if this is affiliated with the City of Riverbank police dept, Then they are No help, i recently consulted them Re, some neighbors disturbing the peace and causing some issues that could be very serious, the dept brushed me off saying if there is no crime nothing we can do. To Stanislaus County sheriffs department is amazing except for their lazy subdivision and Riverbank. I just want to say it to all the women out there. I hope you're never brutally raped in Riverbank to the point where gun is pointing out your head and drugs are shoved down your throat and I sure hope you never get assigned Detective Gallo is the laziest Detective I've ever came across in my entire life. All he did was interview me and the person who brutally raped me, booked my rapist and of course, Da lets them off with no evidence. There's no urgency with Detective Gallo whatsoever. He never contacted the witnesses. I provided him. He never checked any phones text locations. He never checked the crime scene. There's 1 million things he was supposed to do that. He never did and don't even get me started on his incompetent. Watch Sergeant, who betrayed me when I brought up the fact that they didn't collect the right evidence. I hope God has mercy on all of them because I know the devil won't. read more

Crap cops they paralyzed a man and didn't offer any assistance, just couldn't be bothered after paralyzing him. Then less than a year later he died after living in a hospital bed on a ventilator for 10 months. Sorry excuses for police. The whole station should be shut down and everyone should go to prison. read more

Officers from this office killed a man, while he was cuffed. The victim told the officers he was paralyzed and couldn't move. They didn't believe him and continued to move him, which made the injury worse. He eventually succumbed to his injuries and died. These officers are still on the job. read more

While I typically support law enforcement, I don't support stupidity, intimidation tactics and blatant discrimination. Two of the supposed protectors and servers were riding in a van this morning along with another van of a team of at least two. They were traveling Southbound 99 when the vehicle behind them (in which my daughter was driving) passed them. The 2 who were (in their uniforms) in the van (that was in front of her before she passed) decided to pass and unsafely cut in front of the other van to dangerously tailgate her vehicle. (I love the recording devices on the electric vehicles). Not only did they do that but they made gestures at her and continued to get even closer. As they tried intimidating tactics-She didn't flinch -they were also doing all sorts of facial expressions and physical gestures that appeared to be mockery. The beauty is the faces are clearly identifiable and recorded. Elon did his thing on this. It's appalling not do professional this group of immature boys are. Being a federal law enforcement official, I'm so glad that I was not in the vehicle with her. Their discriminatory and immature ignorant behavior could have caused an accident. I do have their license plate and vehicle information and I will keep this information for future reference. It's totally sad that the their management at that location condones things of this nature because this is not the first time that I have heard about something like this happening, especially to women and people of varied racial and socio economic backgrounds. It's really sad that young, fearful and immature people are trained to be behind a weapon to protect and serve. And until awareness and accountability is made priority, it will continue to spread like a plague. This county must be in a state of desperation. The beautiful thing about it all, and most brilliant thing is that I love the fact that I am and we are closely related to a few people who are in executive functions of the state and on the federal level who oversee county and city law enforcement departments. It is time that people who are supposedly in service and protect positions are held accountable for their actions and that they understand that they are not untouchable nor above the law. read more

So, tonight, March 24th, I had a disturbing incident happen at my senior complex. At 8:45 p.m. someone knocked on my door and rang my doorbell. I went over and asked who it was three times. No answer, no opening the door either. I stood by the window to see if there was any movement outside, and I could not see anyone. So I called 911 and told her (the dispatcher) of a suspicious act. Dispatcher I talked to ask where I live three times, what my name was twice, and that a patrol officer would be over there as soon as possible. Half an hour later, I called 911 again and asked what had happened and why I wasn't contacted. She stated that there was an officer who had gone over and patrolled the place... I don't know if he got out of his car, which I would think you would do if there's a stranger or a prowler on the complex. She stated that I had to request them to come to my door afterward. Which is ludicrous! Common courtesy would tell you that after I told her my address three times with my apartment number on it that they would have the decency to knock on my door and "reassure" me that everything was okay.... nope. Also, when I called back the second time, I should use the non-emergency contact number next time. Hello? I'm 65 years old 8:45 p.m. nobody's knocking on my door or ringing my doorbell. There's plenty of area for them to hide from view. Very and I mean very poor service... to protect and serve. Lmao! read more

This is primarily for the sheriffs office Nicole at the front desk who was answering my calls was extremely nice & professional. I will be honest, I come from the Bay Area, some of the officers or office clerks tend to be rude no matter what. It's unfortunate but it's true. I have not had that be the case with my time living in the valley. Kudos to Stanislaus county for treating everyone like decent human beings no matter what! My experience while being booked (after turning myself in) was terrible. To start, barely any of the officers or staff were wearing masks as required. There were no practices of sanitation given the current pandemic. I had to use the same pen that everyone uses and when I asked for hand sanitizer the Sheriff told me, "you'll be ok. COVID isn't real." I never saw anyone once sanitize where they would have us sit with the clerks to answer questions and sign our paperwork and I was there for 6 hours. They offered the males sandwiches at lunch time but us 3 females were not offered one at all. When I was finally offered a sandwich at 4pm I declined and the officer said "good cuz I am out now." Really?! Then why ask! When I was released two officers said "YELP us and give us 5 stars!" I wonder why....cuz they suck! read more

The Stanislaus Sheriff Department operates the county jails. The personal that control the bail information phone line. Seem to have a difficult time answering the phone. Then the posting of bail bonds at the window seems to take entirely too long. The Sheriff openly degrades bail bondsman. Plus the jail food really is not meant for human consumption. The special Kool aid with no labeling makes one wonder why after drinkng it inmates fall asleep. read more

A Deputy or higher (I am not sure of the ranking) came to my house to issue a summons to court for the previous resident. I did not have the their forwarding address, only the city. The Officer was very professional and friendly. He was a good representative of Stanislaus County Sheriff Department. Stay safe all Law Enforcement Officers. God Bless!! read more

Having a nice quiet day today at woodward lake, with my daughter, wife, grandson and dog. No one else around. Just sitting on a picnic table play catch with the dog. Low and behold comes Sheriff deputy Clint Eastwood to stop the crime. He parked up by the bathroom, I guess to far for him to walk, and announced on his loud speaker Put Your Dog A leash. We immediately complied. I know this is the rules, but he then waited for us to come to him. He then told us this was a closed area. I said there was no signs and have never been told it was a closed area by any park employees. He said it did not matter I said it is closed. He pointed a road barricade that was painted orange a white and said that was it was the international sign of the world. I told him no it was to keep people from driving in the during winter. This made him irate and drove off, almost taking my arm with him as it was laying on the passenger side window while being talked to. What a waste of tax money to come way out to woodward for this. No wonder some cops get no respect. On the way out I asked about at the gate and they said as long we walked into the area, it should not be a ploblem. We did walk in as I parked by the bathroom Keep in mind there no else within a half mile at least. What a crime fighter. He was wearing sgt. stripes so must be very VIP read more

She told me she was the only one in there and she had nine other emergency calls on hold. That's ridiculous! How is it you only have one person handling all the potential emergencies in this town??? For example. I was in a three car accident in town. It's not a large town and I don't know the number of officers on staff nor the number of calls they receive. I'm currently working with Insurance, Medical Bills, a lawyer, etc. all of which need the information. I go over to the PD and it's not ready. I was told to call back next week. So I wait another week and a half, so I call and it's not ready. A few more days go by so I leave a message for the officer on his voicemail to contact me on when it might get finished. I never received a call back. I realize it's not a major crime but my life has been disrupted and I need to give information to other parties. Long story... date of the Accident was 9/23/18 today is 11/7/18, and I was just able to get the report. As I'm waiting for the copy of the report I see the sign hanging that says it will take ten days which I included in my post. Again, I think this is fairly glaring. All I really needed was done communication back. It's pretty disappointing actually. My rating could be a lot lower but I respect the jobs of police and what they do.

Instead I see a little beat up accord cruising, shining a flashlight into cars and looking into abandoned homes, and I knew it was about to go down. So I called 911 and I kid you not, I was still on the phone with the operator, giving her details and PD was already pulling their beams on these guys... I was pretty amazed, considering PD in L.A. would have taken waaaay longer, and the guys would have prolly broken into a few cars before PD got there. I watched like a nosy ass, as the police interviewed each of these fools, and eventually escorted them out of the area. That was the first, and last time I saw anything strange like that in my neighborhood, and I owe it to the Mountain House Sheriffs. I'm glad they are within reach, to protect and serve our neighborhood.

Anthony Silva died in sheriff's Camaras care and they still haven't done an internal investigation. This was all caught on body cam ! Silva was violently taken down for no reason you can check YouTube for the body cam footage, the deputies literally brutally assaulted an innocent man, paralyzed him and when he asked for help they laughed at him and mocked him. Deputy Justin Camara and Detective Za Xiong paralyzed Anthony Silva during a routine stop. Silva later died from his injuries and the Stanislaus Sheriff's Department didn't even bother to conduct an internal investigation into a serious use of force incident between these officers and the handcuffed Anthony Silva in 2022. Camara had allready been involved in another trauma caused death of another Citizen. There was NO investigation by the sheriff, no prosecution of these two psychopathic deputies. I hope someone in the Dept reads this: I hope to GOD the AG or the DOJ files civil rights violations and not only prosecutes your 2 murderous deputies who are STILL ON ACTIVE DUTY, but I also hope those IN CHARGE are prosecuted as well. read more

My family was a victim of a crime. We filed a police report to report the crime. The report was not investigated and to date nothing has taken place. It has been over two years. No follow up and no communication. Dozens of calls. You can be stripped of all your wealth and they do absolutely nothing. In our case a convicted felon on probation was involved in embezzling over $800,000, forging documents and fraud. Think the DA's office will do anything? Not even a follow up call. Twisted police department. It's not a crime to save calves who were thrown in a pile of other dead calves. DxE are heroes for the animals. Really? Charged with grand theft?
