Great selection with a friendly and knowledgeable staff!. Member benefits are also pretty strong!

Always get good service here and they have the best prices I can find in Denver just know the line can get a little long during rushes

They've now put on display that I'm here spending a bunch of money on my medicine. Showing everyone I'm epc isn't very cool. My med card is supposed to be confidential not left out on the table for everyone to see I'm buying more than regular. Who's going to walk me to my car for security now that everyone knows I'm spending $1,000 plus ? read more

staff is always really nice and bud is generally good quality. went in today and asked for a recommendation of best bang for the buck for quality/quantity. Bud tender brought out one tub of mac cherry breath and I took his recommendation without inspecting as much as should have because when I got home and looked at the bud and smoked it it was pretty bad quality and questionably expired/starting to get a little mildew or moldy. I smoke a lot of popcorn and this ounce is probably going in the trash because it tastes straight up bad. probably on me for not asking to check out other bud and taking the recommended that they are probably trying to get rid of asap. Always had good experiences here before this and can't be too upset because it was bought with my membership points. just disappointed with the quality this time around, next time I'll need to be more careful inspecting the bud! read more

Weird I've been coming here for 3 years have to drive 45min+ just to get here and never had an issue with a suspended license being used as ID I've even used my revoked license to purchase. All of a sudden this new boss comes in and now they won't take it??? I was just here last week and had no issue. Find a different dispo to shop at this one's crashing hard. read more

Always terrible service always a line and there alwa harass you about your information being incorrect even after going multiple times in one week and spending hundreds of dollars there. Standing Akimbo is my go to dispensary. It is medically only. They have prices like no other. Standing Akimbo is known for their great prices so there's usually always a wait. Best mmj in denver quality and price is top shelf!! I'd highly recommend this business for med patient on a budget..

Well I purchased a 1/4 which I was happy with and I sent in an email inquiry regarding their EPC policies and since I have a MED support badge I should know all the polices for MMJ sales when I've only ever worked in recreational? Unbelievable. I got an email back with names of alleged managers or floor leads to speak to but every time I called they were "unavailable". "Spencer or Daniel" I'm aware I'm dyslexic but I re-read the email and I didn't mistype anything so badly as to be assumed an imbecile? I haven't felt so spoken down to since I filled out the wrong bubble on an EOG test in grade school. When I did get through the desk person knew nothing. They sit in front of the computer and see the emails come in Good news the IRS suit made all the higher up contact information public. read more

Best dispensary. Best prices. Best staff. Best products. 10/10. If you have a med card, visit this place! read more

Be prepared! If you work a 9-5, don't ever expect to be able to shop at this dispensary and get your medicine. They are constantly shutting down and not taking anymore patients well before they're actually supposed to close just because they think they're too "busy". Find bud tenders that actually want to work and get every patient their medicine as long as they have checked in before they ACTUALLY close, not two hours before closing time. Everyday I get a text saying they're closing 2+ hours before their already early closing time for a MED shop. Horrible customer service. read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the staff is very friendly. This has been my favorite dispensary to shop at and has had the best prices. I've been able to find in Denver. I looked at their website today and since yesterday they decided to do a member and nonmember price tier with no warning, notification, or any sort of news to the loyal customer base. Since this location has been bought out by the starbuds corporation, it has gone to shit! Management is nowhere to be found, it's sometimes very difficult to get an answer to a very basic question and I think it's ridiculous that they go ahead and completely change their pricing to member and non-member without giving any notice whatsoever. Very dirty business tactics if you ask me but what can we really expect from a big corporation that doesn't give a shit read more

Hands down THE WORST DISPO IN DEMVER, they have super good quality and prices for EPC, but thats if they even still have it after it dropping a few (hours ) before i pull up to shop.... they are 100% picking and choosing to who is able to get dibs on everything before its even available on the shelfs... they are only worried about selling BULK To their freinds that have cultivation licenses and litterally selling every quality to them but the mids! BEEN TRYING TO BUY MY MEDICINE FOR 2 weeks now and no luck at all! Mind you not i call everysimgle day asking if anything came in. And no luck. this place is just so poorly managed and they dont give a hell about their clients that actually need their medicine but they rather sell bulk for it to just be re sold else were... they just want your money and thats it!! Terrible service and very rude especially the manager ARI hes verry aggressively rude & has anger issues,, he once told me to "GET THE FUCK OUT" because i adressed that i got charged for the wrong product calmly and wanted to fix it before i left the building, and disrespected me for no reason but his fucked up ego!! Do yourself the favor and DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!! Spencer if you're reading this you need to fire your best friend Ari I don't care how much Coke y'all do together, fire him and get your fucking business together this shit is a mess and it is only clowning yourselves I don't care how good of product or how good your prices are I will never come back this past month has been the absolute worst and all I do is keep getting bullshitted . You will go out of business doing this type of business, good business is the only business.. if you need help just let me know, not sure if he just don't know how to run a business or y'all are all strung out on drugs but dude like I said get your shit together or you're going to fall off! I never post reviews but you guys need this one very very disappointed read more

You are probably thinking "could it really be that bad?" It's worse. Disorganized management, questionable ethics, super terrible service. The prices aren't low enough to justify how terrible of an experience this place is. read more

Amazing service and selection. One of the best medical dispensaries in Colorado.

Prices for medical and specials! They always have deals everyday that's why I love this place!

A former employee whistleblowed on their grow op. Company has been known to use unregulated products for pest management, plants have mold issues as well as aphid infestation. They also spray their plants with nutes til harvest which most growers know is a huge no no. DO NOT GO HERE read more

This dispensary has the absolute worst costumer service I have ever received from any Dispensary in 5 years. Been coming here for a few months but will not return. It's as if they think that because they have some cheap prices that they do not have to give good costumer service. They also have been known to have mold and bugs in their grow rooms. Parking lot only has 6 parking spots and they have no waiting room, they make you wait outside in the snow or rain... read more

Ignore the other reviews on here. This is Hands down best medical storefront in the whole Denver metro area, as well as possibly Colorado entirely. Anyone who disagrees with this fact is impatient, and doesn't understand how the store runs it's business. Standing akimbo has an exemplary pricing strategy. Whereas most dispos are charging anywhere from $5 more, to completely doubling the price they are getting their products for from vendors, standing akimbo is the only dispensary that takes the approach of charging under $5 per product. This is how all medical storefronts should be. When I shop at standing akimbo I know I'm always the priority. It's never about the money they will make from the sale. It's me getting what I need for the best price possible, that is all they have ever cared about! Yes the wait times are long (sometimes even hours on the weekends) but the deals they run at these times make up for it! I have gone everyday for several years and only once have I checked in for them to say they had to close early. And when they did that they gave every patient still in line like $100 credit on their profile. That's 10g of live resin or diamonds at standing akimbo. They literally given stuff away. I've been so loyal to this store and it comes back to me every time I come in. I couldn't be more happy with the management. The only complaint I have is the budtender turnover rate. I would like to see more budtenders stay longer. read more

You guys used to be awesome....not so much anymore. Get your stuff together man!!! LI shouldn't have to drive by 20 times a day just to see if you have 1 parking spot open so I can sit in my car and wait over 2 hours for my medicine. I can't order online. I can't stand outside a wait (even with a mask on and social distancing). I need medicine and you guys are making it more than difficult. Gonna have to become a member at a better dispo! Hope y'all do lose all your members ‍ read more

If you know remotely what you want, aren't an asshole, and avoid peak hours, it's a great experience. I get why people are pissed off about showing up for a drop, waiting for hours and then not getting anything but this is the busiest place in the state and it's not even close so why put yourself through that in the first place? The people helping me were great, prices & product great at as always, and I only had to wait like 30 min after being told closer to an hour(granted it was monday at 6pm and the guy said it was weirdly busy). read more

They have good products, but EVERYTIME I come here I'm waiting for 30 minutes and there's 3-5 people who come AFTER I do and get a chance to go inside before me. When I specifically tell the bud tender to not get me a specific strain and they do the complete opposite and give me what I didn't ask for it makes me feel like I waste my time and money. read more

Every time I come here the wait is close to an hour, if not more. The staff doesn't seem to care about the customers and aren't very knowledgeable. I understand the parking lot is small, but maybe parking wouldn't be an issue if everyone wasn't waiting in their cars! read more

Best dispensary in the city. Has basically everything you are looking for in THC and for probably the best price around. The wait can be long but that's based on the reasons above. A true MED only dispensary. read more

We know they have the best prices. But the people working the front need to stop telling people on the phone if they can get there before a certain time they will miss the cut off time.. because we got there well before the time he said we needed to beat and the cut off still happened. So we drove across town for no reason. And while checking in the guy was on the phone still telling people if they can get there in a min they can check them in... like what the heck is the logic. Oh and the guy even took my ID even too and was like it's too late.. just a waste of time that could have been avoided with a call back or just saying the truth that you're not actually taking more customers. It's not cool to lie. Other than that they are great. read more

PLACE IS HELLA LEGIT!!! have patience and you'll have a hella good experience!! love the service

I signed over my med card to these assholes, so I could use my extended plant count. They have given me the run around for a month now. Literally since April 14th when I became a patient there, all I hear is "it'll get put in the system as soon as the manager gets here. But I guess he hasn't shown up for work this month apparently, because every time I call and show up personally, he's never there. I've done all the necessary paperwork, and now there holding my card hostage so I can't even use my extended plant count anywhere else. The extended plant count cost me $500, that they have now fucked me out of a full month of using it. Do not go here unless you want to wait in line for over 2 hours, just to get treated like shit. read more

Terrible! I came in and showed them my card on my phone. First it couldn't be a screenshot so I had to go to the website and show them it. Then I had to email them my card but it couldn't be a screenshot it had to be the actual pdf file. I explained that I don't know how to do that on my phone and was pretty much ignored. Then as I'm trying to figure it out the guy at the desk nonchalantly tells me the wait is an HOUR AND A HALF. There's two other people in the waiting room so I don't know where he got that figure from but there's no way I'm checking in then sitting around for almost two hours, regardless of how good the concentrates are. The entire experience really soured me on this location. I'm glad it worked for other people but I would honestly question their sanity to wait that long for a dispensary that can't even explain how to get a med card into their system. read more

After waiting over a hour to get in, the budtender was very rude. Was not helpful & got attitude when I asked questions about products. Also i was 2 days late to redeem my monthly gift for my EPC count and she refused to show any love. They are growing 36 plants for me and still give me attitude and show no love. I do not recommend signing your EPC over to them. Their rewards program is trash. Budtenders are very rude and there is always a reason long wait to get in. read more
