I am a knitter, so I go to the yarn selection in the store. There I find an array of choices. I just want to cuddle up on one of the shelves. Fabulous colors and textures abound. I always buy more than I need, but the yarns seem to pop in my hands and say take me home. The fabric selection is awesome too. They have kits for making quilts in many sizes and colors. If you do any crafts, stop in for some interesting finds. I look forward to coming back.

An excellent Canadian dollar store just across the border from Buffalo and Niagara Falls, where you can get a bunch of cool stuff. It's better kept and better stocked than some of the Buffalo dollar stores, that's for sure. Just seems a little more upscale while still costing next to nothing for all the stuff in here, so I like the store, and it's usually filled with students.

This location is actually…read morepretty easy to get to - the 116 bus passes by quite frequently and it's within walking distance to Brock University. (About a 30 minute walk back, although the hill is killer!) This location is always clean and always has a decent amount of staff working on hand. Got a question about a location of an item on the shelves? Ask - it's easy to find staff at this location. (They also know what they are talking about - I've saved a ton of time asking the staff about items instead of searching for them.) This location sports a ton of cooking implements, food (both junk and staples), seasonal stuff, and a lot of school supplies. I've never had a problem with staff ringing up the wrong prices or finding broken and opened stuff on the shelves like in other locations. It is a pleasure to shop here, and it is usually quiet enough so that you don't feel like you are being crowded into the store! * Beware of lunch hour and the kids from the high school across the street - it can get noisy and annoying in here.

Unreal! Not to mention all of the retirees who take books and mags into the Starbucks and read for free? For the love of reading? If you are not spending money on overpriced merchandise we don't want you in our store as potential future customers? Wow, just WOW. We should be thanking the heavens that young people choose to READ instead of smoking weed or getting up to no good. And in small town too. Gross. I will no longer shop here and ensure my teens don't waste their allowances & BDAY money here either. We will go to Amazon or Temu now or heck, the LIBRARY where everything is FREE! There should never be, at any point, anyone asking children and teens to stop reading. Wake up Chapters, if you want future customers, you better work on inspiring a love of reading in them.

Giant Tiger = Giant Deals…read more Just saying. I used to live 5 minutes walking distance from here and let me say, Giant Tiger (GT) is a staple among nearby residents. They have so many good deals here. For example, a box of powdered sugar doughnuts is only $1!! And oh man, are those powdered doughnuts good. My mouth is literally salivating as I write this. GT always has some good deals going on. Every week they have new specials and often times you can get really good $1 deals. Once they were selling frozen pizzas for $2. I bought four (plus a box of powdered sugar doughnuts). There are of course some items that are a little expensive, but most things are a good deal. GT sells clothes, food, drinks, and home supplies. Basically everything you need for your household you can find at GT. The quality of their products is good too. I would say higher quality than Walmart but lower quality than Costco. Overall, great place. You know you won't be getting ripped off here, and the staff is quite friendly too. The store went through some renovations recently. Basically they changed sides for the exit and entrance doors, and made it so that you have to walk all the way around the store to get to the cash register after walking in. Looks nice though. If I still lived close enough, I would definitely stop by here. Bonus: the beer store is right next to this place in the same plaza!! Whoooo!

The clothing prices are cheap, like $15 for a dress. I don't know how their shoes hold up but they look cute. I like getting pop, butter, and canned food here. There's also lots of parking and it's beside a beer store.
