My first visit to the office, their on-boarding software was down. I completed this process at home, for the most part. Then at my second visit to this office, I completed the on-boarding process; Miranda told me the details of this position; I told them I still was interested. I also was interested in a part-time position at a local car wash and a weekend second or third shift receptionist position. Express Pros told me that I could only apply for one position at a time. I was later told that placements on the attendant position was on hold due to the resort's undergoing a restructuring their business. I was also told that the car wash position was being reconsidered by the client's "director". The receptionist position required hospitality experience, which was never mentioned in the job description posted on their website. Miranda was very arrogant when I dealt with her. Jessie, the female receptionist, stated that, every time I called this office to follow up on these positions, that both Miranda and Vinny were in meetings and that I would have my calls returned, which never happened. I will utilize other employment agencies and will consult an attorney if I can sue this company for deceptive advertising. I will also write to the owner of this Express Pros Franchise and the CEO at the Express Pros corporate offices. I will report this franchise to the State of Florida governmental agencies, to see if this specific franchise can be punished civilly or criminally.
