I completely enjoyed my stay at Autumn Falls. It's a combo long stay RV park and mobile home. The…read morepark is 55 and better, so no kids or loud parties. Dan the owner was overly helpful on so many levels. He helped set up and insulated my water for the crazy cold KC winters. Plus I didn't have the best sewer connection, he ended up creating a pvc pipe connection for me. It's a great place for long stay parking, especially if you are in KC for a few months working like I was. It's very clean and well lit. Full hookups for 50 or 30 amp electricity, water and sewer. There is no WiFi or cable. I ordered an AT&T DSL as the other local companies don't service the area. AT&T was great. You pay the monthly electricity and water is included. Call first, set up a meeting with Fan and schedule a time to pull in. I have a 1989 24' Class C and a perfect spot, but there were quite a few larger Motorhomes and Campers.

It was exceptionally hot the week of our stay there and we really wanted some shade to help break the triple digit temps. Site 8, a Premium concrete site with almost full shade all day. A large FHU back in site, with a solid concrete pad. Booked it all online and its pretty straightforward, the photos of the sites are pretty accurate. I believe the premium sites are worth the few extra bucks. Full concrete slab with a patio, a metal picnic table and a fire pit and shade trees. Most of the premium sites have partial to full shade. Our rig and HDT fit nicely on our site unhooked with some extra room, not sure it would of all fit in a lot of the regular spots. Our site was exactly what we were hoping for. The site was pretty flat, with a slight slope back but very easy for leveling the rv. Power, water and sewer drain are all on the drivers side of the slab and fairly close to each other, within a couple feet and on the shady side. A nice feature on the water hook up is the tee double faucet set up, allowing you to run a second water line if needed. Controlled access gates, the friendly camp host is on site, the park ranger patrols the grounds regularly. Its very peaceful and secure. There are limited interior lights on at night, so light polution is minimal. Did not use them, but the restroom and shower facilities looked well maintained and modern. Dumpsters are located in the middle of the park. One of the nicest county maintained parks with full hooks up available, that we have been to. 4.5 Stars rounded up for the great shady spot on a very hot week 01311

My niece wanted to ride a horse though so we ended up here. BEST DECISION EVAH!!! Tiffany & Heather were there to help us through every step. Honey, I loved the decor! The tents were amazing. The beds were super comfy. They helped us start fires. They've made camping easy & accessible to even a city slicker like me. I loved it & I'm grateful that they've brought this here to Kansas City. Hurry up and go already! You're gonna love it!

The camper ground itself I bet was great many moons ago, but it has gone defunct with the newest owner( who I never saw him change his clothes in the 3 days we were there) Extremely rundown, low hanging branches, filth and non running amenities like a so called cafe, game room and such. There were many campers that are lived in long term/full time with junk all around. Showers and bathrooms disgusting with filth, wallpaper handing off walls and spiderwebs galore. DO NOT stay here. You will thank us later. This place only had one good thing and that is the lake itself. Pretty view but uneven rocky, filthy( found a dozen long screws and mousetrap at our site). It poured rain for one day and made the place a muddy slip and slide....... no phone or internet there at all. If you HAVE to stay there, lock up all your belongings.....sketchy residents there.

It's super easy to get around, from City Market to Country Club and everywhere in between. I stayed for a business conference at the convention center. The skybridge connection is great and makes it easy to go back and forth. The room was clean and modern, with a nice desk area to get work done at. The hotel was busy with football fans and convention goers, but the staff did a great job keeping everything moving. I also love the bar/restaurant options within the hotel. I'd be happy to stay here again and will be on the lookout for Loews hotels at other destinations going forward!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and there is a beautiful bar area, a full service restaurant and a great grab-and-go bakery. It is also connected directly to the convention center, which was perfect during an August heat wave. It's within walking distance of several other great hotels, restaurants and places to relax after a long workday. On my first night, I missed the room-service deadline and needed some caffeine to stay up late working on a project. A very sweet person in Guest Services somehow arranged for someone to bring a few Cokes to my room well after 11 p.m. I was so appreciative. I do wish they had vending machines on the guest floors. I wouldn't even mind paying the exorbitant hotel price. I'm a caffeine addict who doesn't drink coffee, so I need my morning soda! I loved Red Wheat Baking Co. downstairs. The sandwiches and hamburgers were excellent, and it was so easy to run in and grab a quick bite. We also ate at The Stilwell, and it was wonderful. Our server recommended a delicious entrée and appetizers that really hit the spot after a long day at the convention. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, the front-desk staff was great, and they were even nice after the second time I lost my room key! Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I'm already looking for another excuse to visit Kansas City and stay at this beautiful hotel again.
