There is an all day breakfast menu, which covers the basics, croque monsieur's and the like to full blown meals. The menus French feel is reflected in the look and feel of the restaurant/cafe. The staff are welcoming and not over bearing allowing you to seat yourself where you please. They have some interesting pictures on the walls which help to pass the time whilst you are waiting for your order. It very much has the feel of a place where all are welcome whether it is just for a quick sandwich or drink to those who are catching up with others or sheltering from the rain outside and even those who have taken up residency to do some work and exploit the free wifi they have available 9just remember to ask for the pass word). All in all without being spectacular this cafe has a good feel to it even if the food isn't the greatest but it is welcoming and staff don't harass you and let you of things at your own pace, so if you are every waiting for that bus which is not coming anytime soon perhaps a visit here might break up the waiting time.

The cafe is small and cosy on the inside, and its walls are lined with postcards from around the world. Outdoor seating in a lovely and peaceful courtyard is also available. Customers like myself come to Vesuvio for the friendly service, the atmosphere, and the coffee. It's not gourmet coffee, mind you, but it's fine. The area where Vesuvio falls short is with its food. It's not brilliant to be honest, but it is pretty fairly priced. The English breakfast is OK, as are the pastries. If you do order food there, keep it simple and shy away from the more elaborate dishes on the menu.

Tried a vanilla creme bun, a hazlenut, and a cute looking "boobie" bun that was raspberry rhubarb flavor. None of them were particularly good. The vanilla creme was loaded with creme for sure but it was pretty bland stuff. The hazlenut had a really mild hazlenut flavor. There raspberry rhubarb was gross quite frankly but I should have known better on that one. None of the base pastry was particularly special in any of them and would be exceeded by many local bake shops or even the local M&S. Ehhh. Not up to the buzz sadly.

This place is small and literally have to squeeze in between tables to be seated, it's ok as long as the food is bomb. I first ordered a glass of wine but was not sure about the fruity level of each and my waiter was nice and brought me 3 different kinds for me to try. My boyfriend ordered their veggie burger and I had the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and sides of mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. One hour later..... we finally got our entrees. My filet mignon was tender and juicy, like it can just melts in my mouth. My boyfriends veggie burger was so claimed the best veggie burger he ever had because the moisture the patty can hold. The Mac and cheese was a little watery then we like and the mash potatoes were not rich enough, maybe we should asked for truffle oil in it as well. All in all this Gordon Ramsay restaurant doesn't disappoint, we are looking forward to try some more of his other restaurants. Suggestion: Chef Gordon Ramsay please try impossible veggie burgers?!

The restaurant was quiet on this Monday night which worked in our favour as the service was very good, we were very well looked after. Their fattoush is very good here, the dressing is amazing. The cheese rolls and spinach fatayer I have had better however it was ok, the food came a tad cold. Their falafel is very filling as well! With just a few starter selections between two of us we got full pretty quickly!! So the portions are very good and generous! Their freshly squeezed orange and carrot juice mix was very good. We were so full, I did not try their dessert menu on this occasion. Although I won't be running back to this location either as it is not one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have tried in London. However it is definitely way better than the Westfield one so this one gets a thumbs up for that. I would also recommend going on a quiet day to ensure the service is good/better than usual!
