There are pavilions here and there are almost always events booked at them when i come. I took my dog for a walk here today and it was a nice peaceful event (and there were 2 large parties at different pavilions). This park is close to my heart. Last year i planted a memorial tree here to honor my Grandma (through the St Ann Parks board). Bring you family and a picnic and head to Tiemeyer Park!

Plus they have access to exercise equipment for everyone to use. One thing I really like is the free little library. I enjoy picking out a book and bringing my old books to share with the neighborhood. They also have a bathroom but it is not open all year long. Only during the warmer months. Definitely great for days when I only have a small amount of time to take my daughter to the park.

Except for one ball field and the trail that circles the park all amenities are at one end. For eastbound visitors along Midland or Lackland roads that's not a problem. Westbound travelers have a difficult u-turn where Midland and Lackland cross and form an 'X' intersection. An option is using Millet Drive to the east. However, entering that way feels like you're going opposite the normal traffic flow on the one lane drive/lot.
