Last summer, I decided to get second holes in my ear lobes. I hadn't had a piercing since 2003, but had been thinking about something for a while! Piercings are walk in and even though it was pretty busy, I didn't have to wait too long. Jordan did my piercing and he was fantastic! Everything I thought I knew about cleaning and aftercare - not his advice this time around. No painful twisting your new piercing or crazy cleaning twice a day like they used to tell you. My ears healed so much easier than my first holes and I wish Jordan had been the one to do my original piercings! I took my mom back in the fall and he did her second lobe piercings too. She had the exact same experience as me and they healed perfectly. For my 40th birthday, I decided to get a second helix! Jordan once again did my piercing and it looks great. I'm only a couple days past my new piercing but so far no issues with it and don't anticipate any. I 100% recommend going to Irish Ink for your piercings. I may have to get another once this is healed! read more

The service was great and all but I'm extremely bummed that I payed $50 for a septum piercing and left with it very obviously crooked and not straight, piercer didn't even stop to look at it or how crooked it was. read more

When I went for my first piercing they walked me through everything I asked about. Then they took me into the piercing room and it was a comfy calming space. It felt very safe, and the wall of the room was filled with Polaroids of people that got a piercing. Then there was a chalk board that was filled with positivity. And it's overall a great place to go for a walk-in piercing! read more

The staff was friendly and professional. The environment was clean and I witnessed Employees sanitizing surfaces and equipment. The piercer was knowledgeable and offered helpful tips. The artist took his time and was patient with my daughters. We will definitely be back for more piercings and or tattoos. read more

Best service there is. My artist was so sweet and she took her time. They got us in quick.

I had been waiting a long while to get this tattoo. Met with Cooper and he looked at my artwork and set it up to be within my budget. It came out exactly as I wanted and was perfect match to my design. I definitely recommend Cooper and all the artists at Irish Ink. I will definately be back to see him again. read more

I got my septum pierced with Bret. I came in midday on a weekday and was in and out in about 45 minutes. he was super friendly, clean, explained everything before and after, and the actual piercing was very quick and painless. def recommend! read more

I cannot think of a more professional and talented artist to get a tattoo with other than Cooper Marsh. My wife and I made an appointment with Cooper for a simple tattoo and could not be happier with the results. His line-work was, without a doubt, what sold us on him as artist. His lines are precise, thin and clean. He is incredibly talented and very customer-oriented. When we arrived for our appointment, he had our designs ready and although we asked for a few modifications, he was incredibly willing to do so! Being indecisive, I asked him several questions and he was always very patient. His work-station is very clean and he was very comforting (as it was my first tattoo AND on my forearm). I highly recommend him as an artist and the shop in general. They are very clean, gorgeous works are hung all over the place and the other artists were super friendly. Worth the travel, the price and the discomfort if you're not a huge fan of needles! read more

I decided I wanted a double helix ear piercing. Went where I thought it would easy but was told they don't do cartilage piercings so I looked at Yelp and found Irish Ink. When I called, this pleasant voice greeted me. Called me "girlie" which was sweet. Bret Hileman was the kid on the phone and who greeted me at the shop. He also did my piercings which were so well done and sterile. He explained exactly what he was going to do and was very patient. I'm thrilled with the outcome and feel like fate stepped in and sent me to Irish Ink. Highly recommend the place and Bret for easy piercings. Thank you so much!! read more

The only place I'll go! Everyone here was so nice and helpful. Love the vibe. Both piercers were super sweet and helped me feel comfortable. Cooper did my tattoo and I love it (as always). If you're looking for professionals, this is it. read more

So got a new tattoo today done by the talented Cooper Marsh, this guy is awesome let me tell ya! First off my wife and I stopped in here yesterday to ask about getting tats done and Cooper was nice enough to fit me in his busy schedule today, that already made my wife and I like him right away, besides we already checked out his work on instagram the night before. He was very polite listened at exactly the way I wanted my tat to look and not say it needed to be bigger or something like that, I've had too many artists say the way they think it should be instead of how I want it, the paying customer. Cooper Marsh will be my go to artist from now on when I want/ need work done, dude does amazing work. As for the business itself, it's very clean and comfortable, all the artists seem to be very professional here and care about their clients. So long story short, if you're looking for a great tattoo business to get your next tattoo done I highly recommend trying this place out, I'm sure you'll be satisfied with this choice as I am! read more

Came in to get three piercings with jordan . I am extremely afraid of needles but he was soooooo patient with me. I was able to get all three with little pain but most importantly I was comfortable. It was a Saturday so they were pretty busy so I felt bad for taking so much of his time but I definitely really really appreciated him & his kindness. Fantastic experience , highly recommend ! read more

Stop don't look any further for an amazing place to get a piercing I will never go anywhere else. I have gotten two piercings done here by Jordan. The most kindest and patient piercer I've ever gone too. He is so knowledgeable and you can tell her knows what he's doing and is passionate about it! I took my friend here to get piercings knowing she is very anxious when it comes to getting piercings, and anyone else I took her too might walk out - because she takes a minute to calm down. He was very understanding and did not rush her whatsoever despite how busy they were for a Saturday. Seriously just go here!! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I was so nervous walking in yesterday to get my nose and tongue done but that quickly went away because of the amazing people that work there. As soon as I was walking up to the door I was greeted and he opened the door for us. We only had to wait a little for the piercer to be ready and the whole time is was nothing but smiles and nothing but being so comfortable there. He was quick and amazing piercing me and reassured me the whole way! I will never go anywhere else this is my place for life!!! read more

They've done 5/6 of my tattoos and the other one is shit and I want them to fix it and make it 10 times better

This is my completely honest piercing review: I'm 17 and was wanting some new ear piercings. I looked at reviews online and this place seemed to have the best reviews. I believe u have to be over 16 to get pierced here and you need a form of ID along with a parents ID with a matching address. We were a walk-in on a Monday night. It's first come first serve unless you make an appointment. The wait was about an hour which was the ETA they gave us with 2 people in front of us. They have 2 cases of piercing jewelry to look at and what they have in the case is all they have so if you are wanting something specific I would call in and ask if they have it in stock. I ending up getting a rook piercing which was $65 and a conch piercing which was $45. I had Jordan as my piercer and he was great. All the employees were extremely kind and helpful. The whole facility was EXTREMELY clean and sanitary. The only small complaint I have is that every 10 minutes or so a couple employees would all go out for a smoke break and it would end up being kind of a social hour. I wasn't too upset about that it was just more of an annoying thing but they didn't let that affect their sanitation. I'll definitely be coming back! Below are the photos on the piercings I got done. read more

Bret pierced our 6 year old's earlobes here a few weeks ago. Everything was sterilized and the staff was so kind. My daughter barely flinched! Our visit may have been a little out of the norm for a tattoo parlor, but I'm so glad we went. Tip: bring your child's birth certificate. read more

Honestly, it's been 6 days since I got a piercing with Brett, although he was great and has done several of my piercings with at least a few hundred bucks dropped in this place I'd assume their service was backed with some kind of standards. Sure was wrong AF on that one. After less than a week the jewelry has already fell off meaning it wasn't placed correctly in the first place. I hadn't touched it once since that's the recommendation i received on how to care for it. So I called asking for a new ball and instead of a sure come on in- it's we only change out Monday thru Thursday (ya know cause it's a hassle) and it can't be changed yet because it's a 6 day old piercing! Secondly if I want a new one it's $25!? Just for a flipping end piece to a snug piercing that wasn't put on tight enough to last a week!? Dafuq!? Man, it's sad cause bretts a nice guy but I'll take my piercing needs down the street where I know they'll be far more helpful than the BS I dealt with today. So clearly they don't back their work and that's a fact. read more

I just moved here from North Dakota so I went off of the best recommended place near me and this was it...I can definitely see why they're the best rated as well! I called before making my appointment to verify the type of piercing that would be used and if they're piercer is certified. Well he is certified (yay!) and they use internally threaded, implant grade, titanium (yay!) which is exactly what I was looking for. Going into their shop, they have their artwork all around and the people were extremely nice and professional. The gentleman who pierced me gave me a lot of tips and directions for care and when I got a little nervous about getting pierced he was totally calm and eased me through the process. Super clean facility, great staff and I will definitely be back! read more

i LOVE irish ink! the shop is always clean, which is huge. i've been to gary for damn near all of my tattoos (i'm at 18 rn) and never have had any issues. clean lines, i got exactly what i wanted, he even designed one after i gave an idea of what i wanted, and no problems with aftercare/healing. i will say they are always busy so it's best to try to book an appointment or be there as soon as they open- but the wait is 100% worth it. all the staff is so so nice and great to work with. read more

Went in on a Saturday, they have walk ins only, as soon as they were suppose to open. I was the third person in line. They were 30 mins late arriving. First I was told that it would be no problem to do the tat cover up I wanted, then when the second guy arrived I was told that they could not due the tattoo due to it being a three hour job. Ok, they are open until 10pm. From that point on I was ignored. I expressed I wanted to schedule an appointment and the gentleman just walked away. He then started to help another customer with apparently much easier request. I was made to feel dismissed and disrespected. It they want to be able to pick and choose their clients than do not advertise walks only on Saturdays. I left disappointed. I call around to friends for any referrals and found this amazing artist who took his time and knows how to treat his clients. The work is fabulous. Could not be happier. I guess the moral of this experience is just because a place has good reviews and several locals does not make them anything special. I will be sure to share my experience read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on a Saturday evening. He was looking to have a small tattoo done that day. The quote was affordable and they were able to get us in right away. Seth drew up the tattoo and we got started in no time. He was very professional and took great care while performing the tattoo. He was quite friendly and we both felt very comfortable with him. The tattoo came out perfect! I plan on returning to Irish Ink for my next tattoo. read more

I had an piercing done at a different shop and the earring fell out. I was unable to get another one in. I went in hoping that they would be able to put a new one in, but expecting that they might have to pierce it again. The piercer (Brett I think?) was great. He was able to get a new earring in without piercing it and the price was awesome. I will definitely go back if I get anything else done! read more

I loved this place. I walked in to get my first tattoo and I was nervous because usually places like this have a very stereotypical vibe, but I was welcomed by Mitch and his smiling face. I asked a lot of questions and he was super patient, and very honest. I got a finger tattoo and he told me that they have to be touched up a lot. I was happy that he was specific and clear. The price was a bit expensive compared to other places I checked, but I assume that's because they were a big town. It ended up being fine though, because Mitch did a rocking job. I felt empowered and welcomed as I sat and got my tattoo. Mitch made me feel comfortable, like I could relax. I'm definitely referring my friends to go here, even though I'm not even from Indiana! I love this place. P.s. the employees could smile more and be joyful and excited about serving the people with their artistic ability. But once you talk to them, they rock and are very kind :) read more
