Unbelievable customer service I just got from here today. And it comes from a manger too? Seriously don't know what kind of training they be receiving, or no training at all. It's easy to train an employee skills but definitely can't train an employee's attitude. When you're working on the floor, no way you are showing this type of customer service out. As a Relationship Manager, my employee will be out of the door already. So what exactly happened? I have been coming to this staple for color printing a number of times. Right off my head I can count at least 5-7x, for my kid's birthday to my wedding, which is last month, and was less than a month ago. Every time I'm here I don't have much issues and other staffs were pretty friendly and professional. I was always able to use their PrintMe service where I emailed them my file to be printed and I provide my own card stock or labels and they color print that for me. Always in and out within 5-10mins. Then today I was told by an older lady sales associate that there is an express fee if I want that printed right away and the turn around time is 1hr even with that express fee. What?! So I called my husband and see when he's here few wks ago happened to him, like was this always their policy. Both my husband and I have always been printing with no 1hr turn around time and no extra fees being told to us. So I explained that to the lady and ask to speak to the manager about when this started because my last visit was a month ago myself and less than a month ago for my husband. The manager, who was standing on the side talking to another person came over and start off with an attitude already. I told him that I was not told bout this express fee and turn around time. I even told him a month ago I even gave a good rating and review on one of his staff. He asked me who and I pull up the review. Then the manager said "Oh, I know him. I trained him. But he hasn't work here for 5 months now." That moment annoyed me. How are you the manager and lie to me! I told the manager right away that that is not true because I gave this review the day I was here and it was a month a ago only that I reviewed this Staple and that staff. The manager shut up right away and said "Why are you fighting over a few cents?" Excuse me? It's not about that few cents I am disappointed bout. It's your overall attitude and lie and the way you speak to a customer as a freaken manager too! As a Relationship Manger, I have dealt with many many customers because we work on the floor too, but NEVER you present this to any customers when you're representing a company. What a shame! The proper way he should have treated the situation is to hear the customer said, explain the company policy, and waive that this time, and welcome the customer to come back. So next time customer returns, he/she is already aware of this and won't be surprised. His way of behavior just brush the customers off and never want to return back. The manager then tell me I wont charge you the express fee this time, but next time I will and he semi throw the printed card stock paper back to my hands. How rude! I don't know what kind of manner is that. Apparently he wasn't trained at work and wasn't taught at home. Even my 5yo said to me "Mommy why is that boy so mean and not nice." Unbelievable! read more

I think this is weird that suddenly I'm bizarrely attracted to Staples all over the country, but seriously I don't know what I would do without Staples! I have traveled quite a bit this summer over to the Midwest and East coast and always found something interesting to bring back from my travels. The caveat to this is that the item I bring back is more often than not some type of liquid which requires me to check in my bag. That's good and all, but I have discovered TSA to be especially aggressively lately in checking my bags. There was an incident where I was absolutely shocked that they went through my bag and misplaced items of liquid in such a way that they were subsequently broken. To avoid these incidents, in comes Staples! They sell this giant roll of bubble wrap which is perfect for wrapping up to 12+ bottles for a mere $17! This was miles better than shipping it IMO and provided me with the comfort and security of knowing that no matter how much they mishandle my bag, that my bottles will arrive safe and sound. Yup, never coming back here again and you can thank Bansari for that. I'm not usually the one to point people out but I had not only less than average treatment, it was much worse than that. First of all, I placed my order at 1pm. According to Staples policy, the order would be ready in one hour. That's when I got here at the customer service counter. I waited for a few minutes to be served. No issues yet. It started to go downhill once I encountered Bansari. She turned around and said, "You need help?" No, I'm just here to watch you, idiot. I told her I placed my order an hour ago and am here for a pick up. She then checked her computer and said there's no order for me. Then she questioned ME and asked when did I placed my order. I said an hour ago. She still didn't believe me and requested to see my email. I grabbed my phone showing my order at 1pm and showed it to her. Then she took my phone and started clicking around. Excuse me. It's MY phone. I asked for it back and she didn't respond, clicking around a few more before handing the phone to me and said, "You didn't get any confirmation email." I sighed, took my phone and showed her my confirmation email. She tried to take my phone again but I held it firmly in my hands, so she learned forward and started pushing buttons on it. Then she asked me for an ordering email and I was becoming frustrated. I know the customer isn't always right, but to doubt your customers over and over again is insulting. Fortunately, the manager stopped by and asked if we needed help. I then explained my situation to him seeing as Bansari didn't even attempt to tell him what went wrong, she simply turned around and continued whatever the hell she was doing. The manager then explained that he never received our order, but would deliver the item right away. In less than five minutes, he came back with our order and apologized for the delay which was cause by a computer error. I thanked him, not even betting an eye at the incompetent piece of trash standing behind the counter and left. Overall, terrible sales associate, the manager is the only saving grace. read more

This place deserves no stars but a star needs to be selected to post a review. I took my printed document to Staples and I explained to the service rep how I wanted the pages cut. I went to Staples on Nov 11, 2020 to pickup my document and they punched multiple holes within the document instead of in the outside border of the document. I wasted one rim of my own paper which took me 1hr to print and I prepaid about $19 for poor job service. I could've done a better without eyeballs. I'm never going back. read more

I have received outstanding customer service, even to the point where they call me to let me know my order is ready for pickup. Only once was there a slight issue and it was corrected immediately. As I'm standing waiting for my printing order, that got messed up I started to read the reviews and it's so true!! The copy department is the worst!! The girls are incredibly lazy and not helpful what so ever!! Their even rude at times. I always say I'm going to go the one in Trevose, but it's just out of the way. They give me. Zee is amazing! After spending 3 hours trying to upload a simple file to the staples website and failing. I decided to visit this store for assistance the next day. I was lucky enough to have Zee assist me. He was patient and took time to show me how to upload my document properly. Zee even helped me edit the document and made it look as if it was professionally done. After editing and submitting the document for print. The system stated that it would not be ready in time for my event. Zee worked his magic and had my flyers ready in time. He even called me once they were ready for pickup! He is truly an awesome young man with a passion for editing. I will request that Zee provides his professional opinion to all of my marketing pieces. read more

I am only giving this 1 star because they don't let you post without a star. This place is awful! They have managed to misprint our orders 3 separate times. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The manger got on the phone and pretended to help me today and then did nothing to assist my husband who is in their store. I would NOT suggest going to this location. The store employees are great but Staples' policy regarding returns is terrible. We bought a printer and after 2 additional trips to the store and several hours with tech support on line Staples finally admitted the printer does not work properly. However, even though we purchased a back-up warranty from Staples, they will not simply exchange the printer or give us a strore credit but told us that WE must contact the manufacturer to have it replaced. Of course, when we called the manufacturer we were put on hold for several minutes until we finally gave up. Staples said they take returns only within a 14 day period after purchse, and we are only a few days past that, basically because they would not admit the printer was faulty when we first took it back to the store and then wasted more time on different days with remote tech support. Bottom line: Staples doesn't stand behind what they sell. They act like some "middle man." I will not deal with them again and advise anyone else considering buying from them to reconsider. read more

I needed to print a document sent to me on my AOL account and on my phone. The person behind the copy desk blamed the very slow connection speed on their computer on me and then AOL. In this day and age why cant Staples get a wireless printer as an option? I paid $1.86 for absolutely nothing. I wasted my time and could not complete my task. The employee was not helpful and just assumed I was wrong. Only one computer was working and this one could have been broken too. I have used Staples in my professional and personal purchases. Generally, I have found them acceptable both in offerings and service. The latter being an apparent challenge when looking at their "BBB" service standing. My current experience has been negative, not with the product ordered but with the company's internal shipping and customer service at the local store level. While researching for a personal item, Staples was identified as a vendor/source. Notwithstanding my surprise the item, aluminum steak tenderizer, was ordered for delivery to my local store. I was unable to "track" the movement through their web site except for the reference it was shipped. Today I received a request for "feedback" on the item but nothing had been received. I contacted the "800" customer service # for assistance. While the engagement was not flawless it provided a Fed Ex Tracking # for delivery to the store on 3/4/2014. The store was to contact me for p/u but now 2 days after receipt no contact. After 2 separate contacts with the 800#, it was confirmed to be in the store. When I questioned why no contact from the store the failure was attributable to Fed Ex for not having my telephone # on the shipping transmittal. This is a complete falsehood, I inspected the shipping label and my contact telephone # was readily apparent. The gross failure in customer service is at both the corporate and store level, either a material training/process deficiency or store management lack of oversight. The product is as advertised and described. But consider the customer service/delivery challenges when ordering - look at the negative BBB feedback and today's release on future store closing. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I live about 45 minutes from this Staples. I usually go to 2 other locations, but my mom lives between this Bensalem location and a another one, so we went here since I was in her neighborhood for the day. I am getting married on Friday and am trying to save a few bucks where I can. So, I decided that I would design my own stationary. Most of it was printed through a well-known website some time ago, and they did a phenomenal job. However, I decided that I would bring the ceremony papers to Staples to be printed - programs, signs for the bar for our signature drinks, signs for the bathroom baskets, 'Reserved' signs for some cocktail hour tables, poems for our memorial table, etc. Little stuff, amounting to a total of 205 pieces of paper. Yesterday (Monday) I brought my USB file to Staples for this stuff to be printed. Since I wanted the paper to be a touch classier than regular old printing paper, I ordered pink parchment paper in advance - 250 pieces, amounting to $33.21. I brought this pre purchased paper to staples along with my files and directions yesterday morning, expecting them to tell me the turnaround time would be an hour or two (like every other Staples I've ever been to) and my mom and I would peruse the other shops in the strip mall while we waited . Nope. 'Come back tomorrow' they said. 'We'll have it done by then' they said. Whatever. Now poor mom is inconvenienced today to drive 20 minutes out to Staples again to pick up stuff that should have been done yesterday. I digress. She gets there...they SCREWED UP OUR PROGRAMS. It looks like a 2 year old took a pencil to the back of 20% of our programs. Not only that; we brought over the entire pack of paper I ordered (my first mistake) which was 250 pieces of paper. THEY ONLY NEEDED 205 FOR OUR ORDER. THEY WASTED ALMOST 50 PIECES OF THE PAPER THAT I BOUGHT IN ADVANCE AND BROUGHT THERE!!!! And of course, Staples doesn't carry marble print pink parchment paper so they can't take a new pack out of the store's stock to reprint, and I don't have time to re-order more paper and print again. What was there solution? 'Well...you can't really see it. It's not that noticeable. But...We'll give you $25 off your $58 order.' Sounds great, right? Nah. Because you see, I bought the paper in advance. When you tally up the almost 50 pages they wasted and threw away, and add that to the ruined ones we are forced to take due to time constraints, they wasted over $10 worth of my paper. That I bought. Which really means they only gave us $15 off our order. Which is really only 25% off. Which any idiot with a coupon can get. Which this idiot (me) is now forced to bend over and take, out of sheer lack of time to do anything else. Screw you Staples. If I wanted my WEDDING PROGRAMS to look like they were a homemade kindergarten art project, I would have printed them on my own computer, not paid you to screw them up anyway. I went today, 7/2, to pick up an order for work that should have been ready on 7/1 (was uploaded online on 6/30, with a pickup time of 1:30 on 7/1). They couldn't "find" my order after looking around for 5 minutes. Then they proceeded to begin the process of printing my order from the beginning without giving me any updates that they were doing this. I waited for 15 minutes silently before finally asking how long it would be. It was only then that the woman doing my order said it would be another 15-20 minutes. I left and came back. When I came back it still wasn't ready. Not having my order ready was bad enough, but the customer service was awful. This should have been in and out but instead the whole thing took nearly an hour of my time. These employees need customer service training badly. This wasn't my first experience with poor customer service at this location. I will no longer be using Staples, we will be using FedEx Office for printing instead. read more
