I am very upset with the Boys and Girls club of Hernando County. This is in regards to the Day Care…read moreon Mariner Blvd. I am the one that signed my Granddaughter up for the daycare and filled out the paperwork. On several occasions when my daughter is trying to drop of her daughter at the daycare she has been approached and avised that she is dropping her off late?? There was nothing on any of the paperwork stating a drop dead time to drop off the kids. It only says from 7AM TO 5PM. My daughter works nights and does not get home until 8:30 am and rushes to drop her daughter off between 9-9:30. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. When she tried to drop off my Granddaughter this morning she was approched by a man that was rude telling her that "This is the last time you can drop her off late" she proceeded to tell him that she works over night and this is the earliest she can drop her off. He had her in tears. She took her daughter and left. She called me in tears. I was very upset to say the least as there was nothing in the paperwork that ever stated a drop dead time. She has been at other daycares and we never heard of such a thing. I immediately contacted the Boys & Girls club and demanded to speak to the person who is the head of all the daycares. He was not in so I left a message. I spoke with my daughter to get a description of the man and when I called the Boys & Girls club back .... guess what that rude and un-professional person was the head of the Daycares. I imediately asked to speak to a higher up in the organization an they put me throught to the CEO who of course did not answer but I left a message. I also called the school where the daycare is located to see if they had any rules as to the time we had to drop of the kids at daycare and he said there were none. So my poor daughter cannot get any sleep cause her daughter is home and she just got off working 12 hours and has to go back to work tonight for another 12 hour shift with no sleep. I do not recommend this daycare to anyone as also they just opened up in August and have alread are on their 2nd Director for this particular daycare and many teachers have left. Everytime my daughtere would drop my Granddaughter off she would cry. She never cried at any other day care. Good luck if you plan on taking your kids here I dont recommend it Terry Rivera
