Bonus points for two other good thrift spots that I can hit in the same area. Parking here is a breeze, as there is a nice and spacious lot. Setup is similar to the Sutherland Amvets, and the store is large. Things are sorted by clothing type, not size, so be prepared to spend a good amount of time going through the racks. I have found many gems here, though there is also a good amount of Shein and stained/ripped items. Prices have been creeping higher but it's not as bad as other thrift stores in SD. They do military discount and 50% off on certain color tags daily. Overall this is my go-to thrift store and I look forward to discovering what gems I can find here.

Seeing the asking price for DONATED items and knowing how much things cost brand new really surprised me. Clothing from fashion nova and shein were there and the price is what you can pay online. So, just be mindful and shop smart. It's useful if no credit card or no time to wait for shipping. They house "East County Vinyl" inside which has such an extensive collection of both new and used vinyls that are all priced SO well - we walked out with 5 used vinyls under $30, SCORE (two of them were priced at just $2)! We've already tried playing all 5 of them and they were in pristine condition. Walked into the back and they have a really nice assortment of furniture, art, books, a small rack of clothing, vintage decor and collection pieces alike, all of which were priced very well!! Even though the clothing rack was small, I found this really cool Padres shirt :) The gentleman working today was also very kind and helpful, he even offered to hold the vinyls we found up at the register so we could continue perusing around the store. The consignment and vintage market, especially in San Diego, marks up prices but the Consignment Shack makes it affordable for all! Can't wait to come back!!!

I found a mini LED tree for $8 but decided to pass on it. Great daily discounts like military, teachers, seniors and forgot the fourth. They had additional discounts on the day we went with 20% off all long sleeves. We walked away with 14 items for $100! Thrifting is the way to shop in this economy!
