Went in at 1am last night for a uti that caused an infection in my kidneys. I felt the worst I have in many years and I was willing to do anything to make me feel better. The doctors and nurses gave me the best care I have ever had. They were attentive and comforting through my very painful experience. They diagnosed my problem and began treatment quickly. I am so grateful they made me feel better and for being so kind to me my whole stay!! 10/10 recommend this place for any health emergencies read more

After several years of seeing the doctors at this facility I have given up. The error rate for services is over eighty percent. This is a minimal clinic with dubious supervision of details and practices. I waited three hours the last visit and walked out. I was still billed and services were added to my bill that I did not ask for or receive. There are many other choices to make in wellness care or emergencies services. I have moved on. Should I report them to the authorities. I have wasted so much time returning to get the errors corrected in scripts and billing I have given up. I cannot count on this office to be fair and reasonable. My time is valuable and will not be mishandled. I am done. read more

I am glad to see St. Micheals employees and owners are putting in good review for them. What a rip off, charged me $870 for Facility charge then another Bill for $360 for doctor charge. Remember all this is for 30 minute visit for my son ear pain. I will never go to this place again, they will get every penny out of you when you are in desperate situation. Absolutely horrible staff. Incredibly rude and sarcastic- one patient even left midway through his paperwork after receiving such treatment from a front desk employee. It took my brother quite a long time to receive a few stitches on his forearm and when he returned to the lobby he mentioned to me that the doctor seemed a little unsure of himself. The patient who had dealt with the sarcasm overheard a bit of what my brother was saying and asked him how his visit was. My brother again said it was fine, they didn't do anything wrong, just seemed a little unsure of himself. Apparently it was the final straw for the man that was already very irritated with the staff and he left saying he would rather go to St Luke's Hospital. Minutes after my brother and I left the building the registered nurse called my (19 yr old) brother and told him "they have him on tape making nasty comments" and accusing him of causing them to loose a patient!! Unbelievable. My brother said he did not say anything nasty, he just felt that they were a little unprofessional and the fact that they were now calling him in this manner proved his point. The nurse continued to press him about "what his problem was" until my brother said he would be hanging up. I called back to get to the bottom of the issue and just ended up in circles with the same nasty attitudes from both the front desk employee, Belinda, and the registered nurse. Also be sure to note that this facility is not child friendly. On a previous visit with my children I was waiting to see a doctor at the connected "Dr D's Urgent Care" office. My 1 yr old soiled her diaper and needed changed. I was directed to the lobby restroom across the hall at St Michael's. There was no baby changing facility in the restroom so I asked the St Michael's front desk employee if they had one somewhere. She informed me they did not have any baby changing facilities in the building and refused me access to a room in order to safely and comfortably change the diaper. My choices were a small, wobbly table in the lobby restroom or my hot vehicle if I didn't want to make my daughter sit in her own feces during our THREE HOUR wait. I also witnessed a front desk employee rudely snap at a young child for ringing a little bell they have on the lobby counter. Either these people are getting paid too little and treated badly by their employer or they have no business in the patient related health care field. My best advice is to visit one of many other great medical facilities in The Woodlands. Memorial Hermann's ER is much more friendly, typically not too bad of a wait and even CHEAPER than this place!! read more

We were told we had to pay the full emergency co-pay not the urgent care co-pay. You might as well head over to a reputable hospital. We did receive prompt service as there was only one person in front of us. The staff was unfriendly. Won't go back. read more

Fairly comfortable waiting room. Arrived @ 10pm on a Saturday night. Wife admitted less then five minutes later. No evidence of rude staff or incompetent Dr. Left office @ 10:40 with three prescriptions for her allergies. To add to this experience she received a followup call the next morning to see how she felt. Not bad for an urgent care center. read more

Not sure what the complaints are about. Took my wife in with a sprained ankle around 10pm, had no problems at all. Very nice staff, quick and courteous. Exam, x-ray, splint and out in 45 minutes. Would use this location again. Obviously, there's no pleasing everyone, so your mileage may vary as they say. read more

Had my 1st minor emergency visit with St Micahels last night as it was referred to me and I was more than impressed. Having used Memorial and St Lukes Hospitals before there was by far a complete difference (for minor emergencies). I was litterally in and out in about 30 minutes! I recieved 3 small stitches to my finger and a tetnaus shot. I have to disagree with the reviews. I was treated by the night staff and they were professional and courteous. I also need to point out that this facility is also cleaner than most hospitals I have been to. read more

Charged me for admitting me into the ER and I never was admitted. I got treated at the clinic next door. Nothing but money hungry doctors that's trying to make a buck. In case you need to see a doctor and can't see your pcp, go to a redi clinic instead. Never stepping foot inside their place again...even if my life is depending on it. read more

I am going with Jill's review on this place. I have been once and was far from impressed. I went here on Sunday the 7th, giving it a second chance, for what I thought was a UTI. This place had maybe one other person already in a room and me, thats it. They still took absolutely forever considering this. I am sure the staff is not completely unknowledgable but it sure feels that way. One of the gals in the office had tattos showing on both upper arms. I am not against them just feel they should be covered in a medical office, as a matter of professionalism. The doctor that I saw this time was rude in his delivery of how we could fix my problem. I would have to say he came across rude and sarcastic as another reviewer had mentioned. Now he may not think he does but I am 45 years old, been to many doctors offices and am being honest in that it is the way it felt. The first time I felt I was run through far to many tests since I followed up with my GYN and they said they saw no problem. Anyway I could say more but in summary, I would not go there again and could not reccomend it to anyone. I am not a person who enjoys or usually takes time to give bad reviews, I am just concerned with this place as a medical clinic. I am shocked BCBS signed them off as a provider. read more

I was billed over $1900 for my daughter's sprained ankle (with insurance!!). Treatment included x-ray, splint and crutches. We went to doctor's office next door but we were told (after 1 hr. wait) that they couldn't treat the ankle because it was broken--but a doctor never looked at it. This facility seems like a good racket for the doctor that owns both facilities. We ended up going to an orthopedic for treatment. The 2 visits to the orthopedic, casting, walking cast, and 6 weeks of physical therapy twice per week was less than this bill!! read more

I will never ever step foot into St. Michael's again. I wish I could give a "negative star rating". The only good thing is I was in and out very quickly. But $1500 +++ for an xray and a doctor that I couldn't understand tell me that it was only a bad sprain. WOW. And, I asked them not to bill my ins company, they did. On top of that I have been trying to get an itemized billing statement for 3 weeks now with no progress. My advice, go to a real hospital. read more

Went to St Michaels urgent care for a sinus infection and was told they were closing but if I went next door to the emergency room they would take care of me. I questioned the cost difference, they told me the only difference would be with the deductible which was $100.00 more but didn't care about that felt pretty crappy. I was there less than 35 minutes received two shots and a prescription. They billed my insurance $540.00 for the evaluation and management service and another $1900.00 facility charge. I have Aetna and they paid nothing, so I get stuck paying the full amount. Reading these reviews Bill H. must of written his before he got his bill. BTW went in on 12/30/2014 received bill 02/09/2015 and was 30 days past due. FIRST BILL!!! They don't respond to phone calls or emails and if you go back to the facility all the say is we're just the medical staff but here's a number you can call. First of all, my current insurance sucks, and I knew if i submitted my insurance I would probably have gotten a $5,000 bill at any ER. So, this review is for those paying with cash, not under insurance. We called ahead to ask for pricing of visit and cat scan. Visit was $350. Not too bad. Cat scan was $500 (to be billed later). Called memorial hermann as well and they could not give us a cash price for a cat scan which was a big red flag for me, so off to St. Michaels I went. Staff was extremely helpful, very nice and courteous. Facilities were very clean. The Dr. called me the next morning to check on me. Took less than 10 minutes to be taken back for my issues. The only issue I am having currently is that I noticed they took out the $350 twice from my account on my debit card. I have since gotten two phone numbers to try to clear it up. I assume it will be handled, as we only signed the receipt for 1 $350 charge so it should be a non-issue. Would recommend this place, just make sure you know your insurance's ER policies before submitting. This might be the cheapest ER bill I have ever seen. read more

I cannot put into words how horrible the staff here was. Their website says pre-register... so I took the time to do so. We travel in an RV alot and use urgent care facilities when on the road. I find pre-registering like that to be a big time saver. I called ahead to make sure my information had been received and we would be good to go... The girl who answered the phone says she had no idea what I was talking about when I referred to "pre registering".. I said, let me look to be sure I called the right urgent care provider? I checked, and yes... it was the one, so I called back. I couldn't believe it , but she was even more hateful then.After a few minues she unceremoiously put me on an extended hold. When she came back she said she called her other location and they no longer use the "pre register" from the website ..... I guess I was supposed to apologize to her for using it ??? Unfortunatey, I was really feeling bad and they were so handy, so I went on in to try to see the doctor. When I got to the check in desk I found the same attitude as the one I had encountered on the phone. As bad as I felt, I was NOT going to be treated so poorly so I walked right back out the door. The big hint should have been that there was only one other person there and as I listened he was treated equally as poor. I certainly would never use this facility or any of their other locations... It's too bad because they are so handy, but the number of patients there versus ...the number at the other similar facility tells the whole story.. As a small business owner this is particularly upsetting to me, ... somebody owns this business and I bet they think this staff is doing their job as they should.. ... read more

(This place is now called Cleveland Emergency.) I was suffering with complications from pneumonia when I went in there. I asked them if they were part of the United Healthcare Network and they assured me they were. When the tech drew blood, he had on plastic gloves but all the finger tips were torn off. I did not get any feeling of confidence in my dealings with the doctor. He said I was dehydrated and started IV fluids. I am diabetic and he said my glucose was too high. So he gave me a sample pill to take, along with some others to take home. (When I finally looked at the samples he gave me, they had nothing to do with glucose. They were blood thinners. I have CHF and am already on a blood thinner. Thank goodness I didn't take more than that original pill.) I was there from Tuesday 1/3/17 about noon until Wednesday 1/4/17 afternoon. (By Wednesday morning I was begging them to send me to St. Luke's. Had I been thinking coherently enough, I would have called 911 and had them come get me.) During the time I was there, they gave me 4 liters of fluid. And they were giving me a diuretic. That washed out all my potassium, sodium, etc. (which they weren't replacing), which started making my heart act up. They called their cardiologist, who wanted to send me to some hospital out on 290, while I was insisting on going to St. Luke's. They finally transferred me to St. Luke's Wednesday afternoon. I am grateful I didn't die there. I received a letter in the mail today. Seems they lied to me about being in the UHC Network, and that I now owe them $42,000+ for the 1 day I was there. Stay far, far away from this place. read more
