This Catholic bookstore and gift shop is located in the basement of St. Patrick's Basilica. The entrance is on Nepean St.. The store offers a lot of books for adults and children, as well a large assortment of Catholic sundry. I am going to throw this out there, though I was raised a Roman Catholic, I do not attend mass. That being said, I adore Catholic art and that was the primary reason for my visit. The store is well lit, very bright (despite being in a basement), spacious, and clean. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. I went early on a Sunday morning and there were quite a bit of people browsing in the store, most likely parishioners, before attending Sunday mass. I bought a candle in a beautiful glass jar with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as well as a Joan of Arc prayer card. It is worth a visit if you're religious for sure, the store has a lot to offer! It can offer some items for the not-so-religious too, like me. It is a quaint shop and I will visit again once I need a new candle or perhaps a piece of art. read more
