This frame shop and gallery is in the Blazy Mall on Sterling Hwy. I was informed by my interior designer that this shop does excellent framing work. They have a wide selection of frame styles and colors. I watched an employee framing a print while I was there. It appears to me that they do meticulous work. Frames & Things is a must stop for my family every time we're in town. Perfect spot to pick up an Alaskan souvenir for the art-loving visitor, I personally love their selection of Barbara LaVallee prints. I would love to have F&T where I live because they clearly are trustworthy if you need something framed. As I understand it you can also use the tools in their framing shop to diy, probably some training and maybe an appointment required. When you enter the mall from the parking lot they are all the way back to the right. read more

The staff and owner all took their time to really find the right mat to match the colors in the picture to get it to pop, as well as understood I was a photographer on a budget. Over priced and the owner can be grumpy and unprofessional. The ladies working there are fantastic however. They do a good job framing but the charges for material and their hours for framing art is pricey. read more
