A 17th Century former Coaching Inn backing onto the Firth of Forth sat in between the Forth Road and Rail Bridges.
Having grown up in South Queensferry, this pub has been a part of my childhood dragging my Dad out of there when dinner was ready! As well as my adult life, I enjoy a good pint in there.
They serve various beers and ciders at reasonable prices (approx £3 a pint). You can have various shots also if you wish. They have a pool table, seating area, TV and at weekends often a disco in the back. A great atmosphere for locals and visitors and the staff will make you feel welcome.
The Stag Head is also a Hotel with various standards of rooms, some with en-suite. Great transport links to Edinburgh being just off the bus route and a 20 minute walk to Dalmeny train station which sits just before the World Heritage renowned Forth Rail Bridge.
