I hate looking for parking. As if there isn't enough things to do in a day than to hover around and find that ideal spot. How about also feeling good enough to leave your vehicle with the amount of fare that needs to be paid? Oh brother.
In Little Tokyo, parking rates are bullshit, but this Standard Parking lot has to be one of the better lots around. There are a few places where you get limited time for parking, yet I usually tend to run over and end up paying a nominal fee anyway.
At this venue, you pay CASH only in advance for an all day cost of $5. After 4pm, it's $4. Even that sounds expensive to some, but in Sho-Tokyo, that's a steal. If you got friends in the car with you, just pass the hat around for a buck here and there. Sharing is caring, right?
There's no overnight parking, with hours of operation on Weekdays from 8am to 9pm. On Saturday - 12pm to 10:30pm and Sunday - 12am to 6:30pm. There are no IN's and OUT's so think ahead and make up your mind. Being wishy washy doesn't get you anywhere in life.
One more thing, this structure is located on East 2nd street, so read the signs carefully. There's a parking structure next door that charges $10, even if you enter by accident - no exceptions. With this part of LA, you just need to pay careful attention, since it's always better to be safe than sorry. read more
