This means making sure that our customers have a full understanding of what work is being done and how that work is being done on any given file. We firmly believe that our client's interests are best served when they are informed, and to that end, we not only advise our clients, but also educate them on their legal rights and obligations to the best of our ability. We do not provide service in every area of law, but for what we do, we aim to provide only the highest quality of service in our legal work. Over the years, we have worked hard to specialize in the fields we do practice in, never cutting corners or taking on files we are not confident in. We know that uncertainty can create a lot of unnecessary stress, so we aim to provide our clients with a fixed quote for each file whenever it is practically possible. We are able to do this because of our wealth of experience in our practice which enable us provide accurate estimates of the work load for each file. We get rid of the unpredictability of billing by the hour, and our clients can rest easy, knowing that a few phone calls and emails won't make an extra dent on their wallet.

I am not able to judge this firm's legal expertise, but:…read more 1) I chose this firm because one of lawyers shows that he can speak my native language, but he seldom spoke it during the consultation (just 1-2 phrases). He kept speaking in English even when I repeatedly said "I don't understand." And he did not slow down the speed he spoke at. 2) The lawyer gave me an unrealistic advice. I bought a property but the deal was done with misrepresentation by realtors. The lawyer told me to find another place to live in and rent out the property I bought if I don't like it. He said so as if "easy thing." But I think only limited % of people can bear two obligations in this pricy area (one for the property I already bought and another for new place, in my case). There is no guarantee that tenants pay without skipping any due, and eviction will cost a lot in case of delinquency. 1) + 2) = the lawyer may not be very good at viewing things from others' situation, though he may have legal expertise. Actually he interpreted things as if I were wrong on no basis. 3) Not very professional. For example, the lawyer repeatedly said "the parties will not pay money to you because they do not like you", not "they will not pay because they will not take your claim seriously" etc. It is not a legal advice but something else, possibly humiliation. Also, he repeated "they did so because they did not like you" regarding their misconducts, when the real motive was to earn money. Furthermore, the lawyer said that I had lied about the situation when he found my misunderstanding of the meaning of the legal argument. I just lacked of knowledge enough to understand the meaning of the legal issue but the lawyer humiliated me by saying that I had lied when I explained the situation. 4) Receptionist is not very sophisticated. When I made an appointment over the phone she said "your English is not good" with ethnic accent. She does not know the phrase "which language do you speak?" And this goes back to the fact in 1). She assigned the lawyer to me, based on her judgment on my English speaking (and my name), but the lawyer did not the speak the language. 5) If you feel the hour count for billing is longer than actual, say so clearly. You will be listened (in my case the lawyer said that the consultation was 1.5 hours long but actually it was about 1 hour). Also, I would recommend you to confirm the rule of billing, before the consultation. The rule is 50 CAD first 30 minutes, and regular hourly rate after that (even during the consultation).

I completed my purchase smoothly; the staff are great and the lawyer Ferhad Sean Amiri are very knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, I needed a legal counsel for a contract interpretation; once again, Mr. Amiri not only reviewed the contract with me carefully, he also perform a thorough search to make sure the legitimacy of the business entity. He even spent the time to give me a lot of recommendations on taxation and other important points for me to consider. This is above and beyond my expectation. Highly recommended!

He embarrassed my wife in front of the staff, continued to discuss our personal financial information in the lobby, and was ignorant of the final disbursement. Please avoid this lawyer at all costs. I asked him to please stop discussing our personal business in the lobby when we went to pick up the check. He said we weren't his clients and that we didn't make an appointment, both of which are lies. He was completely ignorant that his firm had withheld funds for contingency costs, and when I asked him for a final schedule of payouts, it escalated to where he threatened to call security. Meanwhile, his clerk was trying to inform him that I was right, there was a second check.
