Great spot to buy an office chair. They have a huge selection of amazing refurbished chairs,…read moreincluding the famous Herman Miller aeron. I really like the human scale liberty chair. Paul was an amazing sales associate there. Very knowledgeable and super helpful. Definitely visit during their operating hours and support small businesses for your next office chair purchase! They also have an online store and ship!

Unpleasant interaction with an angry man…read more I was looking for chairs with a particle feature, and I called in advance to confirm that the chairs they had fit my needs, which they did. When we first arrived there was a friendly woman, and angry man. The angry man was immediately rude and belittling to me, and told me the chairs did not have the feature I wanted. We were looking for 4 chairs of that particular model, and were given the impression that they had 21 in stock, but when we got there, there were only 4, one of which was broken, and the angry salesman sat in one. The salesman didn't seem to know much about his product - I asked whether the chair had the lumbar support device, and the reply was "I don't know anything about that... another customer asked about that too". If a customer already asked about it, then what's his excuse for not have already googled the chair himself? While we were looking at the chairs, a delivery arrived at the rear of the room we were in, and I watched and listened as the angry man was rude and dismissive to the delivery man. The angry man was also rudely critical of the friendly woman behind her back (while she was on the phone). We agreed to buy one chair, and we had to move it to the front of the store to pay, and then out to our car, with no offer of a dolly or help. We angry man was reluctant to take our payment - using the credit-card machine was clearly beneath him, and he was angry that the friendly woman was unable to do that. He made us wait, before begrudgingly doing it himself while complaining about the woman. As I was paying the $200 for the chair, I asked whether there was an warantee or not, and the angry man replied "at that price, no, there's no warrantee". But there's a lot nicer way to say that, like, "No, sorry sir, used items are sold as-is". Polite, efficient, normal, right? This guy always took the angry patronising approach to everything he said, never the normal pleasant approach. The angry man should never be placed in a customer-facing position. We would not recommend this store to others. Do yourself a favour and check-out the used furniture stores in Scarborough, at half hour south. They have similar chairs for comparable prices, but they refinish the chairs too, so they're in better shape.
