Last summer, I decided to get second holes in my ear lobes. I hadn't had a piercing since 2003, but had been thinking about something for a while! Piercings are walk in and even though it was pretty busy, I didn't have to wait too long. Jordan did my piercing and he was fantastic! Everything I thought I knew about cleaning and aftercare - not his advice this time around. No painful twisting your new piercing or crazy cleaning twice a day like they used to tell you. My ears healed so much easier than my first holes and I wish Jordan had been the one to do my original piercings! I took my mom back in the fall and he did her second lobe piercings too. She had the exact same experience as me and they healed perfectly. For my 40th birthday, I decided to get a second helix! Jordan once again did my piercing and it looks great. I'm only a couple days past my new piercing but so far no issues with it and don't anticipate any. I 100% recommend going to Irish Ink for your piercings. I may have to get another once this is healed! read more

My wife and I made an appointment with Cooper for a simple tattoo and could not be happier with the results. His line-work was, without a doubt, what sold us on him as artist. His lines are precise, thin and clean. He is incredibly talented and very customer-oriented. When we arrived for our appointment, he had our designs ready and although we asked for a few modifications, he was incredibly willing to do so! So got a new tattoo today done by the talented Cooper Marsh, this guy is awesome let me tell ya! First off my wife and I stopped in here yesterday to ask about getting tats done and Cooper was nice enough to fit me in his busy schedule today, that already made my wife and I like him right away, besides we already checked out his work on instagram the night before. He was very polite listened at exactly the way I wanted my tat to look and not say it needed to be bigger or something like that, I've had too many artists say the way they think it should be instead of how I want it, the paying customer. The most kindest and patient piercer I've ever gone too. He is so knowledgeable and you can tell her knows what he's doing and is passionate about it! This is my completely honest piercing review: I'm 17 and was wanting some new ear piercings. I looked at reviews online and this place seemed to have the best reviews. I believe u have to be over 16 to get pierced here and you need a form of ID along with a parents ID with a matching address. We were a walk-in on a Monday night. It's first come first serve unless you make an appointment. The wait was about an hour which was the ETA they gave us with 2 people in front of us. They have 2 cases of piercing jewelry to look at and what they have in the case is all they have so if you are wanting something specific I would call in and ask if they have it in stock. I ending up getting a rook piercing which was $65 and a conch piercing which was $45. I had Jordan as my piercer and he was great. All the employees were extremely kind and helpful. The whole facility was EXTREMELY clean and sanitary. The only small complaint I have is that every 10 minutes or so a couple employees would all go out for a smoke break and it would end up being kind of a social hour. I wasn't too upset about that it was just more of an annoying thing but they didn't let that affect their sanitation. I'll definitely be coming back! Honestly, it's been 6 days since I got a piercing with Brett, although he was great and has done several of my piercings with at least a few hundred bucks dropped in this place I'd assume their service was backed with some kind of standards. Sure was wrong AF on that one. After less than a week the jewelry has already fell off meaning it wasn't placed correctly in the first place. I hadn't touched it once since that's the recommendation i received on how to care for it. So I called asking for a new ball and instead of a sure come on in- it's we only change out Monday thru Thursday (ya know cause it's a hassle) and it can't be changed yet because it's a 6 day old piercing! Secondly if I want a new one it's $25!? Just for a flipping end piece to a snug piercing that wasn't put on tight enough to last a week!? Dafuq!? Man, it's sad cause bretts a nice guy but I'll take my piercing needs down the street where I know they'll be far more helpful than the BS I dealt with today. I just moved here from North Dakota so I went off of the best recommended place near me and this was it...I can definitely see why they're the best rated as well! I called before making my appointment to verify the type of piercing that would be used and if they're piercer is certified. Well he is certified (yay!) and they use internally threaded, implant grade, titanium (yay!) which is exactly what I was looking for. Going into their shop, they have their artwork all around and the people were extremely nice and professional. The gentleman who pierced me gave me a lot of tips and directions for care and when I got a little nervous about getting pierced he was totally calm and eased me through the process. i LOVE irish ink! the shop is always clean, which is huge. i've been to gary for damn near all of my tattoos (i'm at 18 rn) and never have had any issues. clean lines, i got exactly what i wanted, he even designed one after i gave an idea of what i wanted, and no problems with aftercare/healing. i will say they are always busy so it's best to try to book an appointment or be there as soon as they open- but the wait is 100% worth it. all the staff is so so nice and great to work with. read more

Went in on a Saturday, they have walk ins only, as soon as they were suppose to open. I was the third person in line. They were 30 mins late arriving. First I was told that it would be no problem to do the tat cover up I wanted, then when the second guy arrived I was told that they could not due the tattoo due to it being a three hour job. Ok, they are open until 10pm. From that point on I was ignored. I expressed I wanted to schedule an appointment and the gentleman just walked away. He then started to help another customer with apparently much easier request. I was made to feel dismissed and disrespected. It they want to be able to pick and choose their clients than do not advertise walks only on Saturdays. I left disappointed. I call around to friends for any referrals and found this amazing artist who took his time and knows how to treat his clients. The work is fabulous. Could not be happier. I guess the moral of this experience is just because a place has good reviews and several locals does not make them anything special. I will be sure to share my experience read more

I loved this place. I walked in to get my first tattoo and I was nervous because usually places like this have a very stereotypical vibe, but I was welcomed by Mitch and his smiling face. I asked a lot of questions and he was super patient, and very honest. I got a finger tattoo and he told me that they have to be touched up a lot. I was happy that he was specific and clear. The price was a bit expensive compared to other places I checked, but I assume that's because they were a big town. It ended up being fine though, because Mitch did a rocking job. I felt empowered and welcomed as I sat and got my tattoo. Mitch made me feel comfortable, like I could relax. I'm definitely referring my friends to go here, even though I'm not even from Indiana!
