Steer clear of this company!! If they were registered with the BBB I would give them a grade of "F." Audrey Standerfer in particular has been a nightmare to deal with--venomous unprofessionalism, mind-blowing rudeness, dishonesty and disrespectful are only a few descriptors of my experience w/her on more than one occasion. We've had to hire another company to come fix the horrible work by Standerfer Stoneworks b/c co-owner, Audrey Standerfer, refused to make it right saying it was our fault. What!?! We didn't template or cut the stone!! WTHeck?! The stonework, in places, looks like a glob of play dough that has been hand cut by a Kindergartner using a plastic knife. The overhangs are uneven, and when the fridge door is opened the sharp-cornered stone--which doesn't match the other corners the kitchen--has dented the stainless stainless steel door already. A standard sized stove won't even fit in the opening of the stone they cut b/c it's so crooked. The only option Audrey Standerfer gave us? "Pay for new stone to start over" (we already paid for ALL the stone they ruined plus a big chunk of the labor costs), "or take us to small claims, whatever you want to do." No refund was offered to help recoup the money we'd already paid them or help pay for the new co. we had to hire to fix the mis-cut stones. So, I asked for a partial refund at least (We've paid $4,345.00 to Standerfer Stoneworks for this job already.) Audrey interrupted me mid-sentence, completely shut me down, with a very rude and arrogant "No! We will not do that!" (Two employees in particular have been great, on the other hand.
