St. Paul Hotel - Hotels Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

We stayed one night here in July 2025 and it was terrible. It was so loud! They really could use some soft close doors. The whole wall shakes when guests enter the hotel from the parking lot and the door slams. The issue was brought up to the General Manager but no accommodations were made. Will not return read more

Quirky boutique hotel with a lot of charm. We have stayed here twice and both times have appreciated the excellent service and very clean rooms. Beds are comfortable and the shower is more like what you find in a spa than hotel. Even the towels are nice and large. Only downside is that modulating the room temperature is a bit tricky. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and our room was modern with a fabulous bathroom! Seriously. Best hotel bathroom I've ever seen. It was spacious, with heated floors, and had a glass enclosed shower with three shower heads. We enjoyed our continental breakfast delivered right to our room at our chosen time. The bed was comfortable and the entire hotel was very clean. read more

St. Paul Hotel - Hotels Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

Boutique Hotel that is the gem of Wooster. Exceptional service, furnishings, and location.

This place is amazing. It must be the most modern and chic hotel that ever existed in a rural area. Wooster is a cute tiny little Midwestern town. It's famous for some college, but for as much as the Ohioans rave about it I must say the name is not familiar to me. Regardless, the town has two or so blocks with antique shops and restaurants. Pleasant way to spend the day. And if you stay overnight, then the St. Paul is the place to stay. It's got a modern look similar to a Starwood W. The guy at the front was sooooo super nice. Showed us up to our room and got us some ice. Who does that anymore? The room had a sitting area and a bedroom area. A great size for two people. The bathroom was immaculate and looked like a designer you'd find on HGTV had designed it. Beautiful. In the morning they brought up some pastries/yogurt etc. You choose upon check in what you'd like to have to eat. Not a huge meal, but a nice gesture nonetheless. I'd come back to this hotel in a heartbeat!!! read more

Very clean and quiet. The staff was very nice and is located in downtown. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast delivered to door is convenient. It's definitely a small boutique style hotel mainly for business travel. I also like that the front and back door lock in the evening. They also have free snacks. Might be a bit cold/steril but I prefer that in a hotel room so you know it's clean. Will stay again read more

Fabulous atmosphere, quiet, customer friendly and centrally located to food, wine and coffee shop. I travel globally and this hotel had a calm relaxed presence. Nearby beautiful farm fields make this destination even more pleasant. Give up the big name hotels and try this wonderful place. read more

This hotel is really special, from the kindness of the staff to the quality and beauty of the hotels finishes and common areas - you're sure to leave impressed and well rested. Incredibly comfortable beds. The room and entire grounds were spotless, which is incredibly crucial during COVID. Would recommend St Paul to anyone read more

"Disciple turned Aposotle" Wow St. Paul Hotel. Would it be sacrilegious to say you're looking much more sexy and updated? Hosting an attractive lobby area you can't help but want to come here. Visible from the outside, there is a stellar marble fireplace accompanied by super mod chairs and a stained glass depiction of St. Paul. Upon entering I was met with a delightful female concierge type. Immediately offering me a tour, I most definitely obliged. The rooms are awesome. I think my favourite part must be the showers...or maybe the TV's...or maybe the TV IN the shower. Walk in showers made with stunning granite stone all have rain shower heads. Yum. Televisions were all flat-screen and built into the wall. Larger rooms hosted additional TV's, including one with a TV in the bathroom. What the what? I thought I was cool because I had a speaker system in my apt. bathroom... and now I pale in comparison. More than ample closet space and heated floors in the bathroom. Let us not forget the high-end products also available for use. One of the rooms stages a large outdoor deck space complete with hot tub. Private parking lot with direct access to the hotel. (Although you may never leave) Located in the heart of Wooster, there are PLENTY of great places to shop and eat. From Antique stores to Spoon! (an amazing sandwich/gourmet deli...see my review) you will certainly not be bored. Everything is ultra new and although very modern they have managed to incorporate some Wooster nostalgia. Most of the rooms have a sliding door, for privacy in the bedroom area, that are constructed of metal from Freedlander's Department Store. I am always pro recycling...especially if its from old stuff. A gym and spa were currently being installed upon my visit. I'm sure they will be no less than amazing when completed. Consider this a true boutique hotel, and the price of the rooms is extremely reasonable. read more

We spent the weekend at St Pauls hotel in Wooster and I cannot say enough about it! It's beautiful, clean and inviting ! The front desk people were wonderful and accommodatIng!!! My whole family stayed here for the weekend and they all raved about it . Spoiler alert heated floors!! We had almost every room booked as my son was getting married nearby. A class act through and through! read more

Neat place in New York. But why here? On the pricey side with no bar, food and views of Market Street a real plus. Have yet to see a room light on. Too bad, the rooms are contemporary with TVs everywhere. Unfortunately, there are no guests watching them! read more

Great hotel right in downtown Wooster. Really modern. Heated tile bathroom floors, rainfall shower heads. We loved it as a little get a way. It was nice that it was so modern yet tucked away in the historic looking downtown of Wooster. We would stay here again for sure. read more

Nestled in the heart of Wooster's downtown historic district, the St. Paul Hotel is a wonderfully appointed modern industrial hotel offering upscale luxuries, in-room continental breakfast, and an attentive staff. I stayed in a room featuring a queen bed, 3 televisions (bedroom, living room, bathroom), rainforest shower with 3 heads, private deck with hot tub, and amenities such as a Keurig, bath robes, heated tile floors, and a pull-out sofa. The exposed brick throughout is a wonderful touch and the original sliding fire door is a striking design feature. With plenty of shops, restaurants, antique galleries, and attractions within walking distance, this is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy some time away. My only thought is that the price is a little high for the room I rented. It is quite a nice room with many amenities, but I think the price could be lowered about 20% (and I even stayed off-peak season and days) to feel a little better about the cost. read more

The newly hotel is nice the rooms are spacious. I enjoyed the heated floors and rain shower.

They had me at heated bathroom floor! Upscale modern decor warmed by exposed brick and extremely helpful staff. Great for an overnight getaway. I recommend reserving the room with its own private deck and hot tub. Spacious rooms boasting high ceilings throughout and a reclaimed massive steel fire door add to the awesome ambiance. A quick cup coffee brewer sits atop the wet bar in the living room and a mini fridge is stocked with pop and water for your arrival. The luxurious bathroom greets you with heated floors and a tv that you can watch while standing under the relaxing waterfall shower. Slip into the soft white robes and make your way to your private deck and hot tub. Crisp sheets and a large bed send you to sleep until morning when a personalized continental breakfast is delivered to your door at the time you request. Overall I highly recommend the St. Paul hotel. It should not disappoint. read more

The hotel is amazing! From the extremely friendly and helpful staff to the luxurious rooms (we had room 26)-this is now my go to hotel in Wooster. Plenty of restaurants close and a lot of nice outside patios to enjoy. Coming to Wooster just got even better with the St. Paul! read more

Third time I have stayed in five years. Disappointing experience. On the plus side, the shower, beds and bedding are exquisite. How can a hotel that is smoke-free reek of cigarettes? I smelled cigarettes the second I entered the place and asked the front desk clerk why. She said the wine bar next door allows smoking. The lobby smelled awful. So did the elevator. The room did not smell but the carpet was stained, the shower floor covered with lime deposits. I was scheduled to spend two nights and told Brenda the manager I would try to find other lodging. Brenda said there was no smell, that no one in the history of the building had complained. The front desk clerk chimed in as if I was crazy. I did not ask for a refund or upgrade. I was unable to find another hotel so I stayed there one night. They agreed not to penalize me for the cancellation and also granted me late checkout because I was in town for a 90th birthday celebration, which I appreciated. Everyone besides Brenda the manager and Allie the front desk clerk was nice. I am sad they are not taking good care of the property and will not stay there again. I will miss the bedding and the wonderful shower. read more

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, nice staff. What more could you want? Quick getaway in a quiet town. Really perfect and would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

We stayed for three nights and had the best stay! The hotel itself has been upgraded very well. Rooms and bathrooms are a nice mix of old school and modern with all the amenities and extras! Tv in the bathroom, tv over the wet bar, mini fridge stocked with sodas and water, nice keurig, awesome shower options and a heated bathroom floor. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating often calling us by names for making sure we got our breakfast orders in. Speaking of, great breakfast. I don't normally go for the continental breakfast when I stay somewhere but I did here. There is no dining area so it shows up outside your room making it extra special. The trays was arranging very nicely nice urns of coffee (so you aren't dependent on the Keurig), and just a nice overall presentation. Great indoor and outdoor seating areas and easy walk to good restaurants, grocery store, parking was easy. If you have to go to Wooster, this is the place to stay! read more

St. Paul Hotel - Our pre-race breakfast delivered to the room - Hotels Near Me - Wooster, Ohio

My husband and I stayed here in June 2019. It couldn't have been nicer. The people who worked there were very helpful, and the service was impeccable including in room complimentary breakfast. I would certainly enjoy returning. read more

This is a small, boutique style hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side but very well appointed. The bathroom is amazing--large shower with rain fall and hand held shower heads, heated floors, and Tommy Bahama soap and shampoo. The floors in the bathroom area are heated. The room included snacks, Coke products, and a continental breakfast that is delivered when you request it (Upon check-in we were given an order form and 1 accompanied our breakfast for the next day). The staff was amazing. The elevator was slow, but we were warned about that fact when when checked in. The only minor thing I would change is that the room did not have a full length mirror. read more

Nearly finished boutique hotel open for business. Sleek, modern furnishings and fixtures (many of which are from Ikea, according to the boxes in the stairwell). I'm not too familiar with Wooster, but after looking for lodging in the area, I'm certain there is nothing in Wooster that resides in the boutique hotel market, such as the St. Paul. Very helpful, friendly staffed, is under-staffed. Word of advice: take the stairs. The elevator crawls at a snails pace, and stalled once. Only 3 flights, so no big concern to us. High-end finishes in the bathrooms include heated floors, oversized glass shower with rain showerhead. 50" TV made for great World Series watching. Very cool lobby space, with floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace. Central downtown location. Complimentary continental breakfast served to your room every morning. Happy with the overall experience. They just have some wrinkles to iron out (such as a sign out front). In a market of it's own in Wooster. read more
