    No working escalators

Parking here on a random weekday evening was easy. There was a ton of parking and since we entered after 5PM, it was a $9 flat fee. I felt like the parking price was good, considering that it was downtown Los Angeles. Minus two stars because the escalators did not work, which was not great, especially since I have joint issues, and it smelled soooooo gross, even through a mask. I would park here again if I had to, but hopefully I won't need to come to this area again anytime soon. Also, something to keep in mind - the clearance is very low, so if you have a high profile vehicle such as a large SUV or truck, you might not be able to park here.

The pricing for parking seems very fair for the convenience compared to the adjacent peer competitor outside lots. Parking is great, and cheap enough where if you were thinking of using public MTA transit to get here in fear of expensive parking, fret not, although I'm all for the eco-friendly trains and buses, I'm also an advocate for safety and life conveniences. The MTA can be sketchy, usually smelling like weed or urine and a bit of an urban jungle at time where you're wise to put your cell phone away (fear of snatching) and clutching onto your personal belongings as well as avoiding eye contact. So, if you're okay with driving and picking times where traffic isn't an issue, I'd recommend coming here to park if you're going to the Central Market, especially at night.

My girlfriend and I had reservations to stay at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel for a family wedding, but their parking fees were outrageous! My friend discovered that this nearby parking garage was a lot cheaper! It was only $20.00 per night flat rate! We were new to the downtown LA area, and had a hard time finding this place at first, mainly because the heavy LA traffic is so distracting and caused us to circle around a few times before we noticed an entrance. Once we entered, I was relieved to be safe and sound in a protected garage. We did have a hard time figuring out what area of the lot to park because there really wasn't sufficient signage to let us know what streets we needed to walk towards to get to our hotel. Staff members were somewhat helpful, but didn't quite understand what place we needed to get to with our heavy luggage in tow. We found ourselves walking in circles and ended up climbing steep stairs of escalators that didn't work. Once we found ourselves out in the open air and hotel in the horizon, life got a little less stressful. All in all it was still worth the lower parking fees compared to the hotel rip off of $80.00 per night!

I have read some terrible reviews (some even by people that I am friends with here on Yelp. The parking garage is between Los Angeles Central Library and The Last Book Store and directly below Pershing Square (where they hold FREE concerts in the park from the Spring until late August... Did I mention that they are FREE? Anyway, I failed to encounter the urine smell that I expected, I felt safe during my visit since Park Rangers were on hand to ensure that the day progressed in an uneventful fashion. I even stopped into their office to thank them. My only complaint is aimed toward the escalators. I parked here twice within a 3 week period and both times they either weren't running or only one of them was functional. I even made jokes, at their expense, that they haven't run since the Lincoln administration. Fix the escalator and I can easily see bumping the star-rating up a notch.

On Oct 1 no more 10$ parking for early birds it's not even an option. Disappointed they were the cheapest place near my job. Looks like I'll have to look somewhere else. Don't waste your time here ! OCT 1, 2018!!! Can never buy a monthly pass because they never have any either. Pointless.

They close this garage too often without notice--allowing only monthly clients only to enter.

They really need to have cameras in this garage. Someone damaged my car and did not leave a note while I was in the office working. I inspected the cars in front of mine and noticed yellow paint transfers and damage to the side of a dark grey car. I notified security who came on a bicycle and took a report and photos. He told me that there are no cameras. While security was writing his report, the owner of the grey car came and she said that she did not know that she hit my car. If she would have returned to her car before I did, I would have never found out who was responsible. The security man said that I could pick up a report the next day from the office upstairs. When I went to get the report--no one could find it. Fortunately, her insurance company paid for the repair. But when I went to the office for my report, I was informed that they have approximately 30 accidents in the garage every month reported. Management allows people to abandon and park in the middle of the aisle blocking other cars from getting into and out of spaces. People race to spaces in the narrow corridors here.

This was so easy and safe. It was $9 for the entire evening and my car was secured and parked safely. Highly recommend!

    Can you overnight park here?

Yes—I parked here overnight on a weekend in July 2019. I took the normal precautions but my car was fine the next morning.

Is this near the Westin Bonaventure Hotel? My daughter & her friend are staying at the Westin & they charge $50 for parking. Is it safe for them to park here & walk to the Westin?

It looks like it's only a few blocks away from Pershing Square, so it would be an easy walk. Whether it's safe has more to do with the time of day than anything else. During business hours, the walk along 5th street will be past open storefronts… Read more

That being said, ROW DTLA is a dreamscape when it comes to filming content and just catching city vibes in a safe space. Located near the Arts District this space of buildings used to be utilized for the textile industry. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward. Good for a short stay or half a day, if you're looking for things to do in LA proper, ROW DTLA is worth your drive.

It's literally right next to where Smorgasburg is being held, so we spent whatever little time we had there and didn't really explore the rest of ROW DTLA. Though I have to say that I was very surprised that were even still in LA. No graffiti, trash everywhere, smell of human wastes or anything. Very clean, modern, spacious, and calming even with the crowds of people there. Felt like an oasis in LA. Though that comes with the price, seeing the businesses here. Yes they look nice but it's giving hoity toity performative LA folks vibe and I can see why rent to live in LA is so high. Nothing really piqued my interest as a non normie, but I'm sure if you are one or like these kind of non franchise, off label places, for normie looking, better quality clothes, home goods, etc. this is for you.
