Carlos arrived promptly for the first appointment of the day, which I greatly appreciated. He did an excellent job with the cleaning and then applied the Scotch Guard to the heavy traffic areas. If I give the carpet plenty of time to dry, hopefully it will look good. read more

We were offered a cleaning to remedy our earlier experience. So glad Ed, the manager, was able to convince me to give them another try. Carlos, the technician, was detail oriented, professional and focused on ensuring I was aware of each step in the cleaning process. There were several steps he completed that were not completed first round. He shared the steps were all expectations of a typical carpet cleaning. Plastic protection for the door frames, stain pre-treatment, dry cleaning, steam clean and raking were all part of the process. The carpets looked as good as older carpets could after the cleaning! Ed followed up after the cleaning to ensure I was satisfied with the service. I appreciate honest people making things right. I highly recommend the Grover Beach Stanley Steemer. read more

Stanley Steemer - Bedroom carpet - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Grover Beach, California

SLO- I scheduled a visit with stipulation that rug had to be taken offsite to be cleaned as we did not want a wet rug on our hardwood floors. We scheduled work, reiterating to scheduler and dispatcher, rug had to be done offsite. this was just like the last time. They arrived with just one guy so I helped him put rug in truck. owner calls and states they don't have room for rug and don't do rugs in the shop anymore. He should have informed his people of this. We wasted time and money so I asked him how he would make it right. He laughed and said he wasn't going to do anything. So I helped the technician bring the rug back in the house and gave him a tip. why the tip? it wasn't his fault it was the very poor management of the owner. Don't use, owner is lackadaisical in the way he runs his busines and disrespectful of customers. read more

originally gave the young man great reviews, even gave him a lil extra for lunch. i was leaving town late that evening, and on return 4-5 days later. still noticing odor, in same areas he and I discussed, w dog peeing x 2! called company, was told it would prob be a few days for reply...that was 10 days ago. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN. Their customer service is terrible. He was quick to try and sell me continued services, but guess he forgot to offer deodorize. read more

We had a water leak that was undetected for some time. It was in an upstairs bathroom that seeped down the wall to the first floor. Our insurance company sent Ed from Stanley Steemer in Grover Beach to assess the situation. Once he determined the damage and need for mitigation, Ed and Robert came back out to do the clean up, demolition, and mold testing. Every step was thoroughly explained and all questions we had answered. Having never experienced anything like this before, they made it as painless as possible. We could not be more pleased with the job they did! They were thorough, detailed, extremely conscientious and great to work with! As stressful as something like this is, they made it an easy process. I hope to never have to experience something like this again, but if I do, they will be who I call. Now for the rebuilding! THANK YOU Ed and Robert! You guys did a great job! read more

Service person did a terrible job. Left product on floor very sticky when you walked and you could see it. Manager sent someone out a week later to rinse floors and never called to see if we were satisfied. Unsatisfactory read more

We had extensive water damage from a burst pipe in the primary bathroom. Our insurance company sent Ed and Robert from Stanley Steemer in Grover Beach to assess the situation and do the clean up and demolition including all sorts of testing and mold mitigation. (Our contractor will do the rebuilding.) We could not be more pleased with the job they did! They were thorough, detailed and extremely conscientious. And, equally important to us, they were both kind, polite, funny and GREAT to work with! If, GOD FORBID, we're ever in a similar situation, we'll call them back with no hesitation! And we HIGHLY recommend them to any of you who have a similar problem. They couldn't have been better!!! read more

Stanley Steemer came to clean our carpet yesterday, Fernando and Isaiah spent at least 2.5 hours on an dirty ,stained, 14 year old carpet. They did an amazing job. I had doubted it could be cleaned ( I have 4 senior cats) Plus coffee and who know what else had spilled on the stairs. Fernando and Isaiah made them look new, plus they left the carpet nearly dry. I highly recommend this company. If I could rate them higher than 5 star's rating I would. . read more

Excellent service! Jose was extra professional, polite, and did great work. I booked online for our tile to be cleaned in 3 bathrooms, and had them clean one of our sectional sofas. Everything looks brand new! The guys were prompt and answered all my questions. They were VERY careful of my new flooring, which I also appreciated. (I didn't even have to ask :) We will absolutely be calling Jose for our next project! A+ service!!!! read more

I will not use Stanley Steamer again. We needed our carpet cleaned as it has been several years since it had been done last. We spend several hours moving furniture and other items out of the way so the carpet cleaners would have less to move. When the crew arrived they upsold me which was okay I just expected my moneys worth, which I didn't get. Their ad says they move furniture but with the exception of a couple of chairs they didn't move anything. The carpets look much better than before but my problem was moving the furniture (I offered to help) and they didn't clean inside the closets (Everything on the floor of the closets was taken out). read more

Great crew! The guys are trustworthy, professional, AND most importantly do a fantastic job of cleaning my carpet yearly. A couple of years ago they took the wrong product, wood floor cleaner called Restore, buildup off my floor. I've heard it couldn't be done. Ruben stepped right up to the job and it turned out FANTASTIC. Never any problems. I'm sooo glad I did it! Stanley Steamer has very high standards and will do a great job for you! read more

Hands down the driest and cleanest my carpets have ever been. I will never use any one else. They go over the carpet basically 6-10 times or more with deep cleaning steam, and continue going over with high suction truck mounted suction to get the carpets amazingly dry for steam cleaning. Their competitors do less than than half the work and leave carpets wetter regardless of their claims. I know, I've been getting my carpets cleaned every 6 months for about 15 years using national chains, regional chains, and local family owned operations but had never used Stanley until this year. But you get what you pay for, they can be up to 50% more, but no one else has national allergy rating either. The bad: Stanley Steamers will on both uses has basically refused to honor advertised specials. Internet ads, saying need paper coupon, or not valid in California. Recent ad, it's expired. Oh discounts don't apply in California etc..... still happy with service, and willing to pay full price for what I get. But if Stanley Steamer managers are reading this, you are opening yourself up big time to bait and switch type issues. Home owners/renters, the price they quote in the phone is the price, do yourself a favor and don't expect your coupon or knowledge of a ad from any source to be honored. The Good: your carpets will never be cleaned so thoroughly, will not be left wet, and will quickly dry. Worth every penny of full price. If it wasn't I would have dinged for pricing in any other review. read more

The team came out and cleaned my sectional couch, and while it looked pretty clean while wet, it dried and remained a little dingy in some spots. I called to request they come out a second time, and without hesitation, the gentlemen on the phone arranged a second cleaning - free of charge- with enthusiasm and genuinely was interested in my satisfaction. The man who came out for the second cleaning was the same one who came the first time, but he wasn't insulted, he was eager to make the couch look great! I highly recommend this business. I'm all for businesses that aim to please their customers. read more

Thank you so much Vladan and Stanley Steemer for cleaning my (very hard to clean) area rug for my living room! I'd bought a white wool rug at a flea market and quickly after buying it I realized that the previous owner must have had an animal as my puppy wouldn't stop sniffing it! Stanley Steemer cleaned this rug for me, deodorized it and delivered it to my residence within one week. My experience was overwhelmingly positive; I'm so impressed with the timeliness of this local business and how professional/kind their customer service is. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends/family in the future! THANK YOU AGAIN for such great service!! Will definitely be calling you going forward! read more

Had a price set before they came...they increased it after seeing the location of my house...guys kept asking inappropriate questions while they were there, uncomfortable....Also Asked for tips?? Do not recommend! We spoke to the manager who was very abrasive and he was rude. Will be reporting them to corporate. read more

Stanley cleaned the carpets of the house to which we're about to move. The people who lived in this house before us paid for that job. I contacted Stanley because the carpets are still stained. The Stanley representative told me that they would perform free corrective work if contacted within 10 days of the initial job. We are now past a month after the initial job. He offered me partial rework at a discount and possibly free rework if his management would agree to that. I understand and accept the policy. I mentioned that the stains were consistent with furniture (they're rectangular) and not consistent with foot traffic that would have occurred after the cleaning. The house has not been re-furnished yet. This triggered a turn for the worst in our discussion. When one would expect a business to consider they may not have performed as well as expected, I was faced with one suspicion of wrong-doing after another. I was basically told repeatedly that it was likely somebody else's fault / deception. I do not recommend this business. Below are more details on the discussion. 1. The representative told me that he didn't mean to say that I was a liar but that there are people out there that will lie to him and that he had to be suspicious. 2. When I mentioned the fact that a sliding door had been left open after Stanley was done with the job (to facilitate the drying of the carpet), the representative took this as an opportunity to demonstrate that somebody could have entered the house through that door and dirtied the carpets. (The sliding door opens to a second-floor balcony. So I expressed doubts about that.) 3. He then implied that past occupants could have come back to the house and dirtied the carpets after the cleaning. I then indicated that they had moved out of town the day before the cleaning. 4. He then expressed suspicion, stating they could have told me so but could still have come back. (I know as a fact that they had left the day before.) This is when I decided I didn't want to deal with this business, even for a discounted or free job. read more

Jose Nunez from the Grover Beach/Oceano location made my white carpets look brand new! One of them was a 10 by 10 shag throw rug that I thought would never come clean. I was very pleasantly surprised! Here is a pic of the shag throw rug when it was about halfway done so you can see the difference.... Thanks Jose! read more

Amazing job, the team even got out the old pet stains! Our carpets hadn't been cleaned since before the pandemic. I thought this cleaning might help but I'd still be destined to replace the carpet. Not any more, it genuinely looks like I replaced the carpet! They were even careful with furniture and replaced it all correctly. Highly recommend this business read more

Excellent level of service From Stanley Steamer the carpet is clean and looks like new once again. They cleaned a puppy accident on a stairwell (Caused by an over excited puppy when another dog came to visit). Stanley Steemer got the urine stain out, were on time, polite, and had a sense of humor. The carpet looks great. The price was fair. What more could you ask for. read more

Once again we are extremely pleased with the work of Ruben and his assistant in cleaning our carpet. It looks great when it is clean, but a light colored carpet sure can get dirty, even with just the two of us in the house. Both Ruben and his assistant worked very hard to get the dark spots out. It looks great! And, when I unexpectedly had to leave, Ruben finished up quickly. I was able to get to where I needed to be. See y'all in six months! read more

The price was right going in but not worth it coming out. The carpet was cleaner but at what cost?!? The "Tech" arrived, assessed what needed to be done. The he started trying the upsell of Teflon, etc. we declined. So he began cleaning. By the time he announced that he was finished and had his equipment out the front door we noticed problems. The carpet saw soaked with water and all the baseboards were marked by the "Wand". I went out and asked why the carpet was so wet and the baseboards were marred. He said "...that is normal." The carpet took 4 days to dry (no there was no rain) with doors open and fans on to try to remove the water. The baseboard appear to have aluminum transferred to them from the wand. No we don't want a call back or anything from SS. Just want the next guy to know what we went through and they might encounter as well! And BTW, the carpet got dirty quickly because of the water/soap left in the carpet. read more
