Just beware of the one way entrance as it can be challenging to navigate through the paved maze.

I've even dedicated whole birthdays - to visiting grocery stores. Perusing well stocked aisles - especially when the words 'organic' and 'natural' grace them - is where I often get my dopamine highs :) Recently Safeway has been serving up some solid grocery store finds. Their berry selection has been 'berry' good. In fact their blueberries are some of the best around. I will often stock up on multiple cartons and will even freeze some of them for cold fruity weekday snacks. In addition to carrying solid berries - their produce selection in general is varied and reliable. I still adore Grocery Outlet and many of the other quality grocery stores in and around the area - but when I have a basic shopping list - I know that Safeway knows what's up. Though the current handleless paper bags are definitely not serving. Anyone. Trust.

Several of the aisles were bare and we noticed that they raised the price of some of their goods. The new pricing may be to help them pay for the cost of the remodel - but, why remodel only to raise the prices and make it difficult for customers to navigate the aisles? Even the staff have trouble pointing out where the things are when asked. This is especially hard to grasp when our economy is at its worse times for the past several years. We're going to have to tighten our belts even more... and find a new grocery store to shop at. Sad!

They have a substantial amount of groceries, so you could buy supplies for your AirBnB as well. The store is very clean and maintained. There is a bathroom in the back by the beer for customers. I do not necessarily buy gas here because it's expensive (and rightly so, it's one of your only options - Crane Flat is another option, and that's not going to be cheaper). Given the influx of visitors from all around the world, staff is always polite and helpful. Lines can be very short or very long depending on who else has pulled up.
