"Two words. Don't fall." That was the doctor's response during a medical gathering to an audience member who asked for his advice on the most important thing to do for a healthy life into senior years. But fall I did last week and it was a doozy on a hard tile floor. Jaw, neck, knee, foot all needed attention but I dawdled 24 hours hoping things would look better the next day. Alas, they were worse and to avoid ER waits...waits...waits...waits...you know what I'm talking about, I went into urgent care. As medical appointments go for the purpose at hand this could not have been a better one. I was pretty certain nothing was broken but I wasn't sure why my strategy of ice, elevation, nsaids had not created a better outcome but a worse one 24 hours post event and now not being able to stand on the damaged leg and with ample bruising on face and neck I guess I was looking for diagnosis and direction. I have had since college a CNS disease in which falls can be part of the evolution and having had two prior in different decades that did result in fractures, I knew this was different for the damage done. Check in was quick and easy, the nurse who saw me first was professional and kind, the PA who saw me second was thorough, professional and kind. The imaging he ordered of XRays for knee and foot and CT for facial bones could be done on site and the techs who did it were professional. Radiology results were returned in short order and more discussion with PA about diagnosis and path forward . All good. I hope you will never have a need for urgent care but if you do, based on my experience this is a good choice. read more

Patients beware, despite this facility advertising as "urgent care", they do not bill as one! Have been going here for over 10 years with my five kids using our Urgent Care benefits, as it was more financially feasible with just an Urgent Care copay to avoid the Emergency Room charges. During our most recent urgent care visit they nickel and dimed me for absolutely everything! I argued with insurance asking how they billed a surgical tray, each stitch and $10 for two ibuprofen they gave to my son for 3 stitches, a 20 minute visit exceeding $500?! Blue Cross confirmed that the claim St Luke's Urgent Care submitted consisted of the visit as urgent care and everything else under emergency room services, which applied everything to deductible instead of our urgent care copayment! Insurance educated me that facilities can do such to receive more payment reimbursement and it's at their discretion to do so. After numerous phone calls to the billing office advising what insurance told me and requesting reconsideration of claim submission, they advised us they would not correct their billing. I pleaded to just view some of my past claims submitted for my kids from just the year prior for similar services, however they refused. Even worse they converted us to paperless billing, without our knowledge or consent and months later sent us threatening statements saying we're way past due. St. Luke's Urgent Care is no longer an urgent care! I'd recommend go anywhere else if you have insurance that covers urgent care benefits. read more

I suppose this is an okay place to go for a sniffle, xray or a stitch. If you need anything requiring more advanced imaging skip this spot and head directly to the ER. Just because it is attached to a quasi hospital, don't expect the urgent care folks to have any access to the hospital equipment. I was told we don't have access to ultrasound on weekends! Complete and total waste of time and money. I would have fared better with a cold compress at home. read more

It was great to discover today that we now have a St Lukes Cardiology Dept, incl Imaging abilities etc- right here in Eagle! (This suite, Ste 110, is located where the small cafeteria has been located.) I had a very professional man do my Echo today. I felt safe & comfortable & would definitely recommend this location- especially since the tech took the time to actually go thru my complicated Echart before I even arrived. Very nice, clean facility and all the employees I have interacted with on several occasions have been extremely positive.

I took my husband to St. Luke's Urgent Care on Friday September 9th because we suspected that he had Covid-19. After the wait, being seen by at least 3 NP's, assistance and RN's the last person came in to give him his positive results. My husband asked "how long will I have Natural Immunity?" Her answer was "Oh, no, you don't have Natural Immunity. As soon as you are well enough you need to come in for the vaccine". This might be her opinion but it is not a medical truth!! We both actually went to have our antibody test this Monday and his antibody level was 20. Far above the level of 0.8 which is the lowest level for a positive antibody test. St. Luke's staff should not be giving people false, not accurate information, and especially their opinions. read more

Husband was told to go to urgent care for his Covid symptoms. His doctor, who is in the same building as the urgent care is out of town and other providers did not have any appointments. So we went into Eagle urgent care. mind you he can barely talk and it's his last day to receive anti-viral meds. After short wait he was taken back and released shortly after with no treatment. Nothing. Not even cough syrup. What is wrong with St Luke's. Doctor says go to urgent care for anti-viral meds and last day to get and now we walk out with nothing? He's very ill. Can barely swallow. As a new arrival to the area, it's always un-fun to find new docs. Traditionally you have two choices: rely on the kindness of strangers for referrals or take your chances and go through the yellow-page listings. Thankfully, now, we have the Yelp community! I read a lot of reviews for the St. Luke's system and found mostly favorable responses. I was happy to see that they had an urgent care facility in Eagle. I found their building to be new and modern. The check-in system was streamlined and fast. It was a slow day, so I got right in. The nurses and other staff were friendly and efficient. I had a minor issue with a suspected sinus condition, so I didn't see a doctor. The PA was wonderful and really respected my wishes to incorporate naturopathic treatments whenever possible. If I could suggest one small change it would be to limit the number of people assisting you. I was taken back by a nurse who took a few notes, another took my blood pressure, then I saw the PA (who left and never returned...I had a few more questions), and finally another nurse handed me my papers and we were done. Maybe I got all this extra attention because it was a slow day. Also, I was charged $120. for this short visit and was never seen by a physician...seems a little high. There should be a lower fee when you are seen by a PA only. Regardless, I like St. Luke's policies. They reduce the stress of coming to a doctor. And I appreciate that they didn't suggest more extreme treatments, tests, or whip out the prescription pad for something minor. read more

Nurse practitioner is a filthy individual who likes to sit on the bio hazard trash can and hold onto it with her hands. Had no clue what was going on and would come and go with no warning. Did not see her once was her hands... even withe the fact that I have the flu that was confirmed the day before. Don't worry about if you are in pain... they'll just ask you and do absolutely nothing about it. I do believe that is the standard for most of Idaho unfortunately. Low standards. During the exam she used the same tool to look in my throat then straight to my ears and then up my nose... wtf. read more

Do not take a young child here. My 6 year old was crying with stomach pain and both the nurse and doctor showed zero empathy and the doctor actually asked me with tone "what do you want me to do?" because she didn't want to be examined. We walked out and will never return. They should advertise as an adult only clinic. I complained to their management as well. Completely disgraceful experience. read more

Had a fantastic experience here on 3 separate occasions dealing with a nasty infection. Little to no wait all 3 times, friendly admin, informative aids, knowledgable and experienced PA/NP that WASN't in a rush to get me in and out AND they are open til 10pm on WEEKENDS! We drove 30 min from SW Boise and it was worth the drive every time. Highly recommend this urgent care!! 5's without question!! read more

Horrible place!! Staff is so rude. The check-in person was very nice and then it was downhill after that. Took my son in at 9:30pm on a Friday night. Was taken back very quick then questioned by the nurse as to why I didn't give my son the flu shot this year. They did a flu test and it came back positive. The NP named Ann stood at the doorway - not even coming into the room clapping and saying congratulations you have the flu. When asked if there was something we could do for his thrust he could barely swallow and was stinging. Still standing at the doorway she shakes her head no and says there isn't anything they can do. Then the nurse says to get some liquid Motrin and liquid Benadryl and gave him swish that around in his mouth. When I asked how that would help his throat she replied it will help him sleep. He's 14 I don't need to make him sleep. Overall BAD bedside manner. I would NEVER go there again no matter what! read more

Both the doctors & nurses listened to what I said, were always polite, & gave me great advise. This used to be the best urgent care, but over time the service has degraded. From a quick 5 minute wait to 10, 10 to 30, 30 to a whole out. But it doesn't stop there... The last three visits my family has had have been 2 whole hours before even being seen by a doctor. This doesn't include all the other smaller things they have to do. I'm waiting right now to see if I have an ear infection, all they need is an otoscope and a prescription if needed. read more
