I was informed that the restaurant was short staffed, and I certainly understand that staffing challenges can affect service. The food was decent and met expectations. Our server was courteous throughout the meal, and she was kind enough to bring us donuts at the end, which was a thoughtful gesture. However, she also asked us to leave a Google review when she brought the donuts. While I appreciate the gesture, I did not find it professional to offer a complimentary item while simultaneously requesting a review, as it can create the impression that the gift is tied to receiving positive feedback.

The price for the steak was great, but I feel it was a AA sirloin, fry portion was smaller than most establishment. By default they do not salt it. The meal is served with bbq sauce. Just a heads up, there is a covid surcharge of 3% on top of the bill price; if you're not cool with that just manually adjust your tip on your transaction. That's what I did. Dropped down a star for the covid surcharge. Not a fan of surcharge. Next is food price increase, followed by decreased portions. We are all impacted by covid, one upside is the greater take out business that increase your kitchen staff serve at higher turnover; so why complain over covid, its great for business!

Then I got to wait another 15 minutes for my server to greet me, but it was another 5-10 minutes before he took my order. It finally arrived a further 5-10 minutes later. When I was done my dinner of fatty roast beef, it took a further wait to get the bill. Note that this was on Wednesday when its kids eat free, so it was somewhat busy, in spite of the many open tables. One whole section of the dining room was not being used at all. This is a standard sized restaurant for this chain. They had only two servers handling every one. They were trying to keep up, but since the owner/manager is a cheap SOB, it's understaffed and unable to offer any service to customers beyond the McD standard. I will not be returning to this operation for dine in service and seriously considering never returning even for take out. And looking at the reviews for this and the other one in town, they both suck pretty hard. I can get rotisserie chicken at Costco and my local grocery store that is just as good and way less expensive! I'm done with them!
