Our daughters started here when they turned 2. There is a separate classroom for 2 year olds and…read morethere are other classrooms for 3-5 year olds. We had nothing but good experiences here and highly recommend it. The teachers are very patient with the children, older children help younger children settle into routines, and the school even helps with potty training when the time comes. When our daughter started Kindergarten at the local elementary school, we found she was far beyond her classmates in math. This school prepared her well. Your child will take time to settle into the new environment. It took my oldest nearly six weeks. The school will work with you, so be patient and don't blame the school if your child isn't ready.

Let me save you the headache! This place is a freakinnn' mess…read more After essentially being pushed out just two days in, I was told I'd get a full refund, minus the two days my son was "in school", yeah.. ok. What I got instead was several weeks of back and fourth emails, and a check that was finally recieved via snail mail aka USPS. I thought: "FINALLY", cause... hey, we're talking a little over $1,800. I go to deposit it and lo and behold.. IT'S NOT SIGNED. Yes, seriously, they sent me an unsigned check. From there, I went back to the email thread, going back and forth a million times with accounting and random people who never introduced themselves. An aggressive email from a random staff member named Patricia, who never introduced herself or her role in the whole situation. I didn't receive any phone calls, no apology, no accountability. Weeks go by, and I don't receive another check, so I filed a dispute with my bank after attempting to resolve this for over a month. Guess what? I finally heard back from accounting. They tried to get me to cancel my dispute so that they could issue a check again. I said nope! Thankfully, a week or so later, my bank was able to refund me the entire amount after literally faxing them our email thread and the unsigned check. Please do not bring yourself or your children here. The staff here is unprofessional and incompetent and needs to brush up on their customer service. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

I went into this pregnancy wanting a completely different experience than my first. I had…read morepreviously had a C-section, and my hope was to have a natural birth and avoid another cesarean recovery--but I didn't even know if that was possible. Through my doulas, I learned about VBAC and finally felt empowered to explore that option. Because I have hip dysplasia, I was hesitant and unsure if my body would allow it. From the very beginning, they offered support, knowledge, and reassurance that helped me feel confident and open-minded to try something new, knowing I wouldn't be alone no matter how things unfolded. Despite the challenges I faced--including a 36-hour labor and moments where my hip dysplasia became difficult again--they were there every step of the way. They provided constant reassurance, emotional support, and hands-on physical comfort through massage and positioning that I truly couldn't imagine laboring without. In the end, I achieved my goal of a natural birth--something I never thought was possible. If I could go back, I would absolutely have hired a doula for my first birth as well. Not only did they support me, but they were also an incredible support system for my husband, guiding him on how to best help me and ensuring we were both nourished, informed, and prepared. Their care didn't stop after birth. Because I had challenges with breastfeeding, they made sure I received the lactation support I needed, while also checking in on both me and my baby. They truly went the extra mile to make sure I felt confident, supported, and cared for in those early postpartum days. Knowledge truly is power, and having that made all the difference. If you are considering a doula, I cannot recommend this team enough. They gave me an experience I will forever be grateful for.

The education in this program made a huge impact on my birth experience, and the meeting helped my work through my previous birth traumas from my first borns birth. Because of the prep and education I received through MBB, I was able to have a redemptive, uncomplicated, successful unmedicated birth. The tools, mindset shifts, and practical knowledge I gained played a major role in my empowering experience and I'm beyond grateful for this course and the confidence it gave me. Shout out to Shiela, Sophia, Jamie, and Corrine for the great insight and support you gave me prior to labor. Brooke hung on the phone and advised us while I labored, and Kaitlyn met us at the hospital just in time for baby's delivery. I appreciated her knowledge and communication during the hospital chaos. 10/10 recommend EVERYONE works with a doula!! And, Modesto Birth & Beyond is a great choice if you're in their service areas.

I have a grandson that has autism. He was diagnosed early. We know all the good and bad from having…read moreautism. We also know all the triggers that are associated with a melt down. I know that these children have to be main streamed into public school in the event you can't pay for private school. A lot of families have no choice but to enroll them into public schools. My concern is that I have noticed that teachers don't know much about autism. They know the technical terminology of autism. But they don't know the emotional and sensory side if autism. I'm not going to point out names of teachers because it's not a teacher issue. It's the whole school district issue. These kids are not just another payday on your books. They are individuals with deeper issues that professionally the school district can not deal with. I've seen my grandson talked down on. Things taken away from him because it bothered the teacher. But in return it calms his sensory nerves down. Little things like allowing them to wear a cap to school can improve their outlook even if it is a day at a time. How we sit in a chair and listen is normal to us but a child with autism finds comfort and will listen better if they have something that makes them calm as little as a cap or chewing on a bracelet. This school district needs more and better professional educators that deal with this issue. Believe me. This is not something that is going away. Better educate, listen to the kids and make the parents or grandparents more involved with their children education. I would love to see Ceres school district to be challenged. Thank you for your time. Donna
