I told her that although I have 25+ years in that industry, in the description, they mentioned that it was in a segment that I had not worked and that I doubt they would be interested. She submitted, said that they really wanted to speak with me, and submitted my resume and set up an interview. She told me to call her after the interview. The company brought up that I worked in a different segment and it was a complete waist of mine and the companies time. I tried to call after the interview and was ghosted. So unprofessional.

They did a great assessment of me during the interview and really took the time to make sure they knew all about my job preferences and skills.
