases and through 3 businesses I have run. They some how have turned into the worst customer service provider out there in my opinion. After ordering a few items and being told they were ready for pick up. The customer service rep refused to complete my order as one item was "open box" having already left work and needing the gifts for later I told him I didnt need the 10% off and was fine taking the open one. He still refused. As I was leaving I express politely that his store had the worst customer service. I didnt yell swear or act aggressive at all. I then contacted staples customer service had the order cancelled and placed a new one for another location. I waited a bit and went there. I even offered to help get the items ready so I could be quick. This young kid who claimed to be a manager and was in fact not a manager then informed me they would not serve me because I was yelling at the other store. Again I was extremely frustrated at this point and still was polite and left. After dealing with the national escalations department I decided to cancel that order and purchase else where as I will always do moving forward. However the store number 2 processed my order as if I had picked it up and then refused to issue a refund. The guy on the phone even acted like he would fight me if I was at the store and hung up on me. Insane how a person turning down a 10% off price and willing to pay full price for the item he was told was ready to be picked up turned into a massive issue by unprofessional immature staff. Where at least a few customers are forever lost in a time of retail struggles. read more

We needed a passport photo for a two week old infant. The young man and young woman who helped (Jaas) us were excellent in helping us get a govt approved photo from a baby who couldn't hold still. They were quite patient, gave us additional tips and in general made the experience much less stressful than another photographer. I highly recommend this store for passport photos, whether you have an infant, a toddler or any age subject. read more

I went to the staples at 130 Country Village Road Northeast, Calgary AB T3K 6B8 to get a photo reprint as was advised by the online customer service but the agent Jaslin was very unhelpful and rude. She only wanted me to go buy a different sized frame. she was dismissive, brusque, and only interested to get me out of the shop. When I said that the online wizard does not alert user to stretch the uploaded photo to the desired size, she told me that "we are not there to hold your hands online". This girl was full of herself and had no interest in helping resolve my issue. She is bad for business! I don't want to go that store again! read more

I ordered a calendar online and had it printed at this location. It was easy to do and there was lots of options available to customize it. It was ready the next day. I went in to pick it up. After closer review, it appeared that the pages were not folded exactly in half. They were slightly off but it made all the difference in the world. I tried refolding the pages but then the paper got ruined. The clerk said we could reorder it, which I did. Next day I was back to pick up my new calendar but unfortunately it looked the same. The new clerk said he was going to recalibrate their folding machine. It turned out a bit better but I asked if I could just hand fold the pages myself. He said sure. So I folded them all and stapled the calendar together. It actually turned out really nice. Now I just need to figure out how to make a hole at the top to hang it up. The manager offered to refund my purchase because of the hassle which I thought was really generous. The calendar only cost $10 which was a bargain to begin with. Now I have 2 extra calendars to give away to anyone who doesn't mind seeing me or my cats for the next year. Because of the outstanding customer service here I would highly recommend this location. My order wasn't as I requested but they went out of their way to make it right. read more

The staff here are friendly and accommodating. I called ahead to make sure they took electronics recycling. I warned them it was a large DLP TV with a stand that couldn't be removed. They said it was OK over the phone. When we arrived a staff member told us the TVs with stands are usually not accepted by the company who hauls their used electronics away. After some persuading they gladly accepted the TV. There needs to be better communication between the staff regarding electronics recycling. Other than that everything is great about this store. read more

I left the staples at Market mall angry by the way I was treated and came here. The staff here are much friendlier and are willing to help. The girl at the print centre was nice and greeted me right away. She was able to get what I needed in a timely matter and was pleasant to deal with. read more

I was SO impressed with the customer service of both Dylan and Connor at Staples Country Hills. There was a misunderstanding and all of the family photo's I ordered came out as a poster and in the wrong size. Both Dylan and Connor spent over an hour redoing everything for me and spent their own time downloading and reformatting my photo's. They had a line up but they kept apologizing to ME for making me wait!! They had such an amazing attitude and I will always go to this location for photo's or supplies for teaching/etc. read more

I really like staples for the electronic recycling....it is very helpful. The manager guy, I don't remember his name...but he's super helpful. Very accommodating. Very friendly. If the general manager is reading this he's the guy married to an Asian wife (I told you he was friendly and very chatty :-) read more
