At the front of the shop is an espresso bar that offers lots of tasty treats and alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. I got a oat milk cappuccino and a small chocolate mint cookie. The cookie was only 1$ and so tasty, like an elevated and adult girl guide cookie!! Excellent prices and kind service. This will be my new go to when I have some time in Ottawa South.

It does have many stacks of books, and vertical stacks are not a convenience in a bookstore. Some of the stacks reach almost to the ceiling, so if you want to flip through - or even buy - a book midway or (heaven forbid) at the bottom of a stack, you are pretty much out of luck. There's also a selection of books for display at the front of the store with a deal going on: usually "$5 each, 3 for $10". The only point of concern is security, as it seems fairly susceptible to theft.
