Everything I thought I knew about cleaning and aftercare - not his advice this time around. No painful twisting your new piercing or crazy cleaning twice a day like they used to tell you. My ears healed so much easier than my first holes and I wish Jordan had been the one to do my original piercings! I took my mom back in the fall and he did her second lobe piercings too. She had the exact same experience as me and they healed perfectly. For my 40th birthday, I decided to get a second helix! Jordan once again did my piercing and it looks great. I'm only a couple days past my new piercing but so far no issues with it and don't anticipate any. I 100% recommend going to Irish Ink for your piercings. I may have to get another once this is healed!

The shop is immaculately clean and sterile. The staff is attentive, kind and personable. Adam is honest. He will be completely transparent about your idea for design and execution. He's upfront about pricing and has more than one option for scheduling. He is currently offering a fast pass that will get you earlier booking options. He also has 1/2 day and full day time slots. I am in love with the work he performed. Being such a sought out artist I wasn't sure if he would take me.. it was going to be a third cover up. The first tattoos I got at 17, the next time they were covered in the last couple of years were done by artist that left a lot to be desired. They were unfinished and not detailed. Adam worked his magic and gave me masterpieces. It's important to add, as a woman and as a woman of color, I felt very respected and safe. His entire shop staff was kind. You also get free earrings for a year with your piercing (one up to $17 pair each month for a year). They have about 20 starter earrings you can choose from with varying metals and prices. I have very sensitive ears/skin so I chose the white gold option. Cristina did our piercings and she was really fantastic. Once I got in the chair, I started getting nervous but she talked us through everything and checked in at every step. She described it as "spicy", not painful, which turned out to be so true. The piercing kit included a big bottle of wound care to help the piercing heal. They advertise that you can take out the starter earrings after just 3 weeks. I'm sure everyone heals differently, but I took mine out at 3 weeks to put in a sparkly pair for New Year's and it was difficult to get them in since I don't think my ears are quite healed yet. I put my starter pair back in and I'll keep them in for a few more weeks. It's been more work than I expected to maintain the piercing, but I'm hoping worth it in the end when I can wear all the cute earrings!
