A pretty average op shop with almost no 'rummage till you find a gem' potential at all. The women's racks, as Liz points out, are surprisingly bare - and what is there is all of the lower end, lower quality variety. No crazy mu-mus, no unworn Cue pieces: a bunch of cheap brands in OK condition. Yes, it is cheap in cost as well, but that's not why I visit op shops.
The men's selection fares better, though the home wares are dated and daggy. There *is* quite a selection of kid's toys which is great, but there are huge signs posted everywhere with "NO PLAYING WITH THE TOYS" splashed all over them. When my 2 year old niece went (quite naturally) immediately to this section and started touching things before we could pick her up again, a very blunt older lady appeared in .2 seconds and asked us to stop playing with the toys (which are positioned on the floor and within children's reach). She was a bit rude actually. I mean: have a heart ladies, they're *used* kids toys!
Probably wouldn't go back. read more
