This daycare is the worst decision we made by sending our son there . The director Jordan had the audacity to imply a diagnosis of our son's behavior though she is not even a therapist . My son went 3 days a week but they don't offer any useful activities. High turnover staff . The daycare workers were mean to my son. They give hard time and don't accommodate well the IEP teachers if your kid need those services . Your kid can not bring bottle of water , really ???? Sadly I'm putting this low review out there so other new parents aren't putting their trust and faith into a place that has terrible, unprofessional communication to parents. It all sounds good, it all looks good, you want to believe it is good, but...in this pandemic world things are just not as they once were. Staffing is clearly a problem everywhere. The solution may have to be raising the pay of the very wonderful people who work directly with the little ones. Something has to be done to incentivize people to stay here. In our case my daughter went on the waiting list for her yet to be born child 6 months before he was even here. She was taking all of her allowed leave so she wasn't going start him until 5 months old. She started on the agreed upon date and after 2 weeks they "unenrolled" him, with literally no notice, from DoodleBugs. It took a call to corporate to be told it was due to staffing. No other suggestions for where to go or what to do. Just told on a Monday that he wasn't able to be part of the infant room. I don't know how a reputable business thinks this ok. It really is a sad day when you think you can trust a place with your BABY and this is how it is handled. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. And discuss how situations like this might be handled. Because clearly doodlebugs is not run by competent, caring people who can communicate to parents. read more

The stars are not popping up above, as they should, however I give it a minimum 5 star review. I am a grandmother and my two grandchildren attend this facility. I'd dealt with day care centers when my daughter was young and the experience with Doodlebugs! far exceeds anything I've experienced in the past. All the caregivers hold degrees, which is more than can be said for some teachers in parochial schools. There really is no turnover so your child(ren) have familiar faces everyday. The care and attention is exceptional. My daughter initially put her 2 year old into daycare for the socialization. I cannot begin to tell the difference this made in all of our lives. My grand-daughter started putting sentences together, naming simple objects in our house and she started eating food that she had never considered before. She also started using utensils. Now daycare is a necessity since my daughter is a full time student and works. The 8 month old also attends. Both children are happy, healthy and very well cared for while at Doodlebugs!. I'm not discreditting any other daycare facility, I just think this is the best around. read more

I'm a mom of a child who has been at DoodleBugs OP for over 2 years. My child started in the infant room and has grown up through the program. To give them a proper review you have to think beyond the staffing challenges that every business is currently facing. They had to make some tough decisions to keep classrooms small to ensure our children's safety. And even through the pandemic, I have incredible confidence in the team, very much including my child's own teachers. My child has flourished, he loves his teachers and they clearly love him back. Many families who are also there have been for many years. Ultimately for me, I needed to see and feel like my child was safe and loved, everything else was just a bonus. The video cam in the room allows me to check on him multiple times a day (if I want), the Assistant Directors and/or Directors are there all the time if you have concerns, questions or just a quick check in. Even prior to the pandemic, I like many other soon to be parents checked out multiple places, DoodleBugs was by far the nicest, most organized, and the staff I truly felt confident leaving my child with. And while at the time it was a little more expensive, it was totally worth it, and now am thankful that's where our little one has grown. read more
