Fast forward a couple of years and I decided to use it again but when I unrolled it the mildew smell was horrible. it had obviously not been completely dry when I got it back. I posted online for suggestions on how to get the smell out but nothing worked. I had decided it was a lost cause. Today I received a phone call from Mr. Culver who said he realized they had cleaned this rug and he wanted to make it right. He will be picking it up and doing his best to get the smell out of it. I have never had customer service like this. I am so grateful for his willingness to try even though it has been quite a while since the first cleaning. I will make sure I never use anyone else but Culver and all of my friends will be told that this is the place to go. Above and beyond, Culver Rug!!!

I had guests coming to town and needed someone to come within 2 weeks and they had availability within 1 week of calling which was great. Cost was comparable to other companies I spoke to who would never call back to schedule a cleaning. The initial clean wasn't up to par and wasn't finished in the time quoted, however we spoke to the company who sent out a new crew to do a re-clean the next day. Second crew took one look and agreed the previous cleaning was unacceptable and spent extra time finishing the cleaning and re-cleaning all the areas the other crew had worked in the day before. This time they gave the attention to detail we were wanting. We fell in love with the cleaner they sent that day (Terri is the best!) and have requested her ever since for our weekly cleaning. When I say having my house cleaned weekly is the best decision I ever made in regard to my mental health it's no joke! We were drowning before and now the house never gets so out of control that we can't course correct in time for the next cleaning. The price for a weekly clean is great for our house and cheaper than therapy . I will admit I was apprehensive after our initial cleaning day that was not good - but the company stood by their satisfaction guarantee and made it right. We have had a few different teams come out other than our regular cleaner and they have been okay but not stellar. I like that I can request a specific cleaner and get her 95% of the time, as she knows our home and the specific details that we care about. Definitely recommend this company!

True rug professionals are few and far between. I moved to Hilton Head over the summer and needed to have my own rugs cleaned and repaired, so I spent a great deal of time researching the best ones in the area. Von Hughes seemed to have all of the attributes I was looking for, and from what I could determine, they had the equipment and expertise to do the job correctly. Kirill made the pick-up experience extremely easy. We reviewed what needed to be done, including completely replacing the fringe that had deteriorated on a rug I brought back from Kathmandu several years ago. When he dropped the two rugs off a few weeks later, I couldn't have been happier. The large Oriental looked as good as it did the day I purchased it. The Nepalese rug was also spotless, and the new fringe was absolutely beautiful. The workmanship was incredible. I could not have asked for a better job. As someone with experience in the rug cleaning industry, I can honestly say that Von Hughes is World Class, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
