Joe installed my neighbor's fence (older woman, lives by herself). He overcharged her and did a poor job. It's loose and really crooked. Makes loud noises with even a little wind as it sways back and forth. I asked him if he could redo this part of the fence to make it straight but he wanted $1000. I told him this should be covered by some kind of warranty and he said something to the effect of "sorry the world isn't fair." I can't remember exactly what he said but really bad attitude. I wish I could give zero stars. Do not, I repeat, do not use this company. I paid $8,000 for a fence that didn't even last 6 months before falling apart. I reached out multiple times to get him to return and address the issues, but he stopped responding to me. He should be locked up because taking people's money for a service that is this poorly done and not responding to correct it should be criminal. Please spread the word not to use his services, because it will be money down the drain. Over charged for poor product and quality of installation. Never heard back when he would come fix places the fence are falling apart. I needed a gate around my shed and Standard Fence was the first two reach out. He was quick about giving an estimate and on time to do the job. However, upon completion of the job, his work was lazy and done haphazard. Instead of placing posts at the end of the shed to attached the fence, he attached the fence to the shed. I had to pay someone else to complete the job the correct way. You would think someone he did fencing for a living would have known how to secure a bracket to the concrete base to attach a post instead of attaching it to the shed. It looked ridiculous. Poor removal, even worse fence replacement. I hired Standard Fence in June of 2022 to replace an existing vinyl fence. Everything about the removal and the replacement was done in a rush and poorly. He left most of trash from the install for me to dispose of. That included spilled dry cement on my lawn and property. The old post were left above ground level. Gate doors dragged when opening and closing. No stabilizing aluminum insert bars were installed. Two bars that should have been placed across the inside of the gate doors were found hidden inside the post. After 6 months the fence started having blow outs at the post. I called and emailed the owner.. He promised to come out however, after months of empty promises, lack of communication, on his part, accompanied with a nasty attitude, I had to hire someone else to fix the problem. For the next year and a half. I continued to have blowouts at the post. The fence had begun to sag and the wind was causing it to move vigorously. I hired several handymen and spent hundreds of dollars in my attempt to keep it from falling down. In addition, I tried making a claim to my homeowners insurance but, I was denied and informed by them that the fence had been poorly installed, causing the constant blowouts. The new fence company that I hired to replace 50 percent of the fencing informed me of several cost saving shortcuts that were made in the first installation. To their credit, they saved as much of the old fencing that they could. The other 50 percent of the fence is not great but who can afford to replace an entire fence after just 2 years. Every time I look in my background I'm reminded of this awful, costly experience. This review was written 2 years after the install. The insurance companies accessment of the work was the final straw. Nothing about the removal or installation was and should ever be exceptable. What should have been a great addition and improvement to my property. Instead turned out to be a 2 year nightmare and a very expensive lesson. With this company, you roll the dice. read more

Job is mostly done, asked him to come back and correct 2 things, and he's been ducking and dodging me ever since. ( Very small things, very easy fixes for him, less than 30 mins of his time. ) If I knew how to fix them I'd do it myself. We booked Joe for fence repair. Our split post fence needed several rotting posts replaced along with two end posts and two rails. I emailed with Joe and sent him a video of the fence issues and he sent me a quote. We agreed and a couple of weeks later Joe and a helper came out to get the job done. About an hour or so after they arrived the new posts and rails were in and our gate was realigned. Joe did a great job and we would recommend his services.
