Dan the owner was overly helpful on so many levels. He helped set up and insulated my water for the crazy cold KC winters. Plus I didn't have the best sewer connection, he ended up creating a pvc pipe connection for me. It's a great place for long stay parking, especially if you are in KC for a few months working like I was. It's very clean and well lit. Full hookups for 50 or 30 amp electricity, water and sewer. There is no WiFi or cable. I ordered an AT&T DSL as the other local companies don't service the area. AT&T was great. You pay the monthly electricity and water is included. Call first, set up a meeting with Fan and schedule a time to pull in. I have a 1989 24' Class C and a perfect spot, but there were quite a few larger Motorhomes and Campers.

That being said, the park was pretty nice. It didn't feel crowded. It was a bit more spread out than others. The WiFi was pretty good by RV park standards. The owners were friendly too. It's a no frills place, but very well maintained - they keep most of the spots' hookups heated so that everything works well unless temperatures are in the 20s or lower for 2 days, which made our December/January weather much more comfortable. The common facilities are clean and tidy, and the campgrounds well maintained. They even had a small lot where we could store our trailer at no extra charge! Best of all though, the manager is exceedingly kind and genuinely concerned about the well being of her guests. This will be our go to choice in the area!

There were spider webs in the corners and when we woke up in the morning there were ants everywhere. I had them in my cup (water) my son also had a spider crawling on him inside the cottage. And the AC has a limit. So hot day at the park and your ac won't go lower then 70.

As a long-term resident of La Casita mobile home community Kansas City Missouri I am afraid I have…read moreto report that there are extreme inconsistencies in management. In the five years that I have lived there we have had four different managers. Each one creates new hostility. None of them are really managers. Managers don't act that way. I run an e-commerce company and I've been a manager most of my life. When taking on a new position you investigate matters you ask questions you ask people why they are doing what they are doing. And then it's something seems to be out of character maybe not what you think it should be then you can investigate that and you can figure out why it's called managing. And at the end of which if you then find a problem or inconsistency you can address it at that time. You do so respectfully. Now, with those points in mind none of the managers that I have seen during the time that I've lived at the La Casita mobile home community exhibit those qualities. I obviously have several employees. I have a nurse who is with me about half the week. She spends a lot of time at the house. She does not live there. As such she is not a decision maker. Who does the new manager approach? The employee! And then when that manager is in fact corrected and made aware of the fact that they have made an error, but they only compound the problem and do nothing to correct it.
