Cast members have both local roots and haIl from NYC. Everyone of them is a professional. The theater itself has comfortable seating and has enough rise to accommodate even a large person sitting in front of you and you can still see the stage. No bobbing your head from side to side to see the action. As a 5'4" woman I usually have trouble with this at other theaters.

There's also a courtyard you can sit in if you arrive extra early and the weather is nice. The folks who volunteer here are super nice and helpful. The line up of acts is mostly tribute bands, but I must say they are of the highest quality of musicians. I just saw the real thing, an incarnation of Emerson, Lake and Palmer which was the original drummer and founding member , Carl Palmer, with two very talented guitarist who accompanied him on the classic ELP songs. A video background with the original ELP played behind them. Not only were the two young musicians fantastic but at 76, Carl Palmer did a 10 minute drum solo that was mind blowing! At my last visit there was a disruptive woman shouting in the back of the theater. So much so she was interrupting the performers. Security came and took her out much to the applause of the audience! The other nice thing is easy access. No driving to Pittsburgh and paying ridiculous parking rates. And there are plenty of good restaurants around the area to dine in ahead of the show. You should try it out when you see one of their ads and there's a band you like playing there. My only negative is that they don't support adding the tickets to a virtual wallet. You have to print out the ticket or go to the box office to get them. Maybe soon they will be able to update that.

The theater hosts a variety of events like concerts and musicals. The seating are is large and the seats are spacious and comfortable. It is the type of theater where you really can see from anywhere so there isn't a bad seat. The staff is all extremely friendly and helpful and the tickets are affordable. The slight downside is that there aren't many stalls in the bathroom, so you will likely end up waiting in line if you need to go at intermission, but that is the case at almost every theater. There are usually several main stage adult musicals and plays every year in addition to two or three children's focused productions. Everyone involved puts their heart and soul into the productions, and it really shows on the stage. You really get an insane amount of value for the price that you pay for tickets (usually around $20). The theater lobby was recently renovated including a much needed redo of the bathrooms. They have a fairly well stocked concession stand that offers a variety of chips, candy and popcorn. In the summer months, they also often serve ice cream in the ed center located next door. Seating is either in the balcony or on the ground level and seats are decently spaced out and fairly comfortable. There is on street parking nearby but also several larger lots within quick walking distance. I highly recommend checking out a performance here. You won't regret it!

I cannot believe the outstanding level of talent, and entertainment, I have experienced for less than 20.00 dollars a performance. This two- level theater is small, and intimate. Dedicated staff, and volunteers, add their personal touch to help their patrons have an enjoyable outing. Because the theater is small, foot traffic in, and around lobby can get a little tight at times. Especially if ticket purchase, snack counter, and rest room lines overlap. During intermission, it has been a tradition to offer a serving of ice cream in exchange for a small donation. Nice gesture and well-received. I highly recommend taking the time to catch one of their upcoming shows.

My husband had to wedge himself in and barely fit in the seat. When he asked if there were other options, he was told we could sit in the table seating in the back, but we had purchased VIP to sit up close, so he decided to just be a bit uncomfortable rather than be at the back of the theater. I know theaters have tight space and other considerations, but considering they were remodeled not all that long ago, I was surprised about the seat size. The bathroom situation is also a bit of an issue. You need to go downstairs and the set up is a bit strange. There aren't many stalls, and the layout makes it awkward for getting in and out, especially if there is a line. All that being said, it is a lovely theater with friendly staff and fairly affordable concessions. I just wish the seating was more comfortable.
