My fist time at Scream-A-Geddon and I enjoyed it. This place is top notch and done very well. From the layout to the attraction and the actors. I loved how the actors walked around and scared you even in non attraction areas. Mike Myers was everywhere and the creepy girl dragging the doll was my favorite. No one broke character and they were professional. No touching you unless you choose the glowing necklace in the attraction. Each of the 5 attractions were unique and had its own theme. The crazy circus was nuts. Fantastic art BTW. We went on the Wednesday before Halloween and it got pretty packed. You could see how long the lines could really get based on the markings. I def suggest going mid week. Overall, we had a nice time. Now I will say the price tag can add up, especially since you have to pay for parking. I suggest getting the standard parking and also look for discounts if u can find them. We saved a couple bucks going mid week. And we didn't even let the rain toward the end dampen our spirits. I came here with my boyfriend for opening weekend and it was AMAZING ! It was honestly the perfect time to come & it was surprisingly not crowded because everyone was at Universal/Orlando/etc. All the houses were well put together, the designs/decorations, actors, everything was *chefs kiss*. It's cool too because they have food trucks within the vicinity & they have a bunch of picnic tables for you to eat, drink & chill around... and when you don't even expect it coming the actors jump right at you LOL It is a little pricey BUT I am telling you if you're questioning if the money is worth it... So this year was not as scary as previous years and the actors were more laxy dazy rather than enthusiastic. They really need to do something about the general admission lines that take 30-50 minutes to get through. We almost didn't get to do all of the scare houses due to the long wait times. We must've went to some of the scare houses while the actors were on break, because we would only see one at the entrance and another at the end. Terrifying -- but not in the way they intend This was my first Halloween celebration ever (family religion didn't allow it growing up) -- and it was an experience I'll never forget...for all the wrong reasons. We were a group of four, three of us brand new to haunted houses. We made it into the second "scare house" where it was pitch dark, lots of clowns and chainsaws -- basically chaotic, loud, and very little light. One of my friends got legitimately terrified and, in a reflex, hit what turned out to be a prop -- a fake body. Security even acknowledged it was a prop. Instead of calming the situation, the staff overreacted: they turned the lights on, stopped the workers mid-scene, and summoned 4-6 security guards to escort us out. It felt excessive and humiliating. As we were leaving, one guard pulled what looked like a taser and pointed a red laser beam at me -- the beam caught my eye and in that moment I genuinely thought he was pulling a gun. We hadn't refused anything or caused trouble; we were complying and trying to leave. Being followed to our car with a laser/taser pointed at us was terrifying. Everything was recorded -- I will be posting the footage to TikTok and Facebook so others can see how they handled a scared customer. If you want a spooky, fun night, this is not how you treat frightened patrons, especially first-timers. Horrible. Lol. Tip to management: train your staff to de-escalate, stop treating scared people like criminals, and don't intimidate guests leaving the property. Best bet pay with credit card so you can dispute their bs. It's $50 to be harassed .. not worth it. Don't consider the parking and super long lines VIP OR NOTA, no fans in the waiting line either.. just heat and rude staff. While being escorted one of the older security woman's was yelling "you don't treat our props like that !!!!" The fake bodies hanging from the ceiling.. The whole point of the scare House is jump scares you can't expect somebody to not be scared,especially as first-timers we were being followed before we even went in. I've never heard of someone getting lasers pointed at them and escorting for running into fake cloth bundled up like lol.. It was clear. They just wanted our money to kick us back out. 2025 Review: Skip it We just came from Scream-A-Geddon and it's definitely a skip this year and this is why. Pros. 1) The staff is very friendly. No issues there. Everyone was welcoming and wanting you to have a great experience. They put a decent amount of effort into the sets and haunted houses. Cons) 1) Parking: $17-22 for parking is just.....wild. 2) The atmosphere is blah. Just walking around it doesn't even really feel like a Halloween event in terms of the atmosphere. The characters are kind of just standing around. Many of the characters are pretty much the same...clown masks. The music is ehhh. Just feels dead and not in the good Halloween way. 3) We purposely did not buy the VIP to experience it how the majority of people would experience it. Even with short lines, the regular line took an extremely long time. The people controlling the flow use these little timers and they let a small group in with an extremely long wait in between letting in another group. I understand you need pacing but it was really long. I thought maybe they were having issues inside but it seemed to be the consistent theme at each house. I guess they will work that out as the days go on. 4) The haunted houses themselves are just average. There is a mental patient hospital one that is somewhat fun because the workers follow you and make it fun but other than that, each haunted house is boring and forgettable. Even with the green neck ring where they take you, it's still ehhhh. 5) Only pay for the lowest tier of zombie shooting. It only lasts a few minutes so paying for more shots is pointless. I had such a great time! It was my first time attending and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The scare actors were awesome both in and out of the houses. My absolute favorite part was the paintball excursion where toy shot at zombies from a bus. It was so good! My friend and I have been coming to Scream-A-Geddon for 4 years now and this was by far my least favorite experience. The houses were fun but not worth an over hour wait per house- especially considering the lines were not even that long. Anyone who approached with a VIP/fast pass got let in immediately meanwhile people who still paid $50+ were stuck waiting. And I understand that part of the fun of screamageddon vs HHN is that screamageddon isn't as "big" of an event so they stagger groups, letting in one group at a time and waiting a bit for the next group- but it seems to me like they extended the staggering to an unnecessary amount of time. There is 0 reason why the line wouldn't move an inch for over 30 minutes- and half the time when the line did actually move, it was only because people in front of us got tired of waiting and left. The scare actors were amazing and I genuinely don't like leaving bad reviews but we got there at 8:30 pm and didn't leave until almost 1 am and we only made it through 3 houses- and it wasn't any more busy than it was when we've gone previously. I do Howl-O-Scream and Halloween Horror Nights Every year. I honestly think I prefer Scream-a-Geddon to those! My boyfriend and I had so much fun. They only let a few people into the houses at a time, so you don't miss any scares! It's like you're in the house only with your group! The lines aren't nearly as long as the more popular Halloween events either. If you hate lines, do what my boyfriend and I did and get the VIP pass to skip the lines. It's DEFINITELY worth it. We hit all 5 houses. I loved that they were more than just jump scares. They had a Neón house which was 3D and a lot of other cool elements that I won't spoil for anyone. We also paid extra to do the zombie paintball. It was a little shorter of an experience than I was hoping for, but it was still super fun! You ride a bus around and shoot at zombies! They have a plethora of food trucks to choose from for food. We had the pizza which was a great deal and it was delish! DO NOT GO! Updating my review, wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is not worth your time or money! Don't see how they haven't been sued or shut down already. We went last night and had an AWFUL EXPERIENCE . We will never been returning and will definitely be spreading the word about this place. Our first house was called breach it was okay nothing that great for the wait time. Then we went on the paintball zombie bus ride, not what I was expecting at all... the bus ride SMELLS HORRIBLE and is maybe 5 minutes long and only a few targets to even shoot at with the cheapest, smallest paintballs ever!! The staff on the bus are rude and just yell and scream the whole ride. Not worth the extra money, this attraction should be included in the ticket price! The next thing we did was another haunted house called ravenhill asylum and it was the last thing due to security KICKING US OUT!!! Once we finished the house and walked down the exit path there was over 5 security guards standing there accusing one of us of "slapping at least 3-4 of their actors" WHAT?! We just went through a house, have been here before and gone through every house no issue, and even been through haunted houses at Halloween horror nights before. We know the actors aren't allowed to touch you, and you can't touch them either. We never would do such a thing!! We PAID TO COME HERE AND ENJOY IT! They couldn't specify which one of us hit the actors, exactly how many we touched, or who they were! They never came out and identified themselves or us. They had no evidence or proof! They just came up with this out of no where! The security guards were not even in the house with us! I started looking into this after this happened because I was so upset and embarrassed how they just escorted us out of there for no reason! Apparently this happens a lot here!!! They accuse customers of touching their actors and just kick people out. If you can't accommodate so many people coming to your facility then you should do something about it!! I went here with all of my coworkers, provided by my Boss for one of my coworkers birthdays. At first, we were having a good time, but it was until we went to the second haunted house called breach. Upon exiting we were waiting for everyone else only to see a woman and her husband walking out and the woman looking very agitated and sounding mad by the time the security guards had walked over the woman was gone, and my coworkers were coming out. There were five people in the group of my coworkers behind us and one of them got kicked out because they had cleaned that she had assaulted one of the scare actors, no proof, other than their word and no investigation was held poor judgment and poor attitudes. 0 stars read more

Visited scream a geddon 4 years in a row. After visiting this year we will never come again. They added fast pass, they clear that line before allowing one general admission in. Spent over two hours in one line to see a haunted house. My 50 year old husband almost got kicked out for trying to order a beer and not having his ID gray hair and obviously old. The security is on a power trip, and ridiculous. For the price of tickets to be threatened to be removed ten minutes after entering. Not worth the risk, and the lines not worth the time. My friend and I went on a Monday night and got the VIP fast passes which weren't needed because Monday was a slower night. We did all 5 of the haunted houses and I love that two of the houses gave the option of wearing a glow stick to be apart of the interactive experience. If you choose to wear a glow stick they will separate you from your friend and pull you into different rooms. I also really enjoyed that they don't rush you through the houses and they wait a few to let each group go alone. They have an area where you can go Axe throwing and a guy to make sure you know what you're doing. My friend and I got like 7 or 8 try's and we each we're able to hit the wall once which is great if you knew how bad we started. My favorite part was definitely getting on the bus to shoot Zombies with paintballs. I do wish this experience lasted longer but it was so much fun. They did have little food trucks. Something you'd expect at a local fair. I got fried Oreos and some lemonade. As for bathrooms you'll have to suck it up and use a Porta Potty so bring sanitizer with you. read more

Here celebrating a birthday in a work group. Went in the second haunted house, a woman in front of us pushed or hit the scare actor in the Breach Haunted house- security ran after us instead. We were slowly walking through the haunted house, and they singled out my co-worker that loosely looked like the woman who did the offense. My coworker was then asked to leave and ejected from the park without questioning. Head of security Adam would not listen to us trying to explain what happened, and told me to get on Screamageddon.com to air my grievance. My boss spent $1,000 on these tickets and were asked for one of my people to leave without questioning or investigation. My boss asked if we could have a Chaperone to remain with us in the park, to which I was told we could all leave. Awful experience. I feel I was profiled as I was told I was trepassing and "refused to pay for parking" EVEN after I presented them with the parking ticket I had just paid for. After presenting the ticket and pleading my case to multiple different parking attendants and security, which was called to escort me out. I spoke with the manager who apologized; security also apologized. Apologies for things like this are kind words but the stress and traumatic experience had already occurred ruining my first experience at Screamageddon. Parking attendants are rude and unorganized. I went on a weekday to avoid the stress and disarray that crowds could cause but that was a fail. I suspect racial micro aggressions from staff throughout the park are present (none experienced with actors). The actual haunted houses were super fun, lines weren't too bad for a Thursday. This was the Fifth year I attended the event! It is so great to see that every year they make chances for the better ! This year they have physical and great restrooms, it is a whole new building, brand new! I was really happy with that! There is a new house this year as well! But my two favorite ones are still there! The Rage 3D. With neon lights, and lots of clowns! The other one of my favorite is Bloodwater Bayou, which is in the woods! You walk inside the forest. They have foodtrucks with burgers, pizza, tacos! They also have beer options. You can upgrade your tickets to with fast pass and cut the lines. It is very useful. The Zombie Paintball is really fun! I would give more stars if I could! Scream-A-Geddon was well worth the 1 hour drive. Parking was easy, lines were not too long, and scare actors were so good! I've been to horror nights, howl o scream , and other haunts and have not been nearly as impressed as I was with this horror park. The scare actors deserve a raise. They were scaring us and talking with us all night and added so much to the experience. Not only that but the haunted house attractions were great too. I was genuinely scared. The houses where they can interact with you were the best. They give you a glow necklace so they know they can take you. Zombie paintball is also a must! The beer selection is also A+ . They had night owl, space dust, ciders, and a lot of other options. It was a little pricey though. $32 for 2 beers. There's also different food trucks too so you won't go hungry! Hard to get to from Orlando but still fun... Very campy kind of place. Old school slasher movie style... Fun houses. No touch unless you put on a glow necklace they offer for free... Beer and some flavors alcohol drinks are sold. There are some food trucks inside. The bathrooms were real bathrooms and not bad.... We went on Halloween Night. It was not too busy but busy enough... The Zombie Paintball Shooting was fun but our bus went too fast and there needed to be more Zombies. Buy the smaller package here or you won't shoot all your paintballs... This is hard to find these days so we supported it no matter what... The park is worth the price. We did not need any speed pass on the night we went. Get there early and beat the lines... Tickets were already $40 and weren't any cheaper online. I don't get to do paintball a lot bc I do a lot alone but shouldn't the paintball burst....even when I hit the person the paintballs they gave remained round. Also heads up to the planners or staff...if there is a solo guest you don't put them into a house solo you add them to another group, it will mess up your timing putting someone solo in. This place is overhyped. The people who run this place need to go to South Florida Fairgrounds Fright Nights and see what an actual Midway and food court can look like even on the same budget. ARRIVE EARLY! And beware of the extremely high prices for VIP. We arrived at 9pm (they open at 7pm) to a very crowded parking lot and event. Normal but we didn't know that we'd wait 2.5 hrs to see one house! OMG so frustrating felt like I was at Disney! We quickly rushed to see the 2 other attractions with little time to spare (the asylum and demons house). The attractions were very detailed and pretty good but not super scary. They could do a better job scaring visitors and jumping out at you. They offer glow sticks that could be worn if you want to interact with the actors or not at all. We interacted with a patient at the asylum and had a dance party, the best part of the night). If you're going there enjoy it to the fullest! Then we walked over to the 3D clown house with lots of time to sprite, and a decent line. We waited maybe 15 minutes and saw 3 clowns outside the attraction while we were on line waiting. We also saw a very realistic looking Freddy Kruger outside the house as well and some other scary looking guy. We were looking forward to the scares inside to come but not one person came out, yelled, jumped in front of us...nothing. Literally no one was inside to scare us. Where did they go and why were they outside the house is unknown. Talk about slacking on the job! We walked next door to the next attraction and a rope had closed off the entrance reading closed and it was 12:53am. With about 10 people waiting to enter. Very disappointed since we spent over $200 for 3 general passes. Fights broke out while people were waiting in line and the bathrooms were beyond gross! Bring tissue with you just in case. Make sure you wear sneakers because it's very dusty and dirty out there in the woods. Parking admission is $13 and there's a paintball attraction to shoot zombies with paintballs but we didn't get to participate since we waited so long in that one line. Definitely the best horror park in Florida! Beats out Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-o-scream every year. They go all out on scaring you the minute you walk into this place! There is no zone where you are safe and that's the best part. I saw people scared coming out of the bathrooms, getting food and waiting in line for their next haunted house! We showed up when the park opened and made it through all the houses, participated in the Zombie Paintball Ride and Axe Throwing! My favorite house this year was the Rage 3D house where my boyfriend and I were sent in alone and terrified, great job to the designers of the houses and the scarers We have went the last 3 years and will continue to go! Since haunt season is in full swing I needed to get my scare on . I decided to bring my Niece and her best friend with me and we had a great time. We arrived round 7:30 so at that time the only house open was the 3D house. They do it right, with a couple of good distortion areas. Some of the actors were lacking passion but I'm sure on busy nights, they bring it. The 2nd thing we did was the hayride. I'm generally not a fan of hay rides as I don't think they fit Florida as a theme. Especially when themed as Old West. Over all it was fun, though the zip liner scare actors weren't up and running. I missed that element, but I was very grateful that we weren't packed like sardines on the flatbed The third house we did was one of the two interactive houses. I chose to wear the necklace that gave permission, while my niece and her friend chose not to. I really didn't get bothered by the folks in this maze. A few of them touched my shoulders, but I wasn't pulled into any small rooms, no one tried to cut my hair or anything like that. Those are thing I saw happening. The fourth maze we did was Black pool Prison. Again, I wore the interactive necklace. Here the actors were all engaged, all playful and very on point. I had a great time with these fellas. Especially #PrettyRicky. The final maze was the out door path, lit by tiny lights and of course your camp light. It is not my favorite path, but it wasn't a bad one. I don't like it mostly because the ground is uneven and one of my party had a sprained ankle and the uneven terrain caused her some difficulty, that combined with the darkness made it hard to see, not scary. Scream-a-geddon is not what it once was. The first two years that I went were 2017, and 2019. Both times it was worth the money as the haunts were packed with live actors and were well-put together/organized. I would say the exact opposite for 2021. After going tonight, I can say that they hardly had ANY real actors in the houses. A lot of animatronic stuff, but if that's what I knew it was going to be coming in, I'd have chosen Busch Gardens - at least there I could have went on rides in addition to experiencing sub-par haunts. The ticket prices now are almost the same. Very disappointed that the hayride was removed - the new BloodWater Bayou attraction was hardly different than Dead Woods was. Demon's Revenge had maybe 2-3 actors throughout; absolutely terrible. Rage 3D has been what it was since they opened.. nothing's changed there. Lastly, Ravenhill Asylum was weak. Just flat out weak. Major disappointment and I will not be going back again. Based on other reviews I've read, it seems safe to conclude that the management of this place treats the workers like crap, underpaying and undervaluing them. By doing that, they have lost both quality and quantity. Hope to see them turn this around and get Scream-a-geddon back to its old self. But until then, do not waste your money here. read more

Had an amazing time visiting scream a geddon (2022). it was my first time going and I was impressed . The haunted houses were amazing and everyone was in character . I had more fun at this event than I did at Halloween horror nights ! Also enjoyed the zombie paintball it was something fun and different to do ! There were lots of "food truck" style options and craft beers to choose from while at the event. read more

I absolutely loved this! Halloween is my favorite holiday, and having a chance to go through Scream-A-Geddon was a super-awesome treat. I have been to Halloween Horror Nights in years past, and I liked this a lot more! It's not quite as polished , which I feel lends to the creepy factor (but is very professional, with thorough, convincing sets and dedicated actors). Sometimes, the HHN attractions feel so staged, whereas Geddon actors make it in-your-face real (way more than I've ever seen) with lots of extra surprises. Great talent! Plus, I LOVED the interactive opt-ins--do them! My rank for the attractions: #1 Blackpool Prison (interactive) This is the darkest, most immersive storyline (especially if you do the interactive). It is also physically dark, and there were times I wasn't sure if I was going forward or backward, and periods where I was alone for minutes after being kidnapped--except for the inmates. The actors are amazing and seemed to really enjoy having a full-on conversation without ever breaking character. My fiancé said I came out several minutes after the group with which I started--so cool. #2 (tie) Dead Woods The fact that they let visitors wander down an uneven woodland path in the almost-pitch-black of night is amazing. I loved it. There are beat-up shacks with various characters spread out throughout the path, and they seem to materialize from nowhere. Even though this isn't an interactive one, the characters will still get in your personal space. Creepiest part? Some bearded woodsy character sniffing my shoulder! Shivers.... :) #2 (tie) Bedlam 3D This one is so different from the rest that it's almost hard to rank in the same list. I think I said "whoa" a thousand times in here! It is a psychedelic, blacklight-glowing, 3D fun house with creepy clowns. Wear the glasses and prepare to be transported to a whole different universe. Amazing! #4 Cursed Hayride Fantastic ride through an old-time Florida-style frontier land, including moonshine and raw meat. The ride (pulled by a surprisingly quiet tractor) takes you into various scenes with a creepy cast of characters. They include some fun, unexpected twists. #5 Infected (interactive) Zombies. This one felt the most "walk-through," especially with all the outside tunnels (which I appreciate, since it lengthens the experience and lets more visitors be involved at the same time). The interactive pull-asides were very short, and I always found my group again right after. The house was decorated perfectly, and the actors were very convincing. 1) Get the VIP pass. We were there for just over 2 hours with VIP. It is good for one use at each attraction; after that, you can go through as much as you want in General Admission. 2) Wear good sneakers: the ground is real ground, including unevenness and squishiness after rain. 3) Go interactive. Turn in the necklace afterward for the next people! 4) Go early! It gets busier as it gets later. 5) Bring $10 cash for parking. 6) Just go already! read more

This place is Awesome, I mean what's not to like. 5 scared attractions 1 of them is a hayride through the old western. You get clowns, prisoners, hillbillies and infected. All are there own kind of scare. What a awesome night and the food truck there was amazing. The BBQ sandwhich (Yummy). Cheese fries one of the best thus far, not bad for a food truck. The lemonade well we had and made better. Truth be told you come here for scares and fun and our experience with the Mrs. was fun and more fun. I even jumped once or twice. So if you want to experience some scares and laughter this place is for you. No kiddies unless they live for horror. Love the fire pits which we brought the s'mores off the food truck (Amazing Idea).
