I penned him down for about 10 minutes asking him to search his database for four different books, which he did with a smile the entire time. If they don't have it, they can order it for you. Also, if you register with them you earn store credit with every dollar you spend, which in a store like this is dangerous motivation. More dangerous motivation is that the prices are fairly reasonable. If I lived here, I'd be in that store weekly. If you're a bibliophile, go! In fact, their prices are extremely competitive with what you'd pay at larger/chain retailers. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they're more than willing to order a book for you if they don't happen to have it in stock. As such, it can be a bit overwhelming to browse through everything, since there's not a lot of room to move around. Regardless, if there's something you can look for, you can ask a staff member who'll probably know where it's located. It's a broad assortment of varying genres, and you might find something you didn't know you wanted. Found myself a bunch of nonfiction history books that I keep promising myself I would read. There's also a selection of books for display at the front of the store with a deal going on: usually "$5 each, 3 for $10". The only point of concern is security, as it seems fairly susceptible to theft.

One thing that I noticed when I entered the store is the smaller entrance way. It was a tad tight getting in with a stroller while people were trying to exit. Maybe there is another larger entrance that I did not notice? The store is super bright, and super clean, but kinda sterile. I usually visit Indigo to browse the latest home decor and sale items, so I was a bit thrown off that all their home decor and knick knacks are scattered across the store, but it was tastefully done and I get what they were doing there. For example: where the yoga books and fitness books were displayed, so were the yoga items and water bottles. Another example, the cookbooks were surrounded by kitchen tools and kitchen decor. It was nice to walk around this store and browse, but it was not bookstore vibes. I love grabbing books and browsing through them. I didn't find any chairs in sight besides going over to Starbucks, where I could get comfy and browse through some books. There is also an indigo kids, that looked bright, and fun, but I didn't venture too much into that department. This store is nice, but it's just OK in my books. I am a traditional kinda gal, and I really liked the old school "chapters" vibe of bookstores where they had tables and chairs all throughout the place, and it was more cozy. This is not the kinda of place to meet up with friends and work on projects at, unless you buy a coffee and do so at Starbucks.

They have a good selection on the shelves. And they have a knowledgeable staff that can make recommendations. If you are looking for something that isn't in stock, they will order for very quick delivery. They also have a good selection of out-of-the-ordinary toys and gifts for kids. Finally, they share space with an excellent coffee shop. Hard to ask for more.

They obviously have books, of all genres, but they have so much more than books. They have board games/card games and they have toys too, including Celestial Buddies, which are plushies of planets, moons and all things, well... celestial, lol. I especially liked the Saturn plushie. They have "Every Child Matters" stuffed bears as well. They have really cool bookmarks (I especially liked the Spaghetti and Meatballs bookmark). They have earrings that are book covers! Perfect for the bibliophile in your life who also loves jewelry (and has their ears pierced). The bookstore is very open and not cluttered at all. They had some shelves still empty when I went the first week of November 2023, so I think they will be getting more merchandise. Prices are comparable to other regular bookstores. No bargain basement prices, but no huge markup for being in trendy Westboro, lol. Staff are friendly and pleasant. They leave you alone to browse, which I like, but seemed helpful with other customers who needed help (I did not need help, so did not interact too much with staff). Great place to pick up gifts. They are definitely a welcomed addition to Westboro! Street parking only.

She also mentioned she intends to host book related events and have kids events which will be perfect for winter. Definitely added to my fevorite places list.
