lasers following us to a parking lot as we were already leaving / it was either a gun or taser pointed it at my camera a few times as well.

Terrifying -- but not in the way they intend This was my first Halloween celebration ever (family religion didn't allow it growing up) -- and it was an experience I'll never forget...for all the wrong reasons. We were a group of four, three of us brand new to haunted houses. We made it into the second "scare house" where it was pitch dark, lots of clowns and chainsaws -- basically chaotic, loud, and very little light. One of my friends got legitimately terrified and, in a reflex, hit what turned out to be a prop -- a fake body. Security even acknowledged it was a prop. Instead of calming the situation, the staff overreacted: they turned the lights on, stopped the workers mid-scene, and summoned 4-6 security guards to escort us out. It felt excessive and humiliating. As we were leaving, one guard pulled what looked like a taser and pointed a red laser beam at me -- the beam caught my eye and in that moment I genuinely thought he was pulling a gun. We hadn't refused anything or caused trouble; we were complying and trying to leave. Being followed to our car with a laser/taser pointed at us was terrifying. Everything was recorded -- I will be posting the footage to TikTok and Facebook so others can see how they handled a scared customer. If you want a spooky, fun night, this is not how you treat frightened patrons, especially first-timers. Horrible. Lol. Tip to management: train your staff to de-escalate, stop treating scared people like criminals, and don't intimidate guests leaving the property. Best bet pay with credit card so you can dispute their bs. It's $50 to be harassed .. not worth it. Don't consider the parking and super long lines VIP OR NOTA, no fans in the waiting line either.. just heat and rude staff. While being escorted one of the older security woman's was yelling "you don't treat our props like that !!!!" The fake bodies hanging from the ceiling.. The whole point of the scare House is jump scares you can't expect somebody to not be scared, especially as first-timers we were being followed before we even went in. I've never heard of someone getting lasers pointed at them and escorting for running into fake cloth bundled up like lol.. It was clear. They just wanted our money to kick us back out. Scam Scam Scam lol.

I came here with my boyfriend for opening weekend and it was AMAZING ! It was honestly the perfect time to come & it was surprisingly not crowded because everyone was at Universal/Orlando/etc. All the houses were well put together, the designs/decorations, actors, everything was *chefs kiss*. It's cool too because they have food trucks within the vicinity & they have a bunch of picnic tables for you to eat, drink & chill around... and when you don't even expect it coming the actors jump right at you LOL It is a little pricey BUT I am telling you if you're questioning if the money is worth it... IT IS! I can't wait for next fall !

This place is awesome! The scare houses are well put together and the actors scare tactics are well above par. We've been to Howl-O-Scream, A petrified forest, and Halloween Horror Nights for over 7 years, and this place always is the scariest!

Say yes to the interactive option, get glowy

I had such a great time! It was my first time attending and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The scare actors were awesome both in and out of the houses. My absolute favorite part was the paintball excursion where toy shot at zombies from a bus. It was so good! We did all the haunted houses and two of them had an option of interactive and that made the houses' experience completely different the second time around. We went on a weekday and were able to see and do everything more than once. I'd love to go back next year!

DO NOT GO! Updating my review, wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is not worth your time or money! Don't see how they haven't been sued or shut down already. We went last night and had an AWFUL EXPERIENCE . We will never been returning and will definitely be spreading the word about this place. Our first house was called breach it was okay nothing that great for the wait time. Then we went on the paintball zombie bus ride, not what I was expecting at all... the bus ride SMELLS HORRIBLE and is maybe 5 minutes long and only a few targets to even shoot at with the cheapest, smallest paintballs ever!! The staff on the bus are rude and just yell and scream the whole ride. Not worth the extra money, this attraction should be included in the ticket price! The next thing we did was another haunted house called ravenhill asylum and it was the last thing due to security KICKING US OUT!!! Once we finished the house and walked down the exit path there was over 5 security guards standing there accusing one of us of "slapping at least 3-4 of their actors" WHAT?! We just went through a house, have been here before and gone through every house no issue, and even been through haunted houses at Halloween horror nights before. We know the actors aren't allowed to touch you, and you can't touch them either. We never would do such a thing!! We PAID TO COME HERE AND ENJOY IT! They couldn't specify which one of us hit the actors, exactly how many we touched, or who they were! They never came out and identified themselves or us. They had no evidence or proof! They just came up with this out of no where! The security guards were not even in the house with us! I started looking into this after this happened because I was so upset and embarrassed how they just escorted us out of there for no reason! Apparently this happens a lot here!!! They accuse customers of touching their actors and just kick people out. If you can't accommodate so many people coming to your facility then you should do something about it!! Like hire more people, have more houses, have a cap of how many people can enter, something. Don't just kick people out when you start getting crowded. We will never be returning to this place again! ITS A SCAM!! Don't go and save your money!!!

Another visit to Scream-A-Geddon for 2022 and it was so much fun!!!! We hit every haunted house and my favorite is the bayou one. This year we tried Zombie paintball! It was awesome! Shooting zombies from a bus while it drove through the woods. The food was much better this year! Pulled pork sandwiches, fries, pizza, loaded nachos and more. We had the pizza and loaded nachos and for fun food it was good! We will definitely be returning in 2023. I have pictures from 2021 and added new 2022 ones!

I feel I was profiled as I was told I was trepassing and "refused to pay for parking" EVEN after I presented them with the parking ticket I had just paid for. After presenting the ticket and pleading my case to multiple different parking attendants and security, which was called to escort me out. I spoke with the manager who apologized; security also apologized. Apologies for things like this are kind words but the stress and traumatic experience had already occurred ruining my first experience at Screamageddon. Parking attendants are rude and unorganized. I went on a weekday to avoid the stress and disarray that crowds could cause but that was a fail. I suspect racial micro aggressions from staff throughout the park are present (none experienced with actors). The actual haunted houses were super fun, lines weren't too bad for a Thursday. I saw them all in about three hours. My favorite was the Bayou. Bring cash or a card; there is no apple pay or tap features on the registers.

My friend and I went on a Monday night and got the VIP fast passes which weren't needed because Monday was a slower night. We did all 5 of the haunted houses and I love that two of the houses gave the option of wearing a glow stick to be apart of the interactive experience. If you choose to wear a glow stick they will separate you from your friend and pull you into different rooms. I also really enjoyed that they don't rush you through the houses and they wait a few to let each group go alone. They have an area where you can go Axe throwing and a guy to make sure you know what you're doing. My friend and I got like 7 or 8 try's and we each we're able to hit the wall once which is great if you knew how bad we started. My favorite part was definitely getting on the bus to shoot Zombies with paintballs. I do wish this experience lasted longer but it was so much fun. They did have little food trucks. Something you'd expect at a local fair. I got fried Oreos and some lemonade. As for bathrooms you'll have to suck it up and use a Porta Potty so bring sanitizer with you.

I'm sad that they can't do the haunted trail anymore but they added the maze in its place. We went on the Hay Ride first & it's longer than I expected with many areas to see! When it ends you get put in the maze. It's a tad dark to see all the amazing props so I used my phone to light it up a bit! We wanted to see the entire thing & the exit was hidden pretty well! The cemetery area was really cool a lot of effort went into the details there. I didn't eat there but they have carnival type food like yummy corn dogs & funnel cakes! The best part is the main haunt! It's spaced out & your arrival is announced. It's 3D and messes with your vision a bit! You have to navigate finding curtains and pushing on walls to get around. They even had a little kid vampire kicking walls and scaring away! It was really fun! Exit into another area where they have more really cool scenery and the chain saw guy chasing people out! I'll be back next year and thank St Angelus for what they do!

The 1st house was okay, but the theme was a little strange. It was about the three princesses and the scare actors seemed to want to talk about the torture and insult us more, but we had to usher through the house. I think it was the weakest, but goofy. The 2nd house was the best with a surgical theme. There were people in sheets in a room with a stroke light, a dirty bathroom with a scare actor talking to himself through a mirror, and lots of gory effects. The 3rd house was about blood fairies which has a fun walk through the woods with some cool props. It was a little annoying on this one, just because the group in front of us was walking extremely slow. We eventually caught up to them, so we tried to slow down to stagger our groups more, but the group behind us caught up to us. We all were kind of clumped together. It kind of messed up the flow, but the effects were all very fun. The venue is normally great at timing so groups all get a chance to go. They also have some food and drinks for purchase at reasonable prices. Parking is a breeze and the ticket process is relatively easy. The bag policy was a bit confusing though since it said online that you could bring a fanny pack, but then upon arrival it said no fanny packs. I guess being a clear tote if you need, which is allowed.

The food and drinks were good and very inexpensive. $6 nachos, $8 loaded nachos, $5 corn dog, $3 tacos, $3 bottles of water, $9 local wine and ciders. We got their annual vip pass for $200 each. That's seemingly expensive but you get admission to each night of the event, front of the line with no one in front of you. Regular admission was much cheaper. You also get access to their haunted Christmas, haunted Valentines, and haunted wild West events. I think a regular 1 time admission may run you around $30. I spoke to the person who runs the event. He was humble and very much concerned that everyone was happy. I'm happy to support them. Check them out if you're a Halloween fanatic in the area.

She purchased our tickets directly from the site https://fearreach.fearticket.com/frontapp/book/ticket for $20 each and they also offer two add-on's, (1) the Double creature feature $15; and (2) the speed pass for $10 more. We purchased the $20 ticket, which grants you access to the park and 3 haunted houses. Things to know: - The park is only open on Friday and Saturday nights from 7-11pm. The park modifies its days/hours near the end of the month to be open on Thursday thru Saturday Nights (24th and 31st) until 12am. - The park is in a large open field out in the middle of Tavares. If you have trouble seeing at night you might want to bring your own flashlight because there is not a lot of lighting to and from your vehicle. - Although you are entering a somewhat enclosed park know that it is all outdoors. Dress appropriately for the humidity (it was muggy as hell), for walking in muddy grass and puddles, and prepare for mosquitos. - There are several osculating fans in the bar area which help but no air conditioning to be found other than in the restroom. - The only running water I could find was in the restroom and it was most likely well water from the property (strong sulfur odor). Bring your handy wipes! First off, I have to say that all the staff here are lovely! Every staff member we met were friendly, had a positive attitude, and truly cared about the job they were doing. I can only image that their managers treat their employees well and appreciate that they have such good people working for them. We had dinner before we arrived here, so we didn't purchase any of the food inside. It is nice to know that there are several food vendors available if you are hungry. The Gringa Mex food truck, and a BBQ vendor, along with one other vendor selling sweets and fried items. We did however purchase several drinks at the main bar and prices were competitive with one of the other bars on site. I was drinking Jai Lai IPA's and they were $6 each, not bad. There are several fun activities like the ring toss and ax throwing which cost more but all proceeds go to a good cause. Additionally, there was a Terot reader, a Henna tattoo artist, and several other merchants on site. All very cool; however, save them for after the Haunted houses to ensure you see them all. There was a very good band called The Dismembered playing during the evening. Our friend is a neighbor with one of the band members, which made the event that much more fun since we were able to meet and hang out with the band for a while. The haunted houses were pretty good. My favorite was Grimoire Manor, second best was Bloodline Barn, and third was the Chainsaw Chase. The first two are more of an actual haunted house, pretty much what we were looking for. The Chainsaw Chase is pretty much your group being quickly corralled (chased) through the haunted house by scary characters with chainsaws. It goes quick, so its over before you know it. I wish there was more characters inside and other creepy things to look at, then maybe have the chainsaw guy chase me out toward the end. Something to mention about the haunted houses is - two items jump out at you in the first two houses. One is this creepy dude that is hidden in a bed and the other is a tall dark Grim Reaper looking dude that's on a pedestal near a walkway. They are pneumatically controlled, which is awesome but they come very close and if I was the lead of our group, they would have hit me in the head because I am so tall. So just be prepared if your tall like me. All-and-all, we had a blast checking this place out. It was our first time here, and it was worth the $20 to me; I have to say, we will be back. If you are looking for another great place to enjoy the Halloween festivities, I highly recommend checking Fear Reach Scream Park out, and be sure to bring your friends, it is so much more fun with a group.

My friend had 2 extra tickets so she invited me & hubs to join her & her husband with another couple on the Saturday night after Halloween. As I had never heard of this haunt, located at Grand Prix Fun Center, my expectations were low. And then seeing tents set up on the asphalt, with no *victims*, I was skeptical. But my hesitation was completely unfounded. The individual haunts were very dark, with plenty of hidden nooks for surprises. The actors at each tent were fully in-character, & the creepiness was non-stop. For me, the unexpected scares give the best adrenaline-rush thrills, and each of these haunts met that standard. Get Screaming is new to Grand Prix Fun Center (sounds like it was previously at the Florida State Fairgrounds), and staff told us they were very successful in this location this year. The ride is family-friendly, so kids and adults can enjoy it alike. I never rode this one as a kid, only as an adult, and I quite enjoyed it. It just has a lot of original charm and appeal. The ride is old and opened concurrently with Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971. While updates have been made over the years, I've heard that the original magic of the ride has stayed true to the original. We had Lightning Lane passes on a non-holiday Monday around 1:05 PM and experienced about a five-minute wait. The regular line was really long. There are lots of memorable moments. Highlights for me included the seance room with Madame Leota, the ballroom with the dancing ghosts (neat special effects; reminds me of Super Castlevania IV), and the cemetery with old-school animatronics. I like the song, "Grim Grinning Ghosts," composed by Buddy Baker in 1969. There are lots of fun details and Easter eggs inside and outside of the ride. Admittedly, I didn't notice that the paintings stretched. I was a bit disoriented in the "elevator" room and didn't know what to expect. I thought maybe the room was rotating. My wife and I got stuck for a few minutes in one of the "Doom Buggies" in the cemetery. That experience was actually fun and we didn't mind it. It gave me extra time to take in and appreciate the sights. Shortly after getting home from this trip to Disney World, we watched the movies Haunted Mansion (2023) and Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021) on Disney+. These are movies based on the ride. The original version of this ride at Disneyland in California is different. The Disneyland version is shorter and the outside looks like an antebellum mansion as opposed to the Disney World version's Gothic revival architecture. I recommend checking out Cinemassacre's September 2025 video review of The Haunted Mansion on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nQguaXmUzk
