Whenever I ask something she can't give me the answer right away. She's not answering the phone and she is racist. The meal prepared is not healthy (which is always crackers every day). I caught 99% of the teachers there are eating more foods that supposed to be for students. I caught most teachers are on their phones (texting and calling while on their clock time). I caught some teachers yelling at their students. This is why I don't like my child to stay in this school anymore. Parents, please don't waste your money on this school.

My little guy especially enjoys the Down Hill Skiing and the Chess club, I like that he gets daily French and that he takes advantage of the French Clubs in the after school program. Parents can (voluntarily) help with trips and school outings (which provides a great opportunity to get to know the other kids and the teachers). But probably the most important thing is that the teachers care about the students and are committed to them.

I work in education and visit schools and teachers around the world and I can confidently say that Dearcroft is easily one of the top learning environments I've had the privilege of participating in. I am proud to put my 3 children in this school despite all the other great options available in Oakville. The teachers are personable, empathetic and caring -but true to Maria's Montessori's teachings they develop the whole child. My kids are challenged academically, and are critical thinkers in their day to day thanks to what they've learned there. My wife and I are regularly approached in public and complimented on how well our kids behave, and how independant and caring they are for others - love that! The other kids I've interacted with from Dearcroft are exceptional - they are respectful, industrious, and helpful. It's an absolute pleasure to volunteer for school events and interact with the school community. Some of the other schools we looked at had a 'sterile' and 'luxury' feel to them that I didn't like -- Dearcroft feels more down to earth and more focused on growth of the children, and the community of the school.
