Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had with a tattoo shop, artist and business in general…read more I can't say enough amazing things in this review but I'll try: I was tattooed by Adam Stoner, the owner and you can tell right off the bat that he takes pride in his business. The shop is immaculately clean and sterile. The staff is attentive, kind and personable. Adam is honest. He will be completely transparent about your idea for design and execution. He's upfront about pricing and has more than one option for scheduling. He is currently offering a fast pass that will get you earlier booking options. He also has 1/2 day and full day time slots. I am in love with the work he performed. Being such a sought out artist I wasn't sure if he would take me.. it was going to be a third cover up. The first tattoos I got at 17, the next time they were covered in the last couple of years were done by artist that left a lot to be desired. They were unfinished and not detailed. Adam worked his magic and gave me masterpieces. It's important to add, as a woman and as a woman of color, I felt very respected and safe. His entire shop staff was kind. Customer service is top notch: I was so bummed that I forgot my headphones and Adam immediately sent his assistant to purchase me some on their tab. Plus dinner! We had a long day and I look forward to returning. Great experience!

I've wanted a tattoo for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge this year. After…read moresearching through MANY Instagram portfolios of talented Indy artists, I decided Cass Wilson from Untitled Ink would be the best fit for what I wanted, and I'm so lucky to have been so very right. I had a pretty detailed and complicated vision, and she was able to produce a custom piece that was beyond my expectations. The studio is cozy and clean and close to all the best parts of Broad Ripple (so I could treat myself to a new plant at Snakeroot and a beer or three at the Alley Cat after my appointments). When the day of my appointment came, I'm not gonna lie--I was nervous. I'd chosen to go all-in with a large first piece, and I was unsure how I'd react to the new environment (though I was also really excited because of how awesome the artwork was). Cass was great at explaining the process and made me immediately feel comfortable and welcomed. She continued to be communicative and gentle throughout the process, and we took breaks as needed. (It didn't hurt nearly as much as I'd always imagined it would; though I also chose a less painful area to start with, fwiw.) All this so far would have gotten a 5-star review from me. Had that been my entire experience, I still would have been completely satisfied. However, I was also lucky enough to be there on a day when two other artists--Johnny and Micah--were in, and both of them were awesome enough to chat with me about all kinds of random things we all had in common, and it totally made the experience above and beyond. Like, these people sort of feel a wee little bit like family now, and I can't wait until I get to go back and see them and have a needle jabbed into me for many, many more hours. I couldn't give any business I've ever been to a higher recommendation. ‍

Mine are sparse, so naturally, I was curious when I heard about it. I stumbled upon an up and coming technician, Alexa Bryan, on social media and contacted her for an appointment last Fall. While I was too scared to go through with the procedure at the time, I continued following her IG and saw her business flourish. Recently, the opportunity to connect presented itself once again, and the timing was perfect. Upon booking my appointment, she forwarded pre-procedure prep guidelines and let me know to allow 2 - 3 hours. Alexa is a welcoming and cheerful person, and took her time getting to know me, making sure I was comfortable, while answering any questions I had. She explained her background, training, and what drew her to start her own business. Her studio is a modern bright space, adjacent to Grand Junction Tattoo, but distinctly separate. She made sure to ask what I wanted and took 'before' pictures. Afterward, she applied angles to get precise measurements to create the initial brow shape and symmetry. We modified until I was happy, then outlined and prepped them before taking a short break. Once I was numb, we agreed on a color and got started. The process felt like a scraping, but was not uncomfortable or painful. We talked during the procedure, and before long, I was done and she took some 'after' pictures. Because its a two part process, she explained that I should expect changes in the shape and color over the next 10 days, and that color adjustments could be made during the second procedure. I left with a care kit/instructions and a smile. Looking forward to my next session and will post pictures. The things we do for beauty!
