Dan the owner was overly helpful on so many levels. He helped set up and insulated my water for the crazy cold KC winters. Plus I didn't have the best sewer connection, he ended up creating a pvc pipe connection for me. It's a great place for long stay parking, especially if you are in KC for a few months working like I was. It's very clean and well lit. Full hookups for 50 or 30 amp electricity, water and sewer. There is no WiFi or cable. I ordered an AT&T DSL as the other local companies don't service the area. AT&T was great. You pay the monthly electricity and water is included. Call first, set up a meeting with Fan and schedule a time to pull in. I have a 1989 24' Class C and a perfect spot, but there were quite a few larger Motorhomes and Campers.

That being said, the park was pretty nice. It didn't feel crowded. It was a bit more spread out than others. The WiFi was pretty good by RV park standards. The owners were friendly too. If you need a place to spend the night, this is a pretty good choice.

It's a no frills place, but very well maintained - they keep most of the spots' hookups heated so that everything works well unless temperatures are in the 20s or lower for 2 days, which made our December/January weather much more comfortable. The common facilities are clean and tidy, and the campgrounds well maintained. They even had a small lot where we could store our trailer at no extra charge! Best of all though, the manager is exceedingly kind and genuinely concerned about the well being of her guests. This will be our go to choice in the area!

Review Title: Great location, but several issues…read more We stayed at Worlds of Fun Village from July 20 to July 22, 2025. While we enjoyed the proximity to the park and the general setup of the cabins, there were several disappointing issues that need attention: * The smoke detector was missing from our cabin (#257), which is a serious safety concern. * The living room light switch was broken and didn't function properly. * We noticed several ants in the cabin throughout our stay. * Most disappointing was the condition of the swimming pool. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time--there was visible algae along the sides and bottom. I wouldn't have used it at all, but I was on vacation with my grandkids and wanted to spend time in the pool with them. The hot tub was clean, thankfully. Here's a photo of my swim trunks after using the pool--you can see the algae stains left behind: This place has a lot of potential, and I hope they address these maintenance issues. Until then, I'd be cautious about staying here again--especially if the pool is a big part of your vacation plan.
