We hired Childress Restoration to soft wash, strip off the old stain, and reseal our loghome and…read moreshop. Soft washed in May, and didn't return until September. He had to soft wash again. Then he chemically stripped the house and building. The stripper also removed the paint from our gutters, drip edges,, and the finish off of all of door hardware. It stained the garage doors and all the other doors. Also all the outside lights were filled with the stripper water. As a result of all this, we had to have our gutters replaced, all doors repainted and hardware replaced, replaced the outdoor lights, had to take apart and clean all the storm doors. Needless to say we are really disappointed. It was a lot of money just to have it last less than 2 years. We do not recommend them to do a restoration on a loghome. They were not properly equipped to do this kind of job. We now have to start all over again. If you need someone to soft wash they are great for that.
