It wasn't a bad setting really it was just the heat that was too much. It was so humid outside and then they opened up the windows and the humidity just came inside plus was hot and they're ready to begin with. I don't know how much they charged her to do the class. All I know is it was a part of the Japanese cultural center. I guess from the way it seemed they have cooking classes often there and other little classes or meetings or something. I guess it's a good little place. If you want to have a meeting or teach to class or have some kind of business lunch or dinner or something. I don't know what all they let you have there, but I would think that since they get money for the space that they'd probably let you do almost anything within reason . Having easy kitchen access, and the restrooms were right next to the kitchen, which everything was very convenient in that way, which made it very nice. I guess I would only go back depending on what it's for if it's something that really interests me or not.

The site director is very immature and has little to no appropriate training on how to speak to…read moreparents! Amber did nothing to make me feel comforted when issues arose with my child. She was very rigid and unapproachable. She appeared irritated and bothered every time I spoke to her about simple things like schedules and adding/dropping days.The staff members in my child's class rarely spoke to me unless I asked questions. There was never any conversation initiated by them on how my child was doing, cute stories, etc. I have observed neglect in not only the toddler rooms but the infant rooms as well; babies were left placed in a jumper, screaming, while staff members chatted. There was never any urgency in tending to the crying babies ! I called it quits when my 2 1/2 left crying one day because the director took her blanket away from her, threw out her morning snack before she could eat it, and was rude to her while attempting to potty train. Not to mention the staff admitted to leaving my 2 1/2 daughter on the toilet for over 20 minutes !! Unacceptable !

Leon Biernat, the pastor, sets the tone for this conservative parish. He is very active and provides clear direction for a "traditinal" Catholic environment. There are numerous active ministries for all age groups to become involved in a very strong community setting. Each of these ministries provide many opportunities for involvement of practicing ones faith. Over the past 11 years, under Fr. Leon's Pastoral guidance, there have been numerous priests (Parochial Vicars) who have beenefitted from there involvement at St. Greg's and continued on as pastors at their own assigned parishes. The St Greg's school has been one of the top rated academic schools (both private & public) in the WNY area for more than 60 years! Opportunities to attend daly mass is relatively convenient: weekdays (M - F) there are ~30 minute masses @ & am & noon each day; Saturdays provide an 8 am & 4 pm service and Sundays provide 8 am, 10 am and noon masses which are longer services of 50 -60 minutes. Currently, St Gregory is part of the "Shepherd & Saints Family" in the Buffalo Diocese. If you looking for a parish that has numerous opportunities to practice your Catholic Faith, I do not think you will be disappointed with the spirituality at St Gregory's.

It's actually oddly comfortable for a church, at least the pews are. I've sat on them for both extended wedding and funeral services in the past few years. There are restrooms throughout. Tons of parking. Easy disabled access. Large doors. While I prefer churches that are centuries old, love the feel and the history, this is a fine example of what a modern church can be.

As residents in the school district and having absolutely no other vested interest in the school other than enjoying attending plays and musicals of which we have attended and enjoyed several over the years. We are always impressed with how passionate and talented the students are. This performance of Guys and Dolls did not let us down. It was wonderfully entertaining. We are always very impressed with the singing and acting. The choreography and orchestra are really good. We are also very impressed with the 3D set backdrops. When you first see them, you swear they are curved but after looking closely, you realize they are flat screens that have been painted with almost perfect depth perspective accuracy and by strategically placing on stage props, you get a real 3D feel. I highly recommend attending these plays and musicals. You will really enjoy them.

The films they show seem well-selected, all of which are independent. They also offer many workshops, such as flash animation and video editing. There is no option to register online and for a technology class, thats not good! It shouldnt take 2 weeks to even get a chance to talk to the director who apparently is the only person who has information about the workshops! By the way, i still have not receieved a return call from the director. At this point im not sure if i want to even take a workshop class here. The registration process is unacceptable, just havent found another option nearby home. 4 calls later, the director has not even attempted to reach out to me, guess they dont need my business. How disappointing! If i am able to register for a class before all the slots are taken, i will be sure to update my review. update- I finally was able to register my child. so I updated my review to 4 stars.
