I could have gone to so many more but there's that whole Pittsburgh to Greensburg trek that's tiresome after a concert. Anyway...each show I've see has had impeccable sound. The engineers are on it. There was a bar providing alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, and water. To bring a drink other than water bottles into the theater , you have to buy a cup for $5. I did. However, note there are no cuo holders on your seat do you can hold it throughout or place on the floor. Restroom was clean. Didn't notice any musty smells this go-round. My seat was right in the middle, 5th row from the orchestra pit. That part was good. However, the seats are situated directly behind the seat in frint if you. Had it been sidestepped a bit, viewing would be great. As is, I had a head smack dab in front of me. It is a wee bit disturbing to be 5th row from the action, yet have a blind spot smack dab in the middle of the stage. That is all. Still not my fav of all venues because of seating and view.

Restrooms were adequate and there are hangers for your coats, free of charge. They served refreshments with donations requested and I was allowed to take bottled water into the theatre. All around, a good time was had.

The theater itself has comfortable seating and has enough rise to accommodate even a large person sitting in front of you and you can still see the stage. No bobbing your head from side to side to see the action. As a 5'4" woman I usually have trouble with this at other theaters.

He wasn't wrong - the show was amazing! The Lamp Theater is small, but was perfect for this show. There was no such thing as a bad seat. The people working the show - many (all?) volunteers - were so nice. It was a 3-hour drive to get there, but definitely worth it. We will be back!

We are able to learn so much in just 4 weeks and it is such a safe space to practice getting out of one's comfort zone. The instructors are all great! They primarily focus on long form but do also have short form classes too. They periodically host jams and shows as well. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to try out or continue their improv journey! They typically do try it out classes beforehand as well for a low stakes way to see if its something you want to jump into!

I cannot believe the outstanding level of talent, and entertainment, I have experienced for less than 20.00 dollars a performance. This two- level theater is small, and intimate. Dedicated staff, and volunteers, add their personal touch to help their patrons have an enjoyable outing. Because the theater is small, foot traffic in, and around lobby can get a little tight at times. Especially if ticket purchase, snack counter, and rest room lines overlap. During intermission, it has been a tradition to offer a serving of ice cream in exchange for a small donation. Nice gesture and well-received. I highly recommend taking the time to catch one of their upcoming shows.

It's even better now that there is a bar with lots of good options. Last night we saw the 50th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show which was tons of fun and even made better that they gave you a bag of props to use during the movie. We have also come for Christmas movies like White Christmas and Christmas Vacation and one of my all time favorites Empire Records. It's such a charming theater with great people.

My husband had to wedge himself in and barely fit in the seat. When he asked if there were other options, he was told we could sit in the table seating in the back, but we had purchased VIP to sit up close, so he decided to just be a bit uncomfortable rather than be at the back of the theater. I know theaters have tight space and other considerations, but considering they were remodeled not all that long ago, I was surprised about the seat size. The bathroom situation is also a bit of an issue. You need to go downstairs and the set up is a bit strange. There aren't many stalls, and the layout makes it awkward for getting in and out, especially if there is a line. All that being said, it is a lovely theater with friendly staff and fairly affordable concessions. I just wish the seating was more comfortable.
