During my time in the North East, I found Stagecoach buses to be okay, the service provided was better than in my home of Greater Manchester, and the buses used seemed to be nicer and newer, with two bays, one for a wheelchair and another for a pram, as well as USB charging which considering this is a bus - is fantastic.
The drivers seemed average, bus like most other buses in NE, the buses were old fashioned in the way it had a manual rather than electronic ramp, I have only ever seen in London (in the UK at least)
The routes from Stagecoach were okay, they didn't seem as large as the main provider GONorth East, and unlike its' larger North East rivals, the buses didn't have much of a difference in terms fo appearance other than the destination and number on the front of the bus.
I'm struggling to comment further, this bus firm is okay, more information to address confusion on the stoppings of the bus perhaps through the use of technology and ensuring buses do run ontime with excellent service everytime are some improvements that need to be made, but fro now I don't feel Stagecoach North East deserves anything over a high two-star rating. read more
