I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in the door. St. Matthews had two large rooms. The first room had furniture, appliances, sports equipment (they had a ton of golf clubs out front), and household goods. The second room was filled with clothing and accessories. Everything is in great condition and set up in inviting displays. St. Matthew's House began in 1987 when a group of Naples church members calling themselves the Homeless Task Force started bringing food to a homeless group living in a nearby wooded area. They started out by gathering food and clothing to help people and today have grown into a large ministry helping thousands of people in the Naples community each year. Operating expenses are covered by their businesses and one hundred percent of public donations goes directly into helping those who need it the most. This ministry takes it's name from bible verse Matthew 25: 35-36, 40 "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." St Matthew's provides programs to help people transition from homelessness to self sufficiency. The Immokalee Friendship House provides shelter to the homeless and over 25,000 meals a year. Justin's Place Feeding Ministry has been serving meals to the hungry for 25 years and more than 20,000 meals are served each year. Wolfe Apartments offers transitional housing to male clients of the Justin's Place Recovery Program which helps men and women fight drug and alcohol abuse. Programs are funded by proceeds from thrift stores located in Naples, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, and Immokalee. You can also support the worthy mission of helping people at St. Matthew's House by shopping their thrift stores. donating your furniture, hiring their catering company, and using their hand wash and detail center.

I just wanted to know her last name so I could do research on whether she was really qualified to be helping me or not. Once assigned to her: she was drained, uninterested, she was always eager to reschedule if I missed her call and never available if I would try to reach out. She wasn't very genuine or personable and it seemed like she was just reading from a book of responses. She even just hung up during a session once and although I think she'll try to blame it on the service she was so emotionally and mentally unavailable I don't doubt that she just hung up mid session. And then didn't try to reach back out after that. If she wanted to reassigned she should have done it more professionally. That's the major complaint from the majority of the employees is the unprofessional behavior while working in such a significant field of MENTAL HEALTH. My therapist: Sydney Marmon

You can find everything from a cute everyday top to high end designer pieces that are perfect for special occasions. I went right after Thanksgiving and everything was 75% off, which was amazing. While shopping, I observed multiple staff members who were restocking merchandise openly discussing, in front of customers, how they were removing the "good" items from the sales floor to take to the back and set aside in personal piles for one another. This was spoken about loudly and casually, as if it were standard practice. While doing so, these same employees repeatedly stepped directly in front of me and physically pushed past me to access racks I was actively browsing. This occurred multiple times and created an uncomfortable and disrespectful situation. The combination of staff hoarding merchandise for personal use and physically disregarding customers reflects a serious lapse in professionalism and store oversight. Customers should not be displaced or made uncomfortable so that staff can reserve merchandise for themselves. This behavior undermines trust, fairness, and the integrity of the store's operations, and leadership should be made aware.

They're supposed to be a charity but they still are livelihood and ruined our lives and we still don't have a vehicle we spent $7,800 everything we saved for years just to have it stolen from us. He still to this day has not rectified the situation he will not replace the vehicle he had ample time to do so he tricked us by making us pay to have our car towed to Brandon the mechanic and pretend that he was going to fix our car and help us but he just ran out the time so I couldn't sue him in a lawsuit and then gave us back a broke down piece of car that didn't work and they wouldn't even scrap it for $200 I cannot believe the audacity of this company has little regard for people's families in their lives they took everything from us. They sold us a car for double the price it was worth. I should Not have been trusting he is a lier. He stole our families life by selling us garbage for 7,800 our life savings the next morning after I spent our life savings on the car he said he would not do anything it was my problem then changed his mind we dropped the car off with Brandon who has our car for many months and never fixed anything towed our broke down piece of crap car back to us which we had to pay for and told us it was junk Naples Auto Donation center ruined our lives I lost my job, we lost our house, and my 3 kids I sent up north to live with family because I could have them homeless on the streets. He lied many times and truly ruined our families life They took everything from us. 239-302-7725 If you want details about how he stole our life savings and ruined our lives my daughter cries all the time I can honestly say he ruined our families life and smiled and said no warranties after he left my vehicle sit with Brandon the Auto mechanic who was supposed to fix it but all he did was spit in our face and not fix our car it was there for many months. He did nothing but lie repeatedly. He gave us back a 7,800 vehicle that we couldn't even sell for scrap for $200 it cost us more money to tow it over to go see Brandon until it back and he did absolutely nothing except early by car stood there rip everything out and not put the car back together. Naples Auto Donation center and Brandon all they did was run out time give us hope to spit in our face and ruined our lives. Karma is real and I hope every nasty thing Naples Auto donation center do to all the families you hurt comes back ten fold. Please don't buy anything from these horrible people who ruined our families life.
