Capital Auto is a father and son shop the one in Greenville is ran by Shane Mclawhorn. My cars motor went backbout on Feb.22,2023, only two months of me getting it back in Dec. 2022. Shane tried to say bc there was no oil, but they later found out it was a oil leak. So I waited for two months and they never started to replcae my engine mind you Im under a warrenty with them and the motor co. They "lost" my reciept and suddenly went back on their word of repairing my vehicle bc I kept calling to see the progress. The owner Mr. Mclawhorn said he would do it in Ayden then he quickly renigged for no apparent reason. He rudly told me to get my car off his property. I did so and found another machanic in April, which was extremly hard bc of the warranty. When he finished he found that my motor went out do to neglegince of the machanics at Capital Automotives. The screws were not tightened on the flywheel which eventually broke off and dammaged my new motor! Now Shane is still saying hes not responsible for anything and threatening me with charges of harrassment bc I sent him pics of the damage they caused. The pictures dont lie and I really may end this in court if they dont comply with myself or the motor company. Even the people they work with on a daily basis talk about how rude they are and have adviced me to take it to court. The pictures are the flywheel and the bolts that came off bc no one went back to tighten the screws.

They did work, such as replacing a battery without asking. Thanks for asking permission before doing things, it's not a free service. or what we went for. Poor communication. My experience with this company was full of lies, tricks, poor communication and deception! And because I work so far away he took advantage of me. After my car was towed, I had to show proof ownership, showed him a Georgia title (which he knew didn't need a seal) charged me that over night fee, claimed he could fix my car after an agreement...Now my car went from being in a tow status into being in a mechanic service but after that there was no communication, no tracking in progress for about 5 weeks and then all of a sudden he says he doesn't want to fix it to which I found out from someone else that his mechanic quit (which he didn't disclose while explaining himself). That put me in a bind because I was temporarily stationed out west. So I attempt to communicate a time to pick up my vehicle and no answer.....and when I did get in contact with someone I asked if they had dispatch after hours and if they could let me get the car then ( to which they said yes and also allowed me to do earlier in my situation). Yet, all of sudden while communicating with AAA to coordinate with them a pickup they wouldn't allow it and told them they were closed after I just got their permission to do so. So that Monday Lucas, without a word (someone had to call him for me) told me that my car been impounded and was charged for the car sitting up over the weekend. Lucas is a coward because he never showed his face and a scam because he really wants your car. Yet, I complied and paid but he sent my car back with a busted tire which wasn't like that when towed and when I asked about it and is he going to pay for it "no response". STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
