I had the pleasure of working with Hilda Hernandez at staff mark and couldnt be more impressed and happy with her professionalism and knowledge for her clients and their needs. I was in desperate need for a job and after doing the redundant act of applying on line and hearing nothing back i decided to try staffmark. I made call and within 10 minutes hilda called me back to set up interview. She was very thurough when listening and trying to find a place where i would be happy and fit my conditions for availaibilty and schedule needs. Within 2 weeks i was working full time at a warehouse and was able to make some $ before christmas which meant alot and the job was supposed to be temporary but thru hers and my hard work it turned into a permanant position. Hilda was always there when i needed her or had questions and would even call me to see how things were and get scoop on the job and my happiness. I had never gone thru employment agency before because i thought or heard they are scams or places trying to get paid thru ur hard work but this is far from the truth with Staffmark. They didnt take a dime from me and seemed to enjoy finding work for those in need. They gave me a check card at which my check could be direct deposited(which was usually day earlier than regular check) which was awesome becauae i didnt have a bank acct and thru that checking card i was able to pay bills and what not without having to open bank acct. It Was a very valuable assett. Not sure what the last reviewer was talking about. Dont think it was discrimination that is ridiculous. From what i gather seems like the person just wasnt a good fit for the company he was trying to get a job with. Staff mark, and even more so Hilda would never act in that manner and their only objective is to get people jobs "where they fit and are qualified for" so that job employer probably didnt think u were good fit and if u would of just gave them little more time they probably wohldnof found u a job where u were better fit. I obviously do not know all facts but to say duscrimination is ridiculous and maybe that type of thinking is why u werent a good fit. Anyways i am happy at my job and Hilda is even keeping an eye out for other jobs for me that might be a step up or promotion which is amazing that she cares that much about my professional progress and continues working for me and my wants and needs. I also want to mention i never post on yelp but just seeing the last post made me want to stand up for Hilda because my experience with her was awesome and she is great at what she does!!! I applied with Staffmark and received a call from Angela Morrone. I can say for myself that they seem to have looked for the best job suited for me. The one job I was sent to was temporary only was there for about 4 months. I later received a phone call from Sandy Jones,,and she expressed to me about a position that was available as a Trials Coordinator for a logistics company. So I said yes, I would love to check it out. Then to find out what it paid was not what I expected it was more than I what I had made in the past. I can say after close to being 5 months of working where I am now, and I am very satisfied. Excited that I am now getting hired on permanently. YAY! I would recommend this Staffing Agency. Sandy the one on the picture !! Not even the front desk knows how to greet or welcome a person who is desperate to find an honest job. This women talks down to you she is not welcoming nor understanding. They see you as a contract and not an human. I am a 50 year old man honest work does not scar me I passed all of you background and drug screening. My record is clean she and the staff bilittled me made me feel shameful and worthless! Your company needs to be retrained on the laws of on the job injuries and light dutie obligation. Not sure if they where just hateful humans or racist. I heard they were hiring for a position that pays very good. I did an application they called me to go into their office to on board for the position. When I went in the ladies were very nice. Once i was done in the office i just had to wait for my background to clear and they called me to confirm me for a start date a couple days later. My experience with them was very good and I appreciate the opportunity they gave me. I'm currently still working at the job they placed me at and I am going to be starting the process to get hired on with tbe company. Very happy with them!!!! read more
